Chapter 100: The Detachment
Rahul sat beside Anandhi on the bed that night, gently rubbing her back as she cried silently after Suriya was taken away by the security officer.
“Anandhi… listen to me,” he said in a calm, soothing voice. “Suriya was not careful in the business. That’s why he is facing all this. I was managing things remotely, guiding him at every step, but he became overconfident. He spoiled his own reputation. Now, as an entity, we have no choice but to detach his unit. It’s a policy matter. Neither I nor Madhavan wanted it to come to this. When he gets out of prison, we’ll figure out how we can help him.”
Anandhi couldn’t really hear what Rahul was saying. His words felt distant, rehearsed, and cold. Her doubt had grown into something much heavier. She hated how Rahul had turned so calculated and ruthless… yet she still loved him. The contradiction tore at her.
She suddenly looked up at him, her eyes red but voice strong.
“Did you or Madhavan have anything to do with this?”
Rahul didn’t flinch. His expression remained steady. “No. I had no idea it would go this far.”
Anandhi stared at him for a long moment. Her doubt had multiplied. She took a deep breath and spoke clearly.
“See, I will never hate you. But if you are doing all this because you feel he might take me away… I promise you, I’m telling you clearly — I won’t slip. I chose you.”
Rahul’s face hardened. He shut her down sharply.
“No. You have to trust me.”
The conversation ended there, hanging heavy in the air.
The next morning, Rohan came running again with another newspaper.
“Amma! Appa, Periyappa, and Madhavan Thatha’s photos are in the paper!”
Anandhi took the newspaper with trembling hands. It carried a public announcement from RMS Enterprises:
“We hereby announce the complete detachment of Suriya’s fitness vertical from RMS Group. Recent events have revealed multiple fraudulent activities committed by Mr. Suriya. As responsible partners, we have decided to sever all associations with immediate effect. These are three independent entities, and RMS Group has no involvement in the ongoing cases. We cannot comment further as the matter is sub-judice. Our partners cannot afford to go cheap. We hope justice prevails and Mr. Suriya comes out clean.”
The statement was carefully worded — safe, professional, and advised by Madhavan to avoid any enmity or legal backlash.
Anandhi was shaken to her core.
As days turned into weeks and then months, there was no further news about Suriya. The cases dragged on slowly. Five months passed in painful silence. No updates. No visits. Nothing.
On AaRa’s first birthday, the family took photos together — smiling, laughing, looking like the perfect unit. That night, after everyone slept, Anandhi sat alone in the dark bedroom, holding AaRa’s photo, and cried bitterly.
“I’m so sorry, Suriya…” she whispered through her tears. “I’m so sorry…”
Rahul, who had woken up, noticed her crying. He sat up and pulled her into his arms, but his voice carried a sharp edge.
“Enough, Anandhi. Leave his thoughts. He is gone for good.”
The business the issue, he reaps what he sows.
She remained silent.
Rahul continued, his tone firmer, “I had no part in any of this. You have to believe me.”
Anandhi didn’t argue. She simply nodded, wiping her tears.
But deep inside, she knew the truth was far more complicated than Rahul wanted her to believe.
And the guilt of staying silent — of choosing peace over justice — was slowly eating her alive.

Chapter 101: The Hidden Fear
One month had passed since Suriya was taken away.
Rahul had slowly brought Anandhi and AaRa back into their old rhythm. Their sexual life had returned a month earlier — intense, possessive, and filled with the relief of obstacles finally removed. With Suriya gone, Rahul felt like he could finally breathe his lifeline again. He held Anandhi closer at night, as if afraid she might slip away.
That afternoon, AaRa developed a mild fever. Rahul immediately took both of them to the hospital. Madhavan had also come to meet his friend, Dr. Priya Menon.
After the initial check-up, Rahul told Anandhi, “I need to speak with Madhavan for a few minutes. Once you’re done with the doctor, take an auto and go home with AaRa. I’ll join you soon.”
Anandhi nodded quietly and went inside with the baby.
Rahul and Madhavan met near the lobby, then moved to a relatively secluded corner behind some potted plants for privacy.
“Finally, you got what you wanted,” Madhavan said with a slight smile. “Suriya is completely out of your family.”
Rahul nodded. “Yes.”
Madhavan continued, “Your plan worked perfectly. If not, Suriya would have claimed the child and might even have pushed Anandhi for marriage again.”
Rahul stayed silent for a moment, then said, “I never wanted it to go this far. I just wanted to ruin his name so he wouldn’t come back to my family. But you… you made it worse. Now he’s in prison, facing serious legal troubles, and I had to take the house back too. It was a harsh decision, but I had no choice. I cannot think of a single day without Anandhi. She has doubts about me… it hurts. I want to fall at her feet and beg for forgiveness, but I’m terrified. The moment she thinks I’m at fault — that I’m the wrongdoer — I’ll be finished forever, I will look cheap before her eyes.
This truth must remain a secret forever. That Suriya is the real father… and that both of us were behind his downfall.”
A soft rustling sound came from behind a large potted plant and some leaves near the lobby.
Rahul’s heart jumped. “Did someone hear me?”
He quickly walked over and looked around the corner. No one was there. He waited a few minutes, scanning the area. Patients were moving about, but nothing seemed suspicious.
“What if Anandhi heard this?” he thought, panic rising in his chest.
He hurried back to the doctor’s room, only to find that Anandhi had already left with AaRa.
Madhavan tried to calm him. “It must have been the wind. The pot and leaves just shook. There was no one there.”
But Rahul’s heart refused to settle. After thirty minutes of growing unease, he excused himself from Madhavan and rushed home.
When he reached the house, neither Anandhi nor AaRa was there.
He waited for hours, panic building with every passing minute. He dialled her mobile repeatedly, but it was switched off. He drove around the city — to the hospital, to Rohan and Riya’s college — but found no trace of them.
In desperation, he even went to the prison and asked for permission to meet Suriya, only to be told it was not a visiting day. That gave him a strange sense of relief.
When he finally returned home late in the evening, he found a visibly tired and worried Anandhi sitting on the sofa with AaRa sleeping peacefully in her arms.
“Where were you?” Rahul rushed to her, voice thick with fear. “Why are you so late? Where is AaRa?”
He ran into the room to check on the baby, he calmed after seeing her sleeping peacefully.
Then came back and held Anandhi’s shoulders.
“What happened? Why is your face like this?”
Anandhi looked down and slowly pulled the collar of her blouse aside, revealing a red mark on her neck.
“A thief snatched my gold chain while I was coming out of the hospital,” she said quietly. “I chased him for a long time but couldn’t catch him. My old principal’s daughter, you know right, the cop helped me. we field a case.. She dropped me and AaRa home.”
Rahul let out a long breath. “I was so panicked. I thought something else had happened and you left me in rage.
You know what? After you left the hospital, I came straight home. I couldn’t breathe properly.”
Anandhi looked at him with tired eyes and asked softly, “What made you rush back so suddenly? Why couldn’t you breathe?”
Why do i need to leave you in rage?
Rahul froze for a second. He feared that Anandhi might have overheard his conversation with Madhavan. but looked like she had no idea..
He quickly dragged the topic away.
“Nothing… just worry for you and AaRa.”
I mean i left you both in hospital to chat i thought you are angry on me for that.
Rahul didnt expect , Anandhi suddenly rushed to him hugged him tightly.
“Sorry… I made you worry. I made your breathing uneven. I made everyone’s life suffer…”
Rahul couldn’t fully understand what she meant. He just held her closer. He assumed she got worried knowing i have to search for her everywhere.
That night, the room was lit only by the soft glow of the night lamp. Anandhi lay in Rahul’s arms, her head resting on his chest. The silence between them felt heavier than usual, filled with things neither dared to speak.
Rahul begins, you know what i felt like i died, the moment i realise i could not find you anywhere, your mobile is switched off, you scared me.
Rahul tilted her chin up gently and kissed her — slow, deep, almost desperate. Anandhi responded, her fingers threading through his hair, pulling him closer. The kiss deepened, turning into something more urgent, more emotional.
They undressed each other without words. Rahul’s hands moved over her body with familiar possessiveness, but tonight there was a trembling tenderness in his touch. Anandhi’s breath hitched as he entered her slowly, carefully, protected and gentle. She wrapped her legs around him, holding him as if afraid to let go.
As their bodies moved together in a slow, steady rhythm, tears slipped from Anandhi’s eyes. She buried her face in his neck, crying silently while he thrust into her with deep, loving strokes. Rahul felt her tears on his skin and his own eyes stung. He pressed his forehead to hers, his movements becoming slower, more intimate, as if trying to pour every unsaid word into her.
They cried together — quiet, broken sobs mixed with soft gasps and moans — without ever speaking the reasons. Anandhi cried because she knew the full truth of what he had done, she heard all the truth from his own mouth. yet she couldn’t bring herself to confront him be cause she feared it could cause him pain. She just wanted him to live the same way like i never know his darker side, i dont want to cause the pain. Rahul cried because he feared she might one day discover his darker side, and the guilt of hiding it from her was crushing him.
In that moment, their bodies and tears became the only language they allowed themselves. The sex was not just physical — it was their way of clinging to each other, of silently forgiving and being forgiven without naming the wounds.
When they finally reached their peak together, they held each other tightly, bodies trembling, tears still flowing.
Rahul whispered against her hair, “I love you… more than anything.”
Anandhi only hugged him tighter, her heart aching with everything she could not say.
she whispered i will protect your love, pride and everything that's important for me.
They fell asleep like that — wrapped in each other, secrets still hidden, but connected through the only thing that still felt safe: their love.

Author is the real villain. why do you hate suriya so much?
you steal anandhi from him at right time. You made Rahul re enter their life.
You managed to make him unaware that he is the father of the child
worst of all Rahul made him transfer the house to Aanandhi
you also made anandhi mercilessy side Rahul even after she knows the truth
So she is selfish as well, she didnt care about Suriya, things rahul and madhavan done to Suriya
she just wanted to protect Rahul. Shit
Need justice for Suriya, he should claim everything he lost. he needs to come back, fuck Anandhi right before Rahul, put a fight ... take back his house. he should beat rahul the wimp.

Chapter 102: The Expo
An Year Later... It was AaRa’s second birthday.
Rahul had planned a grand celebration in Mumbai. The family flew down together — Rahul, Anandhi, Rohan, Riya, and little AaRa. Life had become significantly lighter for Rahul. The business was stable, debts were under control, and the constant shadow of Suriya had finally faded from his mind. He felt burdenless for the first time in years.
Anandhi, on the other hand, had spent the last two years running behind AaRa — sleepless nights, unpredictable feeding schedules, and constant care. Now that AaRa was sleeping through the night and following a proper routine, Anandhi finally felt a quiet sense of relief. She had returned to being the calm, composed wife Rahul loved.
Madhavan had arranged a luxurious stay for them in a premium serviced apartment. While settling in, Anandhi looked around the elegant space and recalled how Madhavan had once searched desperately for “Jeeva” — the young man who looked exactly like Rahul in his prime. She still didn’t know that Jeeva and Rahul were the same person.
Rahul noticed her thoughtful expression and teased her with a playful smile.
“You still don’t look like a 33-year-old, you know. You look 25. Let’s leave the kids with Madhavan for a few hours and go for a proper date tonight — just you and me, romantic dinner, long drive… maybe even a night away.”
Anandhi smiled softly and nudged him. “Behave. The kids are right here.”
They both laughed, the moment light and warm.
Later that evening, Madhavan arrived with specially cooked South Indian food. After dinner, Anandhi took the children to bed. Once they were asleep, the conversation between the two men naturally turned to business.
Rahul sighed. “The business has been dull for almost a year now. Its adequate for now but declining. We don’t have our own gym studios anymore. We’re just supplying to others.”
Madhavan nodded. “Exactly. Earlier we had our own unit. Now we’re only offering services and products. It’s limiting our growth.”
Rahul added, “I tried partnering with a few gyms, but they’re placing other products. We’re just one among eleven. And the IT solutions side is dying — everyone says AI has replaced customized software.”
Just then, Rahul’s phone rang. It was his subordinate, Madhan.
“Sir, there’s a big Fitness Expo happening in Mumbai tomorrow. A lot of new gym outlets are participating. I’ve shortlisted a few promising ones — KKE Enterprises, SAN Fitness, and XMAN Gym. These are new players looking for similar partnership models. Especially SAN Fitness — they started just six months back and already have 10–15 branches. They’re looking for IT modules and supplement suppliers.”
Madhavan looked impressed. “Ten to fifteen branches in six months? That’s serious dedication.”
Rahul’s mind flashed back to Suriya — how he had pushed him to open 3–4 branches in four months and then three more franchises. For a brief second, both Rahul and Madhavan remembered the old days, but neither spoke about it. The vengeance and revenge had spoiled what could have been a top-tier empire. They both knew it, but kept quiet.
Madhan continued, “XMAN is very new, sir. They recently closed one branch due to poor maintenance. SAN Fitness has a manager named Xavier — 10 years in the industry. KKE is asking for the cheapest price. You’ll meet all of them at the expo tomorrow. Try to focus on SAN or XMAN.”
Rahul nodded. “We might need to take a loan if things don’t improve after the expo. Otherwise, we’ll have to rethink our entire strategy.”
The next day, the entire family, including the kids, went to the Expo.
Madhan met them at the entrance and introduced the representatives from KKE, SAN Fitness, and XMAN.
Rahul quickly eliminated KKE — their terms were ridiculous. He focused his pitch on XMAN and SAN Fitness.
Xavier from SAN Fitness was clearly impressed by Rahul’s proposal. During the conversation, he casually mentioned, “The area where your current operations are located has no good gym right now. My previous partner had a gym there but gave it up on lease. Now that gym has also closed for unknown reasons.”
Xavier smiled. “If that’s the case, let’s open one there. You procure the land or get a good shop for rent — we’ll pay upfront. We can work on partnership remuneration.”
Rahul liked the straightforward approach. Several competitors were already showing interest in SAN Fitness. He hoped onboarding them would secure a better future. SAN was currently working with several industry leaders, and Rahul aimed for them to take at least five new branches per year under partnership.
While the men discussed business, Anandhi wandered around with the children, looking at colorful posters and demo equipment.
Suddenly, Rohan tugged at her hand.
“Amma! Appa!”
Anandhi smiled. “Your Appa is right here, see — he’s speaking with the uncle.”
Rohan shook his head. “No… Suriya Appa.”
Anandhi froze. Her heart skipped a beat. Her eyes rapidly scanned the crowded hall, searching desperately for any sign of him.
After a few tense seconds, she asked, trying to sound casual, “Did you see him somewhere?”
Rohan shrugged. “No Amma… I saw Suriya Appa in the paper once.”
Anandhi let out a shaky breath and relaxed her shoulders. It must be an old newspaper. Or the kids misunderstood.
But her heart continued to race. Her face dropped suddenly.
Rahul, who had just finished his meeting, noticed immediately and walked over.
“What happened?” he asked, concerned.
Anandhi forced a small smile. “Nothing.”
Rohan and Riya ran off to a colorful car module nearby. The children quickly forgot the moment.
But Anandhi’s mind refused to forget.
The name “Suriya” — which she had tried so hard to bury — had resurfaced, bringing back a flood of memories, guilt, and unspoken longing.

Chapter 103: The Storm Before the Door
Anandhi’s mind had been a quiet storm ever since the Mumbai trip.
The second birthday celebration of AaRa, the Expo, the laughter, the family photos — everything looked perfect on the outside. But inside her, the single word “Suriya Appa” from Rohan kept echoing like a warning she couldn’t silence. She had come back to their normal life, playing the perfect wife, taking care of the children, and giving Rahul the warmth he craved. Yet every night, when she closed her eyes, the guilt and fear refused to leave.
Rahul, on the other hand, was riding high. He was impressed by how professionally Xavier and the SAN Fitness team had approached him at the Expo. For the first time in a long while, he felt truly burdenless.
The morning after they returned, Rahul was casually checking classifieds on his laptop when something caught his eye. SAN Fitness had released a big advertisement calling for franchise partners. They planned to open 25 new branches and franchise 50 locations across multiple states. Right below it was another ad from XMAN Gym — both looked like serious competitors.
He remembered Xavier’s words at the Expo: “The area where you are has no proper gym right now. If you can arrange a good location, we can pay upfront.”
Rahul immediately dialled Xavier.
“Xavier, I have a perfect location in mind for a new branch or franchise. Let’s discuss.”
Xavier was polite but firm. “Please communicate properly through mail and fix an appointment. We don’t entertain direct phone calls for proposals.”
Anandhi, who was nearby folding clothes, overheard and gently warned him, “You are an IT person. You don’t have deep knowledge in gym equipment or operations. Don’t enter this blindly.”
Rahul smiled confidently. “Trust me. If they approach, I’ll just give advice on IT and supplements — the part where we are already partnered with Madhavan. That’s safe.”
Anandhi nodded, but her eyes carried quiet worry.
Following week, Rahul sent a detailed proposal. SAN Fitness received a huge list of enquiries, so they decided to go for a public bid. Prices were sealed and submitted. Ten participants would be selected based on the best quote, and the results would be openly displayed in a magazine.
Madhavan helped Rahul prepare the documents.
Another week passed. The magazine arrived.
Rahul’s company was among the six shortlisted. SAN Fitness allocated them 3 existing branches, one new branch, and one franchise. The franchise cost looked high, but the potential was massive.
SAN Fitness had arranged an investors and partners meet in Chennai. Rahul decided to turn it into a short family trip, matching the welcome ceremony.
The week came. They reached Chennai a day before the ceremony.
Rahul went to enquire about SAN Fitness. Xavier met him in a cabin and expressed happiness at the partnership. Rahul was eager to sign as soon as possible.
Xavier brought out the preliminary agreements. Rahul and Madhavan signed them. Two more investors and partners signed the same day. Everyone was super confident.
Xavier explained the bid process in detail and showed all the data. “Further commercials will be shared by the actual owner tomorrow. He is in the UK right now and will be back tomorrow. Hoping for a great partnership ahead.”
Back in the hotel room, Anandhi seemed lost in thoughts. Ever since Rohan had said “Suriya Appa” at the Expo, a quiet fear had settled in her heart. What if he is still around us somewhere? What if he knows that my husband was the reason for his downfall?
She picked up the welcome ceremony invite and read the list of participants. Among the names on the partner side, she saw Rahul and Madhavan. But her eyes also caught 2–3 entries with the name “Suriya.” under franchise participants.
Her heart raced.
What if Suriya is following us all the way for revenge or something? What if he is already here and we have no idea?
While she was lost in these thoughts, there was a knock on the door — three firm knocks, then a pause, then three more.
It was unusual. Something about the rhythm made her uneasy.
She walked to the door slowly, her pulse quickening. She hesitated for a second, then opened it.
She was shocked.

Chapter 103: The Door and the Shadow
The knock on the door came again — three firm raps, a pause, then three more.
Anandhi’s heart hammered. She walked slowly toward the door, her hand trembling slightly as she turned the knob.
The moment the door opened, little AaRa, who had been toddling behind her, lost her balance and fell forward onto the carpeted floor. A sharp cry pierced the air as the baby scbangd her knee and elbow, tiny drops of blood appearing on her soft skin.
Rohan and Riya rushed in from the balcony where they had been playing. “AaRa!” they shouted, quickly lifting their little sister. AaRa wailed loudly, her face red with shock and pain.
Anandhi dropped to her knees instantly, taking the baby into her arms. As she wiped the blood with a tissue, her mind flashed violently back to the hospital — Madhavan’s announcement of AB+, the later report showing A+, the cold calculation behind it all.
Blood… lies about blood…
A wave of panic crashed over her.
What if Suriya comes back one day to take AaRa? My sweet daughter… What if he tries to take everything from my family?
Her hands shook as she comforted the crying baby. Rahul, hearing the commotion, came rushing from the other room and helped calm AaRa. But Anandhi’s fear had already taken root deeper than before.
The next morning, AaRa was back to her cheerful self, playing happily with her mother. Anandhi stood in front of the mirror, confused about which saree to wear for the SAN Fitness welcome ceremony and investor meet. She had narrowed it down to two options when AaRa, with her tiny hands, pushed one of them forward — a soft creamy saree with delicate gold borders.
Anandhi’s breath caught.
This was the exact shade Suriya had always complimented her on. The memory hit her like a quiet storm. Because her little daughter had chosen it so innocently, she wore it without further thought.
Rahul got ready, looking sharp and confident. The children were left with the caretaker. As they left for the venue, Rahul kissed Anandhi’s forehead. “Today is going to be big for us.”
The venue was grand — a massive convention hall filled with posters of celebrities and big shots from the fitness industry. Rahul was visibly impressed. “Look at this scale. Even an ex-superintendent of security officer is one of the investors. This SAN Fitness is playing in a different league.”
Xavier welcomed them warmly but was constantly surrounded by VIPs. The crowd was larger and more elite than Rahul had expected. In his mind, he already felt settled — the financial struggles of the past seemed finally behind him.
For Anandhi, it was different.
She was restless, her eyes constantly scanning the hall, searching every corner, every face. What if Suriya is here somewhere… watching us… spying on us? What if he attacks us when we least expect it?
The seating was arranged meticulously: SAN Fitness core team and MVIPs in the first row, VIPs in the next two, main partners and new partners in the sixth row. Rahul and Anandhi were seated in the sixth row, right behind the other partners. A noticeable gap separated them from the franchise participants and general attendees behind.
Anandhi kept glancing toward that area, chair by chair, looking for any trace of Suriya.
The speeches began. The ex-superintendent gave a powerful talk, praising the founder of SAN Fitness for his vision and rapid growth. “In just months, he has delivered returns I never expected,” the speaker said.
Anandhi barely listened. Her eyes kept darting sideways, searching for any familiar silhouette.
She strangely sensed like someone is watchin them, following them and it came from back, she was so sure.
Rahul noticed her uneasiness and leaned in. “What is it?”
“Nothing,” she whispered, forcing a smile.
She quietly took out her phone and video-called the caretaker, asking her to keep the phone on live so she could watch the children.
Speaker after speaker came and went. Then came the award segment for best performers and partners.
Name after name was called. Anandhi’s felt unease.
Suddenly, the announcer said, “Suriya Prakash…”
Anandhi stiffened. But the man who stood up was someone else — a different Suriya.
She exhaled shakily.
A few minutes later, she noticed a shadow standing still behind one of the large decorative pillars near the back. Someone was watching their row. She could feel the gaze. Her pulse spiked. She leaned forward, trying to get a better look.
The shadow shifted — it was just a waiter adjusting a flower arrangement.
She exhaled shakily and looked down at her lap, trying to calm herself.
The speeches were winding down. The final announcement was about to be made.
Something flew behind her, and she noticed something on floor. It was a paper, she was curious, it probably came from back.
Anandhi turned slightly in her seat again, scanning the rows behind them one last time. She told herself this was the last check. If she didn’t see anything now, she would try to relax.
She could nt check properly she tried to turn back, Rahul hand touched her thigh asking to turn. but she kept looking back .
The announcer’s voice rang loud and clear through the hall:
“And now, the moment we’ve all been waiting for… Welcoming the Founder, the Visionary, and the driving force behind SAN Fitness… Mr. Suriya!”
The crowd erupted in applause.
Anandhi’s head snapped toward the stage, expecting an aged man to give a boring speech.
And froze.
It was him.
Suriya — dressed in a sharp black suit, standing tall and confident, looking every bit the successful businessman. His eyes swept across the audience with calm authority.
Anandhi’s world tilted.
He was here.
SURIYAA is here

I went to movies of Super Stars on the first day .. paper confetti , whistles deafening the ears, screams tearing up the air and then the BGM hits .. shot by shot the Star is introduced. Everything blurs out. The trance and the aura is on an other level, forgetting yourself lost in the moment of bliss. I thought nothing can beat that experience. I was wrong until I read your story. Wow ! Wow ! Wow ! Thank you for an absolute surreal experience.

Chapter 104: The Speech
The applause thundered through the grand hall as Suriya stepped onto the stage.
Rahul’s face drained of color. Madhavan stiffened beside him. Anandhi sat frozen, her breath caught in her throat. The same man they had pushed into prison, the same man they had tried to erase from their lives, now stood before them as the founder of SAN Fitness — confident, successful, and commanding the entire room.
An instant, icy fear gripped all three of them.
How is he here?
He was supposed to be broken… destroyed…
And now we are about to do business with him?
Their egos turned to ash in seconds. The man they had looked down on, the man they had tried to bury, was now towering above them. Doubts flooded their minds. Rahul’s hands turned cold. Madhavan’s usual calm cracked. Anandhi felt her heart hammering so hard she feared it would burst.
Suriya smiled at the crowd, calm and composed. He waited for the applause to settle before speaking, his voice clear and steady through the microphone.
“Thank you. Thank you all for being here today.”
He scanned the audience slowly, his eyes eventually landing on the sixth row — on Rahul, Madhavan, and Anandhi.
“Let me introduce myself properly. Many of you may have read the news about me a year ago. I was called a fraudster. A money launderer. A fake businessman. My name and photo were splashed across newspapers. At that time, I truly believed I had lost everything. I thought my life was over.”
He paused, letting the words sink in. The hall was pin-drop silent.
“I made mistakes. Careless mistakes. No one tricked me. No one imposed schemes on me. I walked into trouble with my own overconfidence. When I was arrested, people inside prison laughed at me. They said, ‘A man accused of fraud can never get investors again. No bank will ever trust you.’”
Suriya’s gaze swept across the audience once more.
“But I refused to stay broken. I kept talking about business even behind bars. One man listened — the respected ex-superintendent of security officer who is here with us today. He heard my ideas, trusted me, and when I came out, he gave me a chance. He leased a small gym and let me manage it for a month. That was all I needed. In the second month, he invested in me. From there, we grew to 15 branches in just six months — all owned, no franchises. Today, large companies are flying in to partner with us.”
He turned slightly toward the ex-superintendent and gave a respectful nod.
“But before I thank anyone else, I must acknowledge the real foundation of this journey. The actual model and idea behind SAN Fitness came from two people who shaped me — Dr. Madhavan and his friend, Rahul. I learned discipline, systems, and vision from them. They are my family friends. When I was at my lowest, I didn’t want to stand before them. I didn’t want to bring any trouble into their lives because of my presence. So I made a promise to myself — I would prove myself first. I would shine again before I asked for any opportunity.”
Suriya’s voice softened with genuine emotion.
“God’s grace brought us here today. I wanted to meet them as soon as i return from UK. but They are already with me, ready to partner and grow together. Until this morning i never knew they are partnering with my company. Congratulations to Rahul and Dr. Madhavan. Thank you for believing in the vision even when I couldn’t stand in front of you. I read the public notice then i was in prision, thanks to you too for trusting even then. That trust on me i could understand how my mistake would have costed both of you.. Here This success is also yours.”
The hall erupted in warm, respectful applause.
Rahul, Madhavan, and Anandhi sat stunned.
The fear that had gripped them moments ago began to dissolve. Suriya’s speech was humble, grateful, and full of respect. He had painted himself as a man who had fallen, learned from his mistakes, and risen stronger — crediting them publicly instead of blaming them.
Rahul’s shoulders slowly relaxed. A quiet pride replaced his panic. I wanted to push him away, punish him but he still looks up to me. His mind is not filled with revenge, his mind is filled with business.
Madhavan exhaled slowly, his usual composure returning. The speech had been kind - disarming every suspicion. He felt he should have protected him.
Anandhi’s heart was still racing, but even she felt the tension ease slightly. Suriya had not exposed them. He had not attacked. He had lifted them up in front of everyone. For a moment, she almost believed he had truly moved on.
Suriya stepped back from the microphone as the applause continued, his eyes briefly meeting Anandhi’s across the hall.
In that single glance, something passed between them — something only she could feel.
The fear in her chest did not disappear.
It simply changed shape.

Anandhi needs to end up with Suriya - Rahul went too far , Suriya has to win from here and conquer Anandhi in front of Rahul

Chapter 104: The Speech (Q&A Session)
After Suriya’s powerful opening speech, the moderator opened the floor for questions. The hall buzzed with anticipation as hands shot up.
Question 1:
A young entrepreneur stood up. “Sir, what do you think is the biggest reason behind the success of your branches in such a short time?”
Suriya smiled humbly.
“I didn’t delegate the foundation. From setting up the first gym to finishing the last nail, I was personally involved in every single branch. I didn’t hand it over to anyone. I applied the same discipline and systems I learned at RMS Enterprises. So the real credit goes to Dr. Madhavan and Rahul sir. They taught me how to build, not just manage.”
Question 2:
Another reporter asked, “Your pricing module is surprisingly affordable compared to other big players. How are you managing that without compromising quality?”
Suriya nodded thoughtfully.
“It’s the same combined model we followed at RMS — IT solutions, quality supplements, and equipment working together. When everything is integrated, costs come down naturally. Plus, I believe fitness is not just business. It’s social care. Everyone deserves to be healthy. I focus on volume and long-term relationships rather than squeezing maximum profit from each customer.”
Question 3:
A woman journalist smiled curiously. “What does SAN stand for? Is the ‘S’ for Suriya and ‘A’ for… ?”
The entire hall chuckled lightly, but Rahul and Anandhi went rigid. Anandhi’s heart slammed against her ribs. Is he still holding on to me? Has he not moved on?
Suriya laughed softly, completely at ease.
“No, no. SAN is actually a Japanese suffix I came across while procuring equipment in Japan. It’s gender-neutral — used for both men and women. I wanted a name that felt inclusive, without any Mr. or Mrs. bias. So I kept ‘SAN’. The ‘S’ is not for Suriya. It’s for everyone who walks into our gyms.”
The tension in Rahul and Anandhi eased slightly, but Anandhi still felt a strange ache in her chest.
Question 4:
“Why did you settle in the UK for some time?”
Suriya shook his head.
“I wasn’t settled there. I was learning new equipment models and training systems. My goal is clear — before next year, I want to set up 100 owned branches and 250 franchises across India. The UK trip was purely for knowledge.”
Question 5:
A senior journalist asked directly, “What happened to the legal case against you? Did you come out clean?”
Suriya’s expression turned serious but composed.
“Yes, I came out clean. The suppliers had cheated me. They promised one quality of material but supplied something inferior. They cheated many direct buyers too, but because I was the mediator for the franchises, the responsibility fell on me. The case is now resolved. Justice has been served.”
Question 6:
A bold female reporter stood up with a playful smile. “Are you married or single, Mr. Suriya?”
The crowd laughed. Suriya grinned.
“I’m married to my goal… and happily single in operation.”
The entire hall burst into loud laughter and applause.
Question 7:
“Will you be staying in India permanently now?”
“Yes,” Suriya replied confidently. “I’m going to set up 50 more franchises and 20 new owned branches in addition to what we already have. I will first visit my hometown and other key areas to understand ground realities.”
Question 8:
“What else can we expect from you in the coming days?”
Suriya smiled mischievously.
“In about ten minutes, you can expect some excellent biryani on the third floor.” Rest i will update you... Lets live for the moment, no need to live for some uncertainties.
The crowd roared with laughter again.
The Q&A ended on a light, positive note. Suriya had answered every question with humility, gratitude, and quiet confidence. To the audience, he appeared as a man who had fallen, learned, and risen stronger — someone who deserved respect.
But for Anandhi, every word felt like a carefully placed blade.
As the session concluded, Xavier announced, “All partners, VIPs, and special invitees are requested to join us on the third floor for the meet-and-greet and dinner.”
Suriya waved politely toward Rahul, Madhavan, and Anandhi’s row, gesturing for them to come up.
He was escorted by the ex-superintendent as they moved toward the elevator.
Anandhi’s legs felt heavy. She walked beside Rahul, her mind spinning with one terrifying question:
Why does he look so calm… when I know he has every reason to destroy us, or he still trust us, he still didnt know what my husband and madhavan did to him?
