Too many characters and plot lines made it confusing for people watching it without reading the book..also chola history is a lot older and not well known to non-tamil audience
On the other hand those who read the work were disappointed with the way it was presented in the movie

ఇంత పెద్దకథ చదవడానికి ఇబ్బంది అనుకునేవారి కోసం.

నేను 5 భాగాలు విడివిడిగా చేసిపెట్టాను.

ఫ్లాస్ బ్యాక్ లు లేకుండా సాఫీగా అందరికీ అర్ధం అయ్యేలా వ్రాస్తే బాగుంటుంది.
