Adultery A Husband and Wife’s Playful Texts Turn Into a Complicated Affair
(05-07-2026, 10:30 AM)RCF Wrote: I know what you are saying and I understood that already but I felt it fake compared to Nikita, Nikita is in this position before, she took time, she accepted her reality, whatever it is right or wrong from overall truth, in her mind she moved on or she thought she moved on but there was pain, honesty and struggle in her approach how she ended it and it felt genuine.. that's why we can still empathize with her as her transition and moving on was grounded, real...

Jay pretending that nothing impacts him, see this is what you are missing again shows his arrogance not his sacrifice, I don't want that, he and her are same in terms of love, I believe that, they just do not understand well but their hearts do...He wants to hide his true pain that much is good but acting like nothing impacts him anymore and when truly moving on means like a sudden switch one acts such way doesn't show humility nor feel real...

Anyways, that's my take...

~RCF

Yes absolutely he is faking it. He wants a start fresh start, he indeed don't want any pity on him, he doesnt want someone to look like down or pity.. it may not be real, we are almost closer to climax. I cannot pin 10-15 chapters to show his progression over it. Nikitha started with similar fakeness, at the very start but soon she moved on. Similar way, Jay is doing it now.

No one can transform overnight, but the intent can come, the show off, of fakness, would give them a strength for the moment. That lease of hope will drive them further.

I guess some of these are dramatic liberties the writer takes to bring in the shock effect. Even assuming she has sense to go upstairs for sex with Tarun, why not keep the door completely closed instead of leaving it partially open?

Did Jay really sleep with Anjali? I have this nagging feeling that he never did and it was a deal between them to pretend and put a show

Did any one actually see them fcking? Why saying this because everything about Jay sits right with me but him becoming possessive when Anjali kept growing close to Tharun didn't feel right at all, like him banging the desk out of jealousy, frustration and in desperation he took her again into store room to show Tharun who she belongs to in real.....that attitude, behavior doesn't sit well at all with some one who was in love with Nikita even unknowingly at that time....I feel there is some story that is yet to be unfolded which clarifies for me his feelings and behvaior with Anjali, also him saying I didn't even allow Anjali to be with Tharun why would I allow you, my wife...all this is so out of place in his character arc...

Its a closed chapter, it happened, he was in affair with her. Its a mistake, it has no heart only heat. So anywhere in future it has no weight. He got closer to deviate her, give her need addressed, soon they started physical affair. When you have everything, you will get an unwanted ego, to show who you are, that thing reversed everything.

That event triggered a idea in Tharun
That event triggered a pain in Nikitha

Which lands him today.

I don't think that would have any bearing on Nikitha. The final push for Nikita sleeping with Tarun was when she assumed Jay.slept with Sharmi that morning they reached Mumbai. This was immediately clarified by Sharmila the very next day in the hospital. But that didn't change anything for her

Also, she made that decision of sitting in Taruns car initially thinking Jay has still hopes of her, if she directly drives Jays car after coming to Bangalore. Infact Tarun is the one who asked her to go to drive Jays car citing Jay might feel.pain in his elbow while driving. So she has already moved on despite knowing Jay got into accident because he tried to stop her and Tarun at the Beach villa. After that she has been cold at Bangalore house saying she is doing it as a friend without any feelings of love for Jay. We know she loves Jay as we read her thoughts from earlier chapters
But after the accident she only realises Jay might have loved her and she didn't realise before things spiralled out of control but no where we saw her have same feelings of love towards Jay after the accident.

The first time he saw them kiss, he lost cool, that paved all way till here.
The first sex, he could not stop, he dindn see it.
The second and third, he was not aware of, he had not seen it.
This, he had seen it, its the BREAKING POINT.

See even my readers, who all these days patiently reading everything was fine, even with Tharun, Nikitha sex before, the moment they witnessed Jay witnessing it, the lost it. Thats exactly how Jay feel.

There is no way back he had to divorce her, make his mind up and recover, grow as a man or rework on him. From here his redemption arc will start. But will that help the love that broken now multi level? that we have to wait and watch.

@heygiwriter, I think I need to clarify what I meant when I said, "The story is over for me."

I'm not saying I dislike the direction you've taken. In fact, I think the chapter where Jay accidentally witnesses Tarun and Nikita together was the emotional climax of the story.

At that moment, Jay finally understood the reality. He accepted that Nikita had truly moved on. Earlier, there were moments that made me think she still had unresolved feelings for Jay, but after everything that happened that night, I felt she had consciously chosen Tarun and was ready to build a future with him.

Tarun also comes across as someone who genuinely sees Nikita as his future. He isn't playing games; he's taking responsibility for the relationship and treating her like the woman he wants to spend his life with.

As for Jay, I think he has finally learned his lesson. He has accepted the consequences of his mistakes, given the divorce papers, and realized that he cannot force someone to love him again.

That's why, for me, this feels like the natural ending of their emotional journey.

Whatever comes after this—whether Nikita goes back to Jay, Tarun leaves Nikita, Mitra returns, or there's another twist—feels more like post-climax drama than the core story. It may still be interesting, but emotionally, I already got my conclusion.

Earlier, I used to think Tarun should be the one to walk away because I believed Nikita still loved Jay. But after this chapter, I don't feel that anymore. I think Nikita has made her choice, and because of that, I don't want Tarun to suddenly give up now.

Instead, I'd like to see Jay move forward with his own life. Divorce doesn't mean life is over. Sometimes, the bravest ending is accepting the loss, learning from it, and finding happiness again. I genuinely believe Jay is capable of that, and I think it would be a fitting conclusion to his character arc.

Lol gave up so easily?

What really changed? Nothing...They just had sex...so why would you think this is natural conclusion? If that was the case, when Nikita saw Jay with Anjali she should have packed bags and left Jay...slowly over time working in same work place she would have met Tharun and married him...Isn't it?

Point is they could walk away from each other, many situations might break their hearts..earlier it was for Nikita, now it is for Jay...when story didn't end back then why should it end now....In my opinion story should end when love ends...I don't think love ended...so story should continue....logical conclusion would be realization for all characters...If Nikita thought it is that simple to live far away from the person she loves and yet make a place for some one else in her heart then it is not that easy...her actions might seem practical, life can be practical but happiness won't come from being practical, it comes from doing things that pleases heart...things that genuinely touches their heart. So far she thinks she is the one who moved on but she didn't see if actually when Jay moves on, how would she feel....you will see now...so story is yet to be concluded for me...

Nikitha continuing things just because first time she has sex with him and told some words like assurance... That's the only reason she is continuing till date... Top of that she got some support from tharum emotionally and sexually... They discussed (nikitha and tharun ? But jay and Nikitha not discussed that's the problem..

I have still hope they reconcile and end up together for that Jay needs to go away from her life for some time and give her freedom and hope one time she listen to her heart not her mind and obligations that is the only way Jay and Nikkita could be together and start fresh

Chapter 129 - The Farewell Hug.

When Nikitha opened her eyes, the first thing she saw was Jay’s face hovering over her, brows furrowed with genuine worry. She was lying on their bed. A lady doctor stood beside him, packing her bag.

“She seems a bit weak,” the doctor said calmly. “Probably didn’t eat enough, combined with stress and lack of proper sleep. Her blood pressure shot up suddenly, causing her to faint. She’ll be fine in a few hours. Make sure she stays hydrated and eats nutritious food.” With a polite nod, the doctor left.

Jay sat on the edge of the bed, looking at her for a long moment. “What happened?” he asked softly.
Nikitha turned her face away, her voice blank. “It’s nothing. I just didn’t get enough sleep.”

Jay’s jaw tightened as memories of the previous night flooded back — Nikitha and Tharun together, their passionate adventures echoing in his mind. He swallowed the bitterness and simply nodded.

Nikitha asked, why do you suddenly giving me the divorce.
Ja: Because i realised, we have nothing to have something for ourself.
I have seen myself, you have really moved on.

I don want to stress you much, but things has to come this way, we need to speak, we have to divorce and speak Terms that works for both .

Nikitha: Don't think too much, pin whatever terms you want, i will agree and sign it.

Jay:  “Fine. When you’re ready, let’s sign the papers.”
She agreed without argument.

A little later, Nikitha pushed herself up and leaned back against the headrest. She looked at him properly for the first time since waking. “You look new,” she said quietly. “I’m glad you took care of yourself before we going to your village.”

Jay’s expression remained steady. “We? No. Only I’m going. The moment I realised we may not work out, I knew it wasn’t advisable to take you there. You should continue with your Cochin plans with Tharun.”

He paused, then added firmly, “In precise, you are not coming to the village. Only I am going.”

Nikitha said nothing. The silence stretched between them.

Moments later, Jay continued, “Also, after the divorce, we’ll need to think about this house. Maybe we should sell it and split the share. It has your income invested in it too. I don’t think you saved enough to fight a legal case against your stepmother right now — that could stay pending for a long time. I don’t have enough cash to buy you out completely either. Besides, this place has become nothing but a memory of our togetherness. I don’t want either of us holding onto it without purpose or meaning. Let’s sell it.”

A single tear slipped down Nikitha’s cheek.
“What?” Jay asked gently.

She shrugged, wiping it away. “Nothing… just a little sentiment.”
“I understand,” he said softly.

He continued, “I’m doing pretty well now. My health has recovered. I don’t want you staying here just to take care of me. You can move on with your life. Physically move too… go to Tharun’s place. If I had another place ready, I would move out myself. But right now, you have an alternate place. Give up this space to me for a few days.”

Nikitha kept looking at his face, searching for something — anger, pain, hesitation — but found only quiet resolve. She finally nodded. “Tharun went to Mumbai today. Maybe I’ll stay here one more night and pack my things in the morning.”

Jay agreed without protest.

The rest of the day passed in heavy silence. Post noon, Nikitha cooked something light for both of them. By evening, she began packing her clothes and belongings with a heavy heart. Every corner of the house felt alive with memories — the furniture they had chosen together, the small decorative pieces, the kitchen where they had shared countless meals. Everything whispered what she was truly leaving behind. The weight of her choices settled deeper with every item she folded.

Night fell. They slept on the same bed, maintaining some distance at first. After a long silence, Nikitha finally spoke.
“Do you really ready to move on?”
Jay turned toward her. “Yes.”
“So you are not faking it?”

“I’m not faking it,” he replied honestly.
“But I won’t hide that it pains me. I’ll involve myself in things that bring me happiness and help me move forward.”

She shifted closer to him, her voice softening. “Can I ask you one thing?”
Jay looked at her. “What?”

“Shall I hug you… once? I just want to feel your warmth. After all these years of togetherness… just once. Maybe our farewell.”

She didn’t wait for his answer. Nikitha moved forward and hugged him tightly from behind, burying her face against his back. Silent sobs shook her body as tears flowed freely.

“I’m sorry,” she whispered brokenly.
“Allow me to sleep like this just tonight.

Tomorrow I promise I’ll leave without any baggage in my heart.
Let me cry my heart out now, please don't stop me and please don't think im trying to patch up between us.

Sorry for failing you.
I can see now… you are finally capable of moving on.”

Jay turned around.

Jay’s arms slowly came around her, holding her close. They stayed like that, wrapped in each other’s warmth.

Later, she murmured against his chest, “I want you to adjust with me for a few more days. I would like to surprise you too… for your own good.” She paused, voice cracking. “All these days I have never said this, but I will tell you now — I truly loved you. And I realised you loved me too. But everything is done. Every line has been crossed. The fault is mine, i should have waited, gave you enough time, i rushed, and in process like you said i hurt many hearts. Now, with respect to our bonding, We have nothing left for ourselves. I’m sorry…”

You were right, everything goes well, looked good, when we were just friends, the moment we realise love, we destroyed ourself.
It pains me when i realized, we destroyed the beautiful thing build by ourself.

Nothing can be reversed, I'm moving on with hope, we can be good in our respective lives.
Im Sorry i messed up.

Jay hugged her tighter, his own tears flooding silently as he hid his face in the curve of her neck.
They fell asleep in that warm, bittersweet embrace.

The next morning, when Jay woke up, the bed was already empty beside him. Nikitha had left.

At 7:00 AM, in Tharun’s apartment, Tharun sat on the sofa, still staring at his phone. He wanted to call her but didn’t know how to begin. The last message from Mithra still glowed on the screen:

“Do you think I will leave your life just like that?”
Attached was a photo of Mithra standing happily with Tharun’s father and mother. The text below read:

“They agreed to our marriage. I didn’t respond to your messages earlier because I was working hard to get this. Their approval. I won’t allow you to move away from me. With love, Mithra.”

The doorbell rang.

Tharun sighed and walked to the door. When he opened it, Nikitha stood there with her luggage, eyes red and swollen.

Before Tharun could say a word, Nikitha stepped forward, crying, and collapsed into his chest, embracing him tightly as fresh tears soaked his shirt.

Most of the times when I see readers just justify their views and some unnecessary fights over the comments.. I used to think we just come to read some raw sex and fantasies... Why these people are fighting for this.. no feelings over the sex... Sex is just sex which is physical need.. they can have from the third person and still love their partners ? percent... But things turned for me here in this story.

Dear, oh dear,

You can't get into my mind. After reading some of your comments, I actually found myself wondering, "What happened to you?"

Are you the same RCF I met earlier, or has the Heygi effect taken over you?

You always seem to vouch for happy endings. To me, though, humans are flawed by nature, and real life rarely offers such neat conclusions. People don't necessarily get happy endings, they settle for what suits them best, or what they can live with.

Keep posting, you are my indicator here in xossipy.

Your comment about your heart “tearing into a thousand pieces” and needing to be hospitalized sounds very intense and not logical correct but it doesn’t quite make sense in this context. I hope you’re actually doing okay.
If what you said were literally true, you probably wouldn’t even be able to comment here. It seems like the comparison of an elephant climbing a tree has upset you, are you ok my friend?
