Chapter 100 - New Doubt, New Dawn, New Story.

The early morning, when Suresh woke up at the regular time — 5:20 AM — he carefully got up, not wanting to wake Sneha. He gently lifted her arm from his chest and placed a pillow beneath her head so she could sleep comfortably. As he turned to leave the small bed, something made him pause.

Sneha was still fast asleep, lying on her side facing him. Her damp hair spread across the pillow and his shoulder, carrying the faint scent of soap and shampoo. The thin black nighty she wore had ridden up slightly, revealing the smooth skin of her thigh. But what caught his attention more were the faint red marks on her neck and the faint bite marks near her collarbone — marks that the nighty barely hid.

Suresh stood there for a long moment, staring at her peaceful face. Her breathing was deep and even, the kind that comes after complete exhaustion. He could still feel the slight dampness on her skin from the shower she had taken in the middle of the night. The realization hit him again — she had been with Gowtham, fucked thoroughly, cleaned herself, and then come to him.

A strange mix of emotions washed over him: disgust, sadness, a lingering trace of jealousy, and something almost like pity. Yet beneath it all was the cold resolve he had been building for weeks. But today he was confused — confused about what next?

He quietly changed into his track pants and t-shirt. The room was tiny, and he was standing close to the bed. As he was about to move, Sneha stirred and suddenly grabbed his hand.

“Where are you going…?” she asked in a sleepy, soft voice.

“As usual, for a walk in the morning.”

“Let me join you. Wait for a minute…” She rubbed her eyes and tried to sit up.
Suresh said gently, “No, you must be tired… have some sleep.”

The words hit her like a hammer. You must be tired? She immediately knew he was referring to last night’s marathon with Gowtham. She had surrendered completely to his demands, made a lot of noise, and come to Suresh only after a long shower.

She quickly shook her head. “No, I’m okay. I will join you. 
Wait for Two minutes… please”

Suresh nodded.


The Park and the Confrontation.

Sneha was actually weak. She could not walk properly. Last night’s marathon sex and less sleep had left her body sore and exhausted. A few minutes into walking, she felt really tired. Suresh noticed and led her to a stone slab in the park. He sat down and asked her to sit beside him.
The husband and wife now had a lot of things processed in their minds.

For Sneha, she still didn’t really know why Suresh felt like he was distancing himself — his rejection, sleeping separately. She was trying to read his mind… but she couldn’t.

For Suresh, he felt betrayal and wanted to withdraw, but things around him were getting complicated. The last day had changed everything. How would he inform her that he had joined a new company and was a core member, and that he must bring her and Ramya to the company function? But above all, the scariest part was his discovery.

Suresh lost himself in the memories of last night… Sitting on the slab, his mind drifted to last night 



Last night… As soon as he entered his room, he had pretended to work for a while, then started arranging the photos in order — the full folder he had copied from Gowtham’s mobile. Everything looked normal at first… But he figured out some closer clips of Gowtham and Sneha in the same scenario; too many takes. 

He realized they had acted together to make themselves look like they were getting seduced.

Suresh already knew this, but a suspicion arise, when he saw a screenshot of the birthday cake order made on the day of their arrival at the hill station. 

He remembers the day when they reached hill station, no  one had birthdays? they dont celebrate anything or met anyone,? then why did he ordered a cake on that day?

Suspicion rose, when he witnessed another screenshot in the gallery.

A Strange unease hit Suresh?!!!

An unavoidable doubt groomed in him.. That day if he had reached the room in time, Gowtham or Sneha wont have a slightest change to involve in a sexual relationship like today.. everything gone loose when we was kidnapped! That was a mistake, the persons who kidnapped him looks real... they took him for someone else! A mistake.. 

But money transfer on same day? at that hour? Strange.. 

Suresh found it very strange and unsettling.. as every minute passed, he is getting a feel like ... what if it was well planned?

What if Gowtham was the one behind his kidnapping? A preplanned to make it look like a casual mistake??.

He remembered how Gowtham promised him to tell a truth to Suresh the story behind the close image of him and senha, and in turn he had to watch him having sex with Sneha.. and after that Suresh obeyed and even stroked on seeing his wife and Gowtham having sex. but he never said the story, he kept luring him for more sessions.

Till today, Gowtham never said what was that story behind the images.. he had fooled him..

He also remembered the images of them before the hill station trip.

Suresh fell on the floor. He could not take it.

The probability that both husband and wife had been fooled by a young man kept haunting him. 
That was why, when she came to him last night, he had tightly embraced her.

While he was deep lost into that memory, a hand shook him and grabbed him to the present.


The Open Conversation


Sneha casually grabbed his hand and shook it. 


“What happened to you?
Why are you looking somewhere? 
you seemed distrubed?”

Suresh looked at her for a long moment. 

His mind is like couldn't handle the pressure anymore.. The breezy air, just two of them alone, 
He thought this was the right time to openly ask her..

He decided to open about his new work..

“I joined a new firm.”

Suresh shook his head. “No. It’s a prestigious group — V-Activate Group.

Sneha’s eyes widened. “What? Are you for real? You didn’t even say anything yesterday.. when you came home!…”
Suresh shook his head and said no.... “It happened almost like weeks ago…”

Sneha: “Why didn’t you say it then?”
Suresh (lying smoothly): “I was on probation. I didn’t want to disappoint you if I didn’t get it, 
so I decided to keep it quiet until I got full time…”
Sneha: “So you went in now…”

Suresh: “Yes. Next week we have a company gathering. I earned some good name..
The company invited us…”

Sneha was overjoyed. She just hugged him tightly, her arms wrapping around his neck. 
“You did it! I will come. Let’s go as a family.” She smiled brightly, her face glowing with genuine happiness.

Despite the mood, the smile.. and everything.. Suresh wanted to open up, the actual one which was keep bugging him.

Sneha understood that from the face, he had something else to tell?
Her face went stand still realising his face..

Suresh hesitated, then said yes.

Sneha looked at him, still smiling. Said “Ask…”

Suresh took a deep breath.

 “Do you hide anything from me? 
Like… you did something behind my back without my knowledge, for your some benefits or reasons?”

Sneha looked at him not very shockingly, because she expected it was coming... from his face reactions and hesitation...

She asked... “What is it about? Ask me directly, I will answer you honestly.. I Promise..”

For few weeks you have been distant with me, if i can clear things i will be happy and good for our relation.. Just be open with me.. I promise i will answer honestly..

Suresh looked at her and began

“Let me be open. A week back, I mistakenly took your mobile. 
I promise it was a mistake. 

When i opened the WhatsApp, Gowtham’s message was recent one, i don't remember sending any message that previous day so on curiosity i opened it.. I till that moment thought it was my mobile.... Our mobiles look the same. When I opened and looked at the chats, I discovered you had dictated exactly what Gowtham wanted on the rule-setting day…”

Sneha suddenly felt a sharp ping of pain.

The moment she heared She laughed...

But she valued Suresh higher than anything. She felt it was her duty to clarify the doubt in him.
She said, “If this is what is bugging you, let’s ask him. Let’s confront him. I’m with you…”





The word gave him relief, he was waiting for it… but he was worried and disappointed by the way she tried to find reasons to safeguard Gowtham.


Yet somewhere he was alarmed too.. asking him straight without concrete proof will make Gowtham to erase the proofs. 

He decided to play cool as always.. and go behind for solid proofs!

He said.. No Sneha, i will have my doubts, its reasonable.. asking him straight will alert him, he may erase proofs. 

Sneha said.. Sorry Suresh I'm sure you are over thinking.. Look are you jealous about I'm being with him at nights?

Suresh looked at her and said, “I’m not jealous. I’m just alarming you… I want you to be aware of your surroundings.”
I want truth before anything.. 


Looking at how she was defending his actions and dismissing the big claim…

Suresh decided not to speak with her about this subject until she herself saw Gowtham’s sinister plan. He decided to silently enquire further.

While Suresh had opened his heart out, he was still pained by Sneha’s dismissive nature. She hadn’t outrightly rejected his doubts, but her immediate defense of Gowtham left a bitter taste in his mouth. 

However Inside Sneha's head, Suresh’s words had planted a small, uncomfortable seed of doubt.

When they returned home, Suresh went straight into the guest room and locked the door, before asking Sneha to prepare Breakfast soon. 

Sneha stood in the hall for a moment, staring at the closed door, her mind replaying everything he had said.

She walked into the master bedroom. Gowtham was already awake, lying on the bed shirtless, scrolling through his phone. The moment he saw her, a hungry smile spread across his face.

He pulled her onto the bed and started kissing her neck. “Finally… I’ve been waiting for you.”

Sneha tried to respond. She kissed him back, but Suresh’s words kept ringing in her ears — What if Gowtham is fooling both of us? What if he was behind the kidnapping?

Gowtham’s hands roamed her body, pulling at her clothes. He lift her to Shower, He said baby, lets have shower sex like previous day..

He is going to show the reports of poor performances of the people. Especially Varsha.  He doesn't care who she is, earlier he wanted to know about her. But now, he started hating her stubborn nature. Resilience 

He conducted another surprise test and deliberately sabotaged her system when no one was looking — unplugging her monitor cable and causing repeated technical issues. He made sure she struggled visibly in front of the entire batch. 

Later, he quietly included her poor performance in the official trainee assessment, marking her as “unfocused and underprepared.”

When the results were shared, Varsha’s eyes welled up with tears. She bit her lip hard, refusing to cry in front of everyone. She remained determined, clenching her fists under the table. 

In the afternoon, Gowtham cornered her in the empty pantry section on the rooftop.

He showed her the assessment report with a mocking smile. “Look at this. Only two will get selected. Guess who’s not making it?”

Varsha’s eyes filled with tears again, but she refused to let them fall. 
Gowtham stepped closer, enjoying her humiliation, his ego finally satisfied after the morning rejection from Sneha.

In the evening, Gowtham went to submit the final trainee assessments to his boss, eager to ensure Varsha was eliminated.
