Strengths:

Charismatic leader
Excellent technical knowledge
Strategic thinker
Patient and observant
Physically attractive and commanding presence

Weaknesses:

Can become ruthless when obsessed
Prone to jealousy and possessiveness
Struggles to control his sexual urges once triggered
Slightly arrogant about his position and capabilities

In the Story:

Tharun represents the “new threat” and external temptation in Nikitha and Jay’s hidden marriage. He is slowly becoming dangerously attracted to Nikitha not just physically, but also to her intelligence, grace, and the mysterious vibe she carries. He is willing to befriend Jay to get closer to her and is ready to take calculated risks to make her his.

@heygiwriter, one question I've had for a while is:

why can't Tarun be the one to leave Nikkita?

From what we've seen, Tarun is emotionally mature and perceptive. He has already noticed that, despite everything, Nikita still has an emotional pull toward Jay. She keeps worrying about him, expressing gratitude toward him, and Jay continues to occupy a part of her heart.

If Tarun truly loves Nikita, wouldn't it also make sense for him to realize that he deserves to be someone's first choice—not someone they're choosing because of guilt, a promise, or circumstance?

I actually think it would be a powerful moment if Tarun himself stepped away, saying something like, "I love you, but I don't want a love that's divided." That wouldn't make him weak; it would make him emotionally strong and consistent with the character you've built.

Sometimes, the greatest act of love is letting someone go when you know their heart is still somewhere else.

Why didn't Jay do that yet? Not even once he said till now..if you do not feel love with me all this time maybe I am not right for you? Still he tired to prove his love, her love and also got himself into accident to stop them from becoming one.

He should have realized if its his true love letting go applies to him as well...both are not saints...only Nikita is noble in the story lol

Chapter 125 – Clearing Names and Heavy Hearts

When HR finally said, “Let’s do it,” Tharun raised his hand respectfully.

“Sir, one request — please don’t reveal our names. If Anjali realises it was us who brought this to light, she might try to damage our reputations further. What if she takes it personally? Also, issuing the clarification in the name of the company like company find it out, will send a stronger message. Employees will know the company is watching.”

HR thought for a moment, then nodded.
“Agreed.”

As they left the cabin, Nikitha turned to Tharun.
“Why did you want to cover our names?”

Tharun looked straight ahead, his voice quiet.

“I don’t want Jay to think we were involved. You promised we would start soon as a family. I don’t want him to have any false hope.” Like you still have love thats why you help clear his name.

The drive back to the office was cold and silent. When they entered the building, the entire floor was buzzing.
A fresh notice had been put up on the board.

OFFICIAL CLARIFICATION

After a thorough internal review, it has been confirmed that Mr. Jay did not write or send the previous letter that harmed companies image. The company apologizes for any inconvenience caused and reaffirms its trust in him.

Nikitha felt a quiet wave of relief. She instinctively reached for Tharun’s hand and held it tighter.
When she turned to look at his face, however, there was no joy — only pain.

“Why aren’t you happy? that His name is cleared.”
Tharun gave a small smirk, sad smile.

“I will wait until you understand me right.
Take your hand. I don’t want people to think badly of us.”

He gently pulled away and walked toward his cabin without another word.
He barely spoke for the rest of the day.

In the evening, as they drove back, Nikitha couldn’t bear the silence any longer.

“Are you still angry with me?” she asked.
“I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have said it. Tell me what you want. I’ll do it.”

Tharun turned to her, his eyes heavy.
“I want to feel your love one day.
I want to see you proceed with the divorce.
I want to marry you as soon as possible.”

Nikitha fell silent.

She knew it would take time for her to truly fall in love with him. Jay, even in his current condition, was not ready to give a divorce — the last time she had asked, he had said anything except that. And marriage without divorce was impossible.

The conversation ended in a heavy, known silence.

When the car stopped outside Jay’s house, Nikitha saw a cheerful Sharmi waiting. Sharmi came forward and hugged her warmly.
“Nikki, I didn’t know you could help him like this. I’m so happy.”

She hugged her for a moment longer, then left with a bright smile.
When Nikitha entered the hall, she saw a visibly relieved and happy Jay.

She realised HR must have informed him — under the pretext of not revealing the secret.

“Thanks,” Jay said softly, looking at her.
Nikitha gave a small nod.

Jay continued, his voice gentle.
“I don’t know if you still think about me after everything that’s happened between us.”

Nikitha avoided his eyes.
“Did you have your tea? I’m going to prepare your favourite, as you got cleared your name.”

Jay walked closer.
“I’m happy that you at least started to understand me.”

“Ask me whatever you want. Let me try to honour it.”

Nikitha looked at him for a long moment, then said calmly,

“I’m happy we were able to clear your name. But the only thing I want is for you to lead a happy life without me. I will clear every mess I made. Open your eyes and see — I have moved on for real. My relationship with Tharun is more than sex”

She paused, then added firmly,
I have a need from myself,
“Divorce me as soon as possible. Mutual and medical — that says my uterus has a problem and I cannot conceive.”

Divorce? the moment you ask, consider, everything is over between us.
She calmly said, I'm asking you divorce for the same.

The night became unbearably heavy.

They slept on the same bed after dinner, but the distance between them felt wider than ever. Nikitha kept checking her phone, hoping for a message from Tharun. She sent a long, sincere apology, but there was no response.

The next day was her turn to take care of Jay at home, but none of them know the day will bring one more unexpected scenario, That will push Jay to the extreme, that he would take a decision, he doesn't want all the time.

Divorce…mutual and medical….she can’t conceive as the reason…..

Taking the blame in front of his family….then why was she taking birth control pills…Tharun’s uncle know this….and maybe this would be the reason to accompany Jay to his village….

In her stubbornness of proving a point that she has moved on….which she only decided post letter incident and believing Jay had sex with Sharmi which have been proved wrong….

Learning to love….thats new….

First she must make herself and Jay forget their love….she knows why Jay couldn’t express her love….he almost sacrificed his career for her…made her what she is now….

But alas….everyone has a take…on love…and past….

Hyegi has made this story a web of emotions…each chapter with a different flavour….pls continue to entertain us with your writing

I think if it's already 20 days since she closed the loan, they will receive the documents from the Bank which makes Jay think she already has moved on and initiate divorce as per her wish.

Due to some time on hand, i re-read some chapters and it appeared like Jay has given up when he was down with fever and Tarun visited him. When Nikita tells him she will ask Tarun not to visit, he says what difference does that make. And after few chapters he says you have every answer ready for what ever I say (reg caring for him). Then he becomes almost passive in not doing anything. But in Mumbai once he learns of Tarun, Nikitha missing after Sharmi's intervention., he rushes to stop and gets into an accident. Thereafter he puts very little effort more like he became a passive spectator in his own story.

Reg Nikita, she is the most confused character in this. In some chapters she looks at Jay and says why he is not fighting for me or angry at me. And when she realises he got into the accident because he tried to come to her to stop whatever she is doing with Tarun, she still thinks he has something going on with Sharmi until Sharmi clarifies next morning in the hospital. Also, Didn't Sharmi tell her that Anjali tried to seduce HR after Jay started neglecting Anjali and thats how Anjali got suspended. Doesn't that tell her that jay ignored Anjali after he realised his love for Nikita. This actually happens after her beach date (A small overlook as Bangalore doesn't have a beach) with Tarun where she sets boudaries.

Heygi, you have done a wonderful job of making us go through this rollercoaster ride through these characters. I know these are fiction but still it makes me wonder how you think through these scenarios of creating this drama, keeping us on edge and make us scream at the characters to think rationally. Kudos on your mastery of story telling.

I think it is better for Jay to divorce her and move on, when some is hellbent on ignoring her feelings and mutual love to this extent then there is no point to honor that love anymore

Also when Tarun already knows she is yet to fall in love with him why say I want to marry you as soon as possible. I can understand he asking Nikita to divorce Jay and slowly build his bond with Nikita and then marry when they both love each other. Why rush into marriage with one side love hoping other side will love after marriage. Looks manipulative to to me

I only hope it doesn't end like the Mirna Vikram Bharat or Anandhi Rahul and Suriya where live with one while having occasional fling with other. that dilutes everything
