There's a big difference. It's like a difference between paper flowers and real flowers. It takes time to grow real flowers. But it's worth the wait.
Think about like this: there were lots of sex stories. Thousands if not lakhs. But, most of them are forgotten. But very few Romantic stories are remembered. Like Vennlo Aada pilla. Or if we go even back in time, Srungara Shakuntalam. Wonderful story.
They stay in the history. Please don't get influenced by temporary numbers and praises. You have a value.
I truly wish you write a real novel outside of this site. For everyone to read. You have the potential Shailu
I truly love your writing style.

Hi Prasanna
Thank you, truly, for taking the time to write something so thoughtful and encouraging. Your words reached me at a very meaningful level, and I want you to know how deeply I appreciate both your insight and your faith in my work.
You’re absolutely right about the distinction you drew. There is a profound difference between momentary consumption and lasting impact, between stories that exist only for instant gratification and those that grow slowly, take root, and stay with the reader. The metaphor of paper flowers versus real flowers is especially powerful, and it beautifully captures the kind of writing I aspire to create, even if it takes time and patience.
I’m grateful for your reminder not to be swayed by temporary numbers or fleeting praise. It’s easy to look at reach and visibility, but value is not always measured by volume. The examples you mentioned, stories that endured because of emotion, romance, and depth, reinforce why I write the way I do. To be compared, even in spirit, to works that have lived on in memory is genuinely humbling.
Your belief that erotica can be beautiful, layered, and meaningful, and that readers eventually recognize that beauty, gives me renewed confidence. And your encouragement to think beyond this platform, toward writing something lasting and widely read, means more to me than I can easily express. To hear that you see that potential in my writing is both motivating and grounding.
Thank you for your generosity, your perspective, and your sincerity. Support like this stays with a writer far longer than numbers ever do, and I will carry your words with me as I continue to write, grow, and aim higher.
Thank you once again for your continued support and the ratings you have been giving me.
With warm regards

Poetry in every sentence is a mark of your excellent command of the subject. Even my mind is delving into romance, while my brain enjoys learning effective words and how they are woven appropriately into sentences.
I respect your English teacher.
Hi Kavyaraja
Thank you so much for this incredibly generous feedback. Calling it “poetry in every sentence” is truly an honor, and I’m deeply grateful that the writing resonated with you on both an emotional and an intellectual level.
I especially loved how you described the dual experience, your mind drifting into romance while your brain studies the craft itself. That balance between feeling and form is exactly what I strive for: to let the emotion flow naturally while being intentional about word choice, rhythm, and how sentences are woven together.
And your final line genuinely made me smile. Any respect given to my English teacher is well deserved, because a love for language, nuance, and expression is something that was carefully nurtured over time. Hearing that it shows in the work is immensely satisfying.
Thank you again for reading so attentively and for sharing such a thoughtful response. Feedback like this affirms not just the scene, but the discipline and care behind the writing itself.
With warm regards

Priya shuddered slightly at the sensation, a soft breath escaping her lips as her body responded to his touch.
"Ravi..." she whispered, her voice barely a breath, filled with so much longing that it almost caught in her throat. Her hands slid lower on his chest, feeling the steady thrum of his heartbeat beneath her fingers, each beat synchronizing with her own.
Ravi paused for a moment, his lips hovering above her shoulder, breathing in the scent of her skin, the delicate tremor in her voice a clear signal of the intensity of what was building between them.
His hands moved to the small of her back again, pulling her ever closer, feeling the soft curve of her waist, her body fitting into his like a missing piece of a puzzle they’d been solving for what felt like a lifetime.
The kitchen was silent except for the soft sound of their breathing, two bodies, two hearts, finally meeting at the same pace. Ravi slowly, carefully, moved his lips back to her neck, this time with a gentle insistence.
His kisses deepened, slowly, as if testing the waters, allowing Priya to decide, allowing her body to tell him how much she wanted more, how much she trusted him in this intimate space.
And when she didn't pull away, when her body softened against him, he knew that there was nothing left but to enjoy this shared moment, to savor every touch, every kiss, without rushing.
Time seemed to dissolve. There was only the sound of their kissing, the rhythmic pulse of their breaths, and the steady thrum of their hearts, all entwining in this slow, tender moment where they didn’t have to say anything, they simply were.
Neither of them wanted to rush. Every kiss, every touch, felt like it was the first and last, and so they savored it all, each moment, each breath, knowing that this, right here, was everything.
“This is real,” she thought.
“And it’s happening slowly enough that I can feel every second of it.”
“I’ve wanted this,” Priya realized, the truth settling gently rather than crashing in.
“Not just the kiss. The way he’s here with me.”
They stayed like that, close, connected, unafraid of the stillness.
No rush.
No need to go further.
Just the profound relief of finally allowing themselves to be exactly where they were.
And as they stood there, still close, still breathing together, both of them knew the same thing with quiet certainty:
This wasn’t a breaking of boundaries, it was expanding the boundaries.
It was the beginning of trust taking shape, slowly, deliberately, and with love that had waited long enough to be felt fully.
