Chapter 105 - The morning at the office changed Suresh and Gowtham Dynamics

Gowtham knocked on the door the moment he heard his boss’s frustrated voice from inside.
“Come in,” Mr. Prakash called.

Gowtham stepped inside, with the new assessment report in his hand.

Before he could say anything, his boss looked up with tired, angry eyes.

“The same competitor of ours snatched the tender for the second time in a row,” Mr. Prakash said, slamming a file on the table.

He looked at Gowtham and said...

“I was planning to make you lead the new startup firm along with the selected trainees.
Now it all seems to be going in vain.”

Gowtham stood silently, absorbing the blow.

Mr. Prakash continued, “Next week we have another critical tender.
I want you to prepare a full analysis and send it to Rahul.
Don’t treat Rahul like just an HR in this matter — treat him like a friend. And Rahul,”
he looked at the HR head sitting across, “you do the same. Work together on this.”
Both nodded.

Gowtham finally spoke, voice steady but concerned. “Sir, may I know how they won the bid? i mean the margin...”

Mr. Prakash leaned back, rubbing his temples. “They quoted just 2 lakhs below our project cost. And the same difference was there in previous bidding as well.. It’s impossible… unless someone from inside is feeding them information.”

Gowtham’s mind immediately went to Varsha.

She has all the qualities to do something like this, he thought. Stealing company secrets and selling them for money. She’s stubborn, cunning, and desperate. The image of her unbuttoning her shirt in his cabin flashed in his mind.

But instead of voicing his suspicion, something strange happened inside him. He no longer wanted to destroy her. He wanted to stop her from doing wrong… to guide her… to fix her.

Shit… are you lusting after her or actually starting to care?
Gowtham faced his first real confusion in a long time.

Mr. Prakash continued, “Our company doesn’t have traitors who would do something like this for money.
I’m sure about it.” He sighed.

“But we can’t take chances. Gowtham, I need your best on this.”
I have decided to make young brains work on this instead myself...

Gowtham nodded slowly. “I’ll handle it, Sir.”

He left the cabin with a storm raging in his head.
The same girl he had been trying to crush just days ago was now occupying a completely different space in his mind.
Now with the care?

At the same time at Suresh Office underground parking

Suresh was stunned by the scene before him.

The restricted underground parking, had transformed into something nightmarish. In a blind spot near the far wall, partially hidden behind a concrete pillar, a man lay sprawled on the concrete floor, badly beaten — face swollen, blood pooling around his head and staining his torn shirt. Three well-dressed men stood over him like executioners, wooden rods and knives glinting under the flickering fluorescent lights.

And at the center of it all, issuing commands with ice-cold authority, was Vinodhini Rakesh.

This was not the elegant, professional woman Suresh had met during his onboarding.
This Vinodhini looked terrifying - sharp, dangerous, and utterly in control.
Her eyes held no warmth, only calculated ruthlessness.

The beaten man groaned weakly, spitting blood as he rasped, “You bastards… leave me alone… Aditya, you took everything from me — my earnings, my cars, every single penny… You kept my wife as your mistress all these days… Why are you pushing me to this?”

Suresh’s blood ran cold. He heard every single word.

The man weakly raised his hand toward the right. Suresh followed the gesture and saw it — a sleek, imported MUV parked in the shadows. Through the tinted windows, he could make out two figures inside, skin exposed, bodies close together. He assumed they were naked.

Realizing the scene, Suresh decide to take his car and go back to ground floor.
As he stepped back ..

Vinodhini’s sharp voice cut through the tension.
Stop Suresh Where are you going..

Suresh: Im Sorry i will go back to ground floor.. I pretend i didn't see anything.
Vinodhini: Stop there Suresh.

Come here. Now, or these gentleman's will receive you

The three men turned toward him, their postures shifting threateningly.
The air grew thick with danger.
Rainwater dripped from the ceiling somewhere in the distance, the only sound breaking the heavy silence.

Suresh stood frozen for a second, heart pounding. The blood on the floor, the weapons, Vinodhini’s commanding presence — everything screamed that he had just walked into something he was never meant to see.

He walked slowly towards her.. figuring out what to respond..

Before he could respond, the MUV door opened.

A woman stepped out first. She was hurriedly wrapping a thin shawl around her body, covering herself. Her hair was messy, cheeks flushed, and she avoided everyone’s eyes. Behind her, Aditya emerged, casually pulling on a shirt over his muscular torso, still wiping sweat from his neck with a towel.

Aditya looked every bit the villain — tall, powerfully built, with a magnetic, commanding presence that made the air feel heavier.

Aditya smirked when he saw Suresh.

“Oh, Suresh… you’re here,” he said, voice smooth and dangerous. “You know what happens when someone doesn’t obey my rules? I punish them.”

He turned to the beaten man on the floor. “Mr. Ayush… you should not have crossed my line. You should not have cheated me, my money, and done things behind my back. You know why she is quiet right now?” He slapped the naked woman’s ass possessively. “Because if she reacts, you will have to endure even more pain.”

Let me tell you a bonus point... She is not loyal like you think.. i easily seduced her a long back.. at our company gathering.. She just cheated on you.. I was just planning to punish you and she made it easy..

Aditya laughed — a low, chilling sound that echoed in the underground space like a real villain’s.

He looked back at Suresh. “You shouldn’t have come down here. Underground parking is restricted for a reason.” His eyes bored into Suresh. “Now you have only two ways forward. Stay loyal to me… and you will grow with me. Choose the other path… and what you’ve witnessed here will look merciful compared to what will happen to you.”

Aditya slapped the woman’s ass again. “Wait for me at my home.” He ordered one of his subordinates, “Take her.”

He just left the place like a King...

Vinodhini stepped forward gracefully.
She glanced at the woman from the MUV, then at Suresh.
“Come with me,” she said firmly, her tone leaving no room for argument.

Chapter 106 - The Shift

In the noon, during lunch, Gowtham sat alone in the pantry area, staring at his tiffin box. His eyes kept searching for Varsha among the scattered employees, but she was nowhere to be seen. For unknown reasons, his gaze kept drifting toward the door, hoping to catch a glimpse of her.

He leaned back in his chair, running a hand through his hair in frustration. What the hell is wrong with me? he thought. You wanted to throw her out. You humiliated her, sabotaged her tests, and now… after hearing her story, you’re silently sympathizing with her? Last night you saw her breasts and all you could think about was fucking her. Enmity? Love? Lust? What the hell do you really want with her?

He stared at the wall, lost in his own thoughts. She’s not even a desirable woman when it comes to character. She does anything for money, she’s rude, adamant… Why are you becoming soft on her? If you just want to fuck her, then seduce her and get it over with. You seduced Sneha — an older, married woman. This should be easier. And you will get a taste of young Vagina.. Don’t confuse yourself, Gowtham.

He couldn’t eat. The food lost the taste.
He closed the tiffin box with a sigh and decided to head back to his cabin.

As he entered, he saw Varsha stepping out of his cabin, looking calm and composed.
Gowtham’s eyes widened in shock. He quickly blocked the doorway with his body.
“What are you doing here? In my cabin?” he demanded.

Varsha didn’t flinch. She looked straight into his eyes with ferocious intensity.
Before either of them could speak further, Mr. Prakash’s voice came from down the corridor.

“Gowtham? Varsha?”

The boss walked toward them, holding a printed copy of the assessment report.
“I saw the assessment report the peon sent. Good. Impressive. Varsha indeed scored well. I’m proud of her.”

Gowtham’s stomach dropped. He realised exactly what she had done — she had used his system to submit a manipulated, favourable assessment without his knowledge.

Mr. Prakash patted Varsha’s shoulder lightly and moved on, leaving the two of them alone again.

As soon as Mr. Prakash moved away from the cabin, Varsha turned to leave. But before she could take even a step, Gowtham’s hand shot out and grabbed her wrist in a firm grip. He pulled her back inside with surprising force, pushed her into the cabin, and slammed the door shut behind them. The lock clicked loudly in the sudden silence.

His hand was tight on her shoulder as he guided — almost shoved — her toward the chair. “Sit,” he ordered.
Varsha sat down, her heart racing but her face showing no fear.

Gowtham loomed over her, breathing heavily.
“Did you know what you’ve done?” His voice was low and dangerous.
“You used my system to submit a fake assessment without my knowledge? Don’t you think I will report this as fraudulent?”

Varsha looked up at him without flinching. “I will show this clip I recorded last night.
You tell him the truth, and I will use this.”

Gowtham stared at her for a second, then let out a short, bitter laugh.
“Can’t you be honest for at least one day?”

She replied coldly, her voice steady, “That doesn’t bring money.
This is the only way I can get money without selling my dignity.”

The morning’s tender leak news flashed in Gowtham’s mind.
He looked at her for a long moment, then sighed and sat down heavily in front of his computer.

“Even if you show them it’s a manipulation, they will throw you out along with me,” he said.
“Well, that way our scores are settled,” she shot back.

Gowtham smirked, shaking his head. “Okay. I agree. I’m on your side. But still, you will be thrown out.”
Varsha looked stunned. “Why? What happened?”

Gowtham leaned forward, typing rapidly on his keyboard.

“You just took a report from the doc here. What about the internal records? I need to update them on the database. Only then will it reflect properly. Boss will have to check it systematically after a while.”
Varsha was stunned into silence.

Gowtham sighed, logged into the portal, and carefully rectified the assessment, making it legitimate in the official system.
He double-checked everything before saving.

Varsha watched him the entire time. She very well knew he didn’t do this out of blackmail or fear.
He had genuinely helped her. He had given her a chance.

For the first time in a very long time, Varsha felt she had someone she could depend on.
She stood up slowly, her voice softer than before. “Thank you.”
Gowtham didn’t look at her. He simply nodded, still staring at the screen.

The silence between them felt heavier than any argument they had ever had.

The 12th Floor

Vinodhini didn’t give Suresh any time to think. She simply said, “Come with me,” and started walking toward the private elevator at the far end of the underground parking. Her heels clicked sharply against the concrete floor, the sound echoing like a countdown.

Suresh followed, his mind racing. Every instinct told him to turn around and run, but something deeper — curiosity, fear, and the cold realization that he was already too deep — kept his feet moving.

The elevator doors opened silently. Vinodhini swiped a black access card, and they ascended without a word. The digital display jumped straight from Basement-2 to Floor 12. No stops. No other floors.

When the doors opened, Suresh stepped into a completely different world.

The 12th floor was unlike anything he had seen in the building before. It was luxurious, almost secretive — wide marble corridors, soft ambient lighting, and an open layout that felt more like a high-end private club than an office. There was a full pantry section with gourmet coffee machines, a sleek bar area that looked like a pub, entertainment lounges with large screens, and even a small health-check corner with medical equipment. A few people in sharp formal wear moved quietly, speaking in low voices. Suresh had never seen any of these faces in the main office floors.
What the hell is this place? he thought, completely puzzled.

Vinodhini led him through the corridor without explanation and stopped in front of a large, minimalist lobby. It was almost empty — just a few sleek chairs, a water dispenser, and soft lighting. No windows. No distractions.

“Sit here,” she said. “Wait.”
The door closed behind her with a soft click. Suresh was alone.
He waited.

Ten minutes passed. Then twenty. Then an hour. The silence was oppressive. No one came. No one called. He sat there, hands on his knees, forcing himself to stay calm. The patience he had shown during his long interview wait days ago was being tested again — and he knew Aditya was watching, even if indirectly.

At exactly 1:00 PM, the door opened.
Vinodhini stepped in, composed as ever. She sat opposite him and crossed her legs.

“Suresh,” she began, “we thought you would be a good asset to us — to maintain and work behind the doors for the company’s real management. Your secrecy, your planning, and even your patience seemed to be key qualities we treasure. But today… you got to know more than you should have.”
She paused, letting the weight of her words sink in.

“Normally, if an outsider witnessed what you saw, our approach would be different. But you are not an outsider anymore. You have qualities we value. So we are promoting you… to the 12th floor operations. You will work from here. You will have a different company identity from now on.”
Suresh’s mind reeled. He could barely digest it. Ever since he stepped into this company, everything had been secretive, mysterious, layered. And now this.
“What does this promotion actually mean?” he asked, voice steady despite the fear. “Why me again?”

Vinodhini smiled — a small, calculated smile. “Because now you know the secret. A dark secret of his. In our circle, if you hold a secret, you must become one of us. There is no other way. You should not have entered the restricted area.”

She leaned forward slightly. “If you think this is a punishment, then let it be. But if you truly accept to be one of us… this is the golden opportunity. You will be one of the enablers who can make people operate as you want. A puppet master. Aditya will give you that freedom.”

Suresh’s heart pounded. He wanted to know more — what they really did here, who Aditya truly was, what “behind the doors” meant. But he also knew he had no real choice.

“I want to know more about him and what you all do here,” he said. “Without that, I cannot consent.”

Vinodhini slid a sleek black folder across the table. “Sign this agreement. You will get to see yourself tomorrow. Once you are in… we will guide you through it. From there, there is no turning back.”

Suresh stared at the folder for a long moment. He had nothing to lose anymore. His wife was playing with Gowtham’s cock. His daughter was the only thing he had truly safeguarded. Before making himself an enemy of these people, perhaps it was better to dive into their world.
He decided boldly. Let me be the puppet master too.
He signed the agreement.

Vinodhini took the folder back with a satisfied nod. “Welcome to the new V-Research and Analysis wing.”
She stood up. “You can leave now. You will get lunch at your table when you reach the actual office — the old one. You have to work there until we make proper arrangements.”

As Suresh stood to leave, Vinodhini added casually, “By the way… you asked about your friend Rakesh, right? Here it is. From that old company, there are two Rakeshs — one aged 32, another 50. Here are both their numbers.”

Suresh’s eyes fixed on the paper she handed him. Two contact numbers. Two different men.

Chapter 107 - Fractured Night

It was an exhausting day for all three of them, and the dynamics between Suresh, Sneha, and Gowtham had shifted noticeably.
Suresh reached home first, a little after 8 PM. He looked visibly drained — shoulders slumped, eyes distant, the weight of the underground parking scene pressing down on him like a physical burden. The image of the beaten man, the blood on the floor, Aditya’s chilling laugh, and Vinodhini’s cold authority kept replaying in his mind. Did I enter a powerful group… or have I just walked into a trap? Am I going to change the world, or am I already in too deep? The questions gnawed at him relentlessly.
Sneha, who had been waiting anxiously, came to him the moment he stepped inside. She hesitated for a second, then spoke softly, “Dinner is ready. We need to speak.”
Suresh looked at her, his expression tired and distant. “Give me whatever you have now. I’m exhausted.”
She tried again, voice gentle. “Shall we speak after dinner?”
“No,” he replied flatly. “Tomorrow.”
Without another word, he walked straight into the guest room and closed the door behind him. Sneha stood in the hall for a long moment, the rejection stinging deeply. She had spent the evening preparing his favorite dishes, hoping to bridge the growing gap between them, but the coldness in his voice made her realise how far apart they had drifted.

Gowtham reached home around 9 PM, equally drained but for different reasons. The day’s events — the tender leak crisis, his boss’s revelation about Varsha’s past, and the confusing pull he felt toward her — had left him mentally exhausted. He ate a few bites of whatever was left on the table for the sake of it, then went straight to the master bedroom. He changed into just his shorts and lay on the bed, staring at the ceiling, lost in thought.
Sneha was torn between her guilt over Suresh and the strange silence from Gowtham. She could not face either of them properly. After a while, she entered the master bedroom. Gowtham was still awake but made no move toward her. She quietly removed her saree, then her blouse and petticoat, standing for a moment in just her bra and panties before slipping into a simple nighty. She wasn’t trying to seduce him tonight. She simply wanted to sleep.
She lay down on the far side of the bed, leaving a noticeable gap between them. Gowtham didn’t reach for her. His mind was elsewhere — replaying Varsha’s face, her boldness, and the strange protectiveness he felt toward her.
Both of them drifted into an uneasy sleep without a single word or touch.

At 11 PM, Suresh couldn’t sleep. The house was unusually quiet. He opened his door and stepped into the hall. No lights. No sounds. Curiosity and a strange unease pulled him toward the master bedroom. He gently pushed the door open just enough to look inside.
Sneha was sleeping on one end of the bed. Gowtham was on the other. There was a clear space between them. No entangled bodies. No signs of the usual late-night passion.
Suresh stood there for a long moment, surprised. For the first time in weeks, they hadn’t had sex. He slowly closed the door and returned to his room, a complex mix of emotions swirling inside him — relief, confusion, and a deeper ache he couldn’t quite name.
The house remained silent, each person lost in their own storm, the fragile threads holding their strange relationship slowly unraveling.

Relationships turning to their phases, i guess.. Poor Suresh, could not muster up, whereas, Sneha has her undisturbed infidelity, though, she was open/available to Gowtham, as in the last chapter, but Gowtham skipped his usual part.. Neatly explained.
I request the writer to proceed on his own accord, that was seemingly keen.

Even if Suresh gone against Aditya, it wouldn't have mattered. At most, Aditya would have done sex with Sneha right in front of Suresh later.

Suresh, who got used to all this over the past few months (thanks to Gowtham), would have watched it with no feelings in face. He would simply open his diary, note it as 'Wicket Number 2,' and then walk into the next room and lock the door.

It would then be Aditya's turn to stand there stunned, looking like a comedy villain  Big Grin

Chapter 108 - Suresh's Declaration

The morning, when Suresh woke up at 5:20 AM, the house was quiet asusual. He casually slipped out of bed, changed into his track pants and t-shirt, and stepped into the hall.

She was sitting on the sofa, fully awake, dressed in her simple black leggings and a fitted t-shirt — her walking costume. No alarm had been set in the master bedroom. She had woken up early on her own, determined not to repeat yesterday’s mistake and wake Gowtham for another round. She wanted this morning to belong only to Suresh.

When she saw him, she rose from the sofa immediately, her eyes soft but nervous. Suresh didn’t stop or speak. He simply allowed her to follow him as he stepped out of the house.

The early Friday morning was quiet, the streets still wrapped in pre-dawn mist. They walked the first 500 meters in complete silence. Sneha’s steps were hesitant, her body still carrying the exhaustion from the previous days.

Finally, she spoke, voice soft and trembling.

“I’m sorry…”

Suresh didn’t respond. They continued walking another 300 meters until they reached the familiar stone slab in the park. Suresh sat down. Sneha sat beside him, close but not touching.

She repeated, her voice cracking, “I know you will be angry with me… See, I have an explanation and you need to hear it. It’s not like that…”
She took a shaky breath.

“The day, that morning when you told me about your doubt… that Gowtham may be playing with us… it did get into my head. I even wanted to question him and i was bit confused in my head. It was my regular pattern to have shower sex with him in the morning… after I spend some time with you. That day, what you said got into my head. I actually avoided him while he was midway in the shower.

You know… withdrawing from sex in the middle would be hurtful. I thought I hurt him… he was sulking behind that entire day after that.

That night he did the same..
I didn’t process much. I thought it was my duty to get him back to normal, so I initiated the sex…a way of fixing him or consoling him”

She looked at him with pleading eyes.

“Now I realise you would have been hurt that I chose to have sex with him after you raised the doubt. I know I’m wrong…”
Suresh didn’t react immediately. He stared straight ahead for a long moment before speaking, his voice calm but cutting.

Sneha… so you initiated sex because he was feeling bad and down, right?
Not out of sexual need or going against me?
its like you hurted him so you fixed him with sex or in your language consoling?!!

Sneha instantly nodded. “Yes"
but she realise the language and tone of Suresh.. a panic surged.

Suresh smiled — a cold, pained smile that didn’t reach his eyes.

“So that morning… what was my mood? Didn’t I feel bad and down?
What did you do to fix me? To console me? By having sex with him?”

The words hit Sneha like three hard slaps without him even touching her skin.
She felt her throat tighten, tears welling up instantly.

Suresh continued, voice steady but heavy with hurt.

“What effort did you make to console your husband?

He stared straight ahead for a long moment before speaking, his voice calm but cutting.

Okay, let it be.

Lets say, I have overthought about my suspicion…

but did you really spend a minute to read what im feeling inside, what mental turmoil i'm into..

A week back..
I’m disturbed with the thought that he is playing both of us.

then i accidentally figured out
You have already manipulated me with him over the rules.

I tried a way to sort out by speaking with you openly..
two days back i spoke with you...
I openly admitted that I have a doubt,
But what did you do? you still became more into your sexual game with him.

I don’t know what to name this.
You know what my mood will be now, what I will be thinking like any husband whose wife is not on the same level of expectation.

He paused, voice growing heavier.

See honestly i didn't expect a husband - wife bond these days..

the least i expected is i Just wanted to see if you will see yourself in my shoes for once.
What if my claims have truth in them?

Let me be clear with you, I have a lot to share with you… but I still don’t want to hurt you.
That’s where my love is.

But yours…the love... I could not see it anywhere.
Do I even exist as a husband in your eyes anymore?”

It’s fully towards Gowtham, your lover.

Or you declaring to me that Gowtham is your Husband
and I'm a CUCK for you and your LOVER?

Sneha caught his shirt desperately, eyes wide with shock.
“What did you say? I didn’t love him.
It was always you… It’s just physical pleasure.
If you want, I can stop it right away. That’s your wish.
Remember my sex life with him started with your wish too

Suresh looked at her for a long moment, then gently removed her hand from his shirt.

See, I don’t expect anything from you as a husband.
But I wish if you could see yourself in my shoes and doubt him once.
Even if not for our relationship… it will at least save you from belief of something on Gowtham.

Suresh turned and started jogging away without another word, leaving her standing alone on the stone slab as the first rays of sunrise touched the park.

Mmmm… my brain is officially fried. I don’t think this is working anymore. WTF — he’s a grown man, right? Why can’t he just stand up and claim his own wife? This whole chapter is melting my brain with lame excuses.

This doesn’t even sound like a husband-wife conversation — it feels fake and forced. Why is he begging her like he has no dignity? And why is she sulking over that bastard instead of fixing her own marriage? Honestly, this is just frustrating to read.

Last episode was a mistake...no wife would have sex after husband has doubts on the person he initially chose for her to have sex....Esp when few chapters back she was trying to find out why he is keeping his distance and completely avoided Gautham at that time, she clearly showed us that Suresh was everything to her and that changed in 2 episodes with no plot added. Now knowing that Suresh is not fine with their affair and do not trust Gautham anymore, naturally she would not initiate sex at all but here conveniently Suresh sleeps early and by the time Gautham comes home, she is ready for him lol

Now this chapter she is saying she initiated sex as he is feeling bad....and Suresh question is 100% right, she did not do anything to ease his doubts or pain. I can clearly see author chose to change Sneha's character for the worse to make her sinner instead of victim who she was from the beginning. Suresh doesn't have balls to kick Gautham out and openly call his wife to get the fuck inside and stop sleeping with Gautham, He can simply say If I initiated it now I am ending it........One sentence and there is no story anymore we get it, but this drama is never ending and frustrating between husband and wife. Nothing concrete comes out of it, bunch of useless conversations then they go their ways and do what they have been doing.

Unnecessary additional characters, Gautham new love interest is another boring leaf out of original tree and now gangsta plots emerging....

I agree it's frustrating to read these conversations. Suresh not moving on and staying in this ridiculous arrangement with the excuse of wanting a fast divorce is weird and Sneha becoming a slave to sex and making these fake attempts to connect with Suresh while delibrately ignoring the obvious of stopping her affair is also weird. I guess both of their intelligence matches for sure, so they should end up together.

There is some amount of love is still in the heart of suresh for sneha. Otherwise he will not speak like this. He understands there is a fault in his side too.
