Adultery Lina - Young Massage Therapist Surrender to Desire
Chapter 46: Maya (Act 6)

Rahim stepped out of the basin area first, his boxers clinging loosely to his hips as he moved with a mix of satisfaction and unease. He ran a hand through his damp hair, exhaling deeply as he sat on the edge of the thin mattress in the storage room.

The silence was heavy, broken only by the faint rustle of fabric as Maya cleaned herself up behind the thin curtain. His chest still rose and fell slightly faster than usual, the adrenaline of what had just transpired lingering in his veins.

When Maya finally stepped out, she looked like a different person. Her robe was wrapped tightly around her, though her blouse and skirt were disheveled from being hastily put back on. Her hands trembled as she smoothed her hair, avoiding Rahim’s gaze for as long as she could.

For a moment, neither of them spoke. The air between them was thick with unspoken words, guilt, and the weight of what they had shared.

Finally, Rahim broke the silence, his voice low and cautious. “Maya… I’m sorry if I… if I made you feel uncomfortable. That wasn’t my intention.”

Maya’s eyes flickered to him briefly before she looked away, her fingers fidgeting with the edge of her robe. “I know,” she murmured, her voice barely audible. “I didn’t mean for this to happen either. It… it just did.”

Rahim nodded slowly, his hands resting on his knees as he leaned forward slightly. “It was… more than I expected. But it was also… something I can’t forget.” He paused, searching for the right words. “You’re an incredible woman, Maya. What we did… it shouldn’t have happened, but I don’t regret it.”

Maya’s breath hitched at his words, her heart racing as she struggled to process her emotions. She crossed her arms over her chest, her voice trembling as she spoke. “Rahim-ji… this can’t happen again. It was wrong. We both know that.”

“I know,” Rahim agreed quickly, though there was a hint of reluctance in his tone.
Maya nodded, her tears threatening to spill over again. “What if someone finds out? My husband… Lina… they would never forgive us.”

Rahim stood abruptly, his expression serious. “No one will find out, Maya. This stays between us. Forever.” He stepped closer, his voice softening. “I’m leaving tomorrow. By evening, I’ll be on a train back to my hometown. Whatever happened tonight… it’s over.”

Maya looked up at him, her eyes searching his for reassurance. “Do you really mean that? You won’t tell anyone?”
“I swear it,” Rahim said firmly, his gaze unwavering. “This is our secret. No one else needs to know.”

Maya swallowed hard, her voice barely a whisper. “Thank you, Rahim-ji. For… for helping me tonight. Even if it went too far.”
Rahim hesitated before nodding slowly. “You needed help, and I… I wanted to help.”
Maya wiped at her eyes, her composure slowly returning. “Finally, my problem with the blocked milk is solved,” she said softly, though her tone was bittersweet.

Rahim managed a small smile, though it didn’t quite reach his eyes. “I’m glad I could help with what I could.” He paused, his voice becoming hesitant again.
Rahim said quickly, stepping back slightly. “ Tomorrow, I’ll be gone. Life will go back to normal.”

Maya nodded, though the weight of his words lingered in the air. She took a deep breath, her voice firm despite the quiver in it. “Goodnight, Rahim-ji. I should go back before my husband wakes up.”

“Goodnight, Maya,” Rahim replied softly, his gaze lingering on her as she turned toward the door.
She hesitated for a moment, her hand resting on the doorknob as she glanced back at him. “Take care on your journey tomorrow.”
“I will,” Rahim promised, a faint smile tugging at his lips. “You take care too, Maya.”

With that, she slipped out of the storage room, the door clicking shut behind her. Rahim stood there for a moment longer before sinking back onto the mattress, his mind racing with conflicting thoughts and emotions. He lay down, staring at the ceiling until sleep finally claimed him.

The next morning, Maya woke early, her body still humming with the memory of the night before. Her husband slept soundly beside her, oblivious to what had transpired in the storage room. She dressed quietly in a simple saree, her mind wandering as she prepared breakfast for the family.

As she stirred the dal on the stove, her thoughts kept drifting back to Rahim. She wondered if he was already packing his things or if he was feeling the same turmoil she was. The memory of his touch haunted her, but she forced herself to focus on the present.

Later that day, Rahim appeared in the main house to bid farewell to Sari & her family. His bag was slung over his shoulder, and his expression was carefully neutral as he thanked them for their hospitality.

“Thank you for letting me stay here,” he said politely, his eyes briefly meeting Maya’s before shifting away. “I’ll always remember your kindness.”

Sari’s father clapped him on the back, oblivious to the tension in the air. “Safe travels, Rahim-ji. You’re always welcome here.”

Maya stood silently in the background, her hands clasped tightly in front of her. She wanted to say something...anything but the words caught in her throat. Instead, she simply nodded when Rahim glanced her way.

As he turned to leave, Maya felt a pang of something she couldn’t quite name. Guilt? Relief? Longing? She wasn’t sure. All she knew was that life would return to normal now or as normal as it could be.

That evening, as Rahim waited to board the train back to his hometown, Maya sat alone in her room, staring out the window. The events of the previous night felt like a distant dream, yet the memory of his touch still lingered on her skin.

She took a deep breath, trying to push away the thoughts that threatened to consume her. It’s over, she told herself firmly. It was a mistake, and it won’t happen again
