On the dining table, bowls were already arranged—simple food, but carefully prepared.
The kind of meal someone made not because they had to, but because they wanted to.
Meghana was near the table, her back to him as she adjusted a bowl.
Her peach cotton kurti moved with the breeze from the balcony, clinging momentarily to the curves of her lower back before loosening again.
She turned—and her gaze met his.
Soft. Steady. Familiar.
“You didn’t have to bring anything,” she said, her voice low.
“I wasn’t sure if I’d be welcome,” he replied.
“You are,” she said.
Just that.
No smile, no attempt to soften the words.
But they were already soft.
Something passed between them.
Something Varnika noticed from the corner of her eye.
She didn’t comment—but she didn’t look away either.
“I’ll get the kheer,” Varnika said, vanishing into the kitchen.
Meghana turned to him again, quieter now. “Sit. You’ve had a long day.”
He obeyed, feeling strangely nervous.
Dinner began with small talk—how the rain would probably flood the side roads again, how Varnika had a university visit tomorrow, how Meghana had a few late meetings lined up.
But slowly, something warmer seeped into the space between them.
Every time Meghana reached across to serve something, Abhi felt her wrist graze his forearm just enough to notice.
When she poured him water, her fingers brushed his again—and lingered, like they remembered his pulse from Friday.
When he looked up at her face, he caught something—something unguarded.

Varnika noticed.
She also noticed how Abhi looked at her when she wasn’t speaking—how his eyes softened briefly when she returned from the kitchen licking a trace of kheer off her fingertip, how he stumbled on a sentence when she absentmindedly tucked her legs up into the chair and rested her cheek on her palm.
She wasn’t unaware.
She was just... curious.
Not naïve.
Not dismissive.
Just watching...
And still, Abhi sat there with echoes inside him. Of breath held just behind touch.
Of the way Meghana had pressed close—not seducing him, not teasing, but offering something wordless and warm, as if inviting him to come a step closer but not quite crossing the line herself.
That feeling hadn’t left him.
Neither had the questions.
After the plates were nearly empty, Meghana stood. “I’ll clear,” she said, reaching for his plate.
“I can—” he began.
But she touched his hand lightly. “Let me.” Her fingers barely pressed his knuckles, but the message was clear.
She carried the plates to the kitchen. Varnika, licking her spoon, leaned forward with a casual air. “So, you’re still working from home this week, right?”
Abhi nodded. “Mostly. Just a few calls.”
“Perfect,” she said, glancing over her shoulder to make sure Meghana wasn’t close. “I’ve got two interviews this week, and the university wants me to come in tomorrow for some document stuff. Meghana’s packed in the mornings.”
“You want me to take you?”

A Sweet favor
“If it’s not trouble.”
He looked mildly surprised. “You trust me with directions?”
“I trust Google Maps,” she said sweetly. “But mostly, I trust you’ll keep me from getting bored.”
Meghana returned just then, wiping her hands with a towel. “Don’t ask him to babysit you,” she said, almost too quickly.
“It’s not babysitting,” Varnika grinned. “It’s city orientation. And breakfast buddy duties.”
Abhi laughed. “That I can handle.”
There was a pause. A soft one.
Then Meghana added, not looking directly at him, “Also... if it’s not raining tomorrow, we could do yoga on the terrace again. If you’re up for it.”
He looked at her, something catching in his chest. “Always.”
And then Varnika, ever the troublemaker, added lazily, “And if it does rain, you’ll just have to stick to indoor yoga.”
A beat passed.
Meghana shot her a subtle warning glance.
Abhi just smiled. “I’ll be here either way.”
The air grew still—not silent, just still. The kind of pause that made the sound of the rain outside feel like part of the conversation.
Meghana didn’t speak again for a while. She moved to the sink. Varnika stretched and stood, yawning theatrically.
“I’m going to crash,” she said. “Someone’s making me wake up early.”
She disappeared into the bedroom, but not before giving Abhi one last sideways look—a little mischievous, a little knowing.
Then it was just him and Meghana, both moving slowly, neither eager to break the spell.
“I’ll leave,” he said eventually, rising. “You’ve been very kind.”
Meghana stepped closer. “It’s never about kindness with you, Abhi.”
That sentence sat in the air like a held breath.
He hesitated. Then, “What is it about?”
She met his eyes—steady, deep, a little vulnerable. “It’s about how I feel when you’re around.”
He didn’t respond right away.
Because words didn’t feel big enough anymore.
And neither did distance.
But he stepped back all the same. With a soft smile, he nodded. “Goodnight.”
“Goodnight,” she said, her voice almost a whisper.
As he walked out into the corridor, he didn’t look back.
But inside him, something had shifted again.
And somewhere behind the closed door, Meghana leaned against the wall and let the silence settle.
The kind of silence that only comes after wanting to say something… but not yet.
Not tonight.

At the beginning of Part 2, I’ll include a brief synopsis of Part 1 to help bring everyone up to speed.

Wow Shailu,
your writing is absolutely fantastic! You truly rocked it in detailing every single moment of Abhiram's interactions with Madhavi and Meghana. The description of their first kiss was particularly captivating - it was both deeply emotional and sensual. I loved it to the core!
A guy's first kiss is always a special milestone, and the way you've expressed it in your narration was simply mind-blowing. It was so engaging, I felt like I was right there with them.
I completely understand why you've started Part 2. I'm eagerly waiting for the next part and can't wait to see where the story goes from here!

.
I have completed 2 months of writing.
I started writing on 11th June 2005
Two months of learning to write,
Each word a step, each page a flight.
In the dance of ink and thought I roam,
Finding my rhythm, but not quite home.
I am a student, a learner at heart,
Treading this path where stories start.
Two months ago, with phone in hand,
I embarked on a journey I didn’t fully understand.
With each word written, each page turned,
I’ve stumbled, faltered, and slowly learned.
But in the silence, in every doubt,
The lessons whispered, shaping me out.
To those who’ve stood by with steady grace,
Your kindness, your faith, has lit my space.
Your words have been a lantern in the dark,
Guiding me, igniting that first spark.
Though I’ve traveled far, I know too well,
That the journey ahead is where true growth will dwell.
I am not yet a master, not yet complete,
Still learning the rhythm, still finding the beat.
So here I stand, with humble embrace,
Grateful for the lessons, and the endless chase.
For I am still a student, a seeker of truth,
Learning how to write, how to carve my youth.
Only two months, a student still,
In the playcollege of writing, learning at will.
Thank you every one for all your support

I am Shailu, I have been reading stories here without registering for a while. I really love you all. These stories made me attempt my first story. Please excuse me if I make any mistakes. This is not a quick story with quick romantic scenes. I have been thinking of this for a long time. It will be a novel and slowly builds up. This is the journey of Abhiram, a young software engineer that comes to Hyderabad with great hopes. We will look into his life, how he meets different people and how he gets close to them and how he leaves a mark in their lives. We will explore all the thrills in his life in a natural way. No rushed plots. If you are looking for a quick romantic scenes, it is not the one.
Hope you like it.

Six Months of Storytelling: Thank You From the Bottom of My Heart
Dear Friends,
Six months ago, when I was in India, a small thought flashed in my mind: why not try writing a story? At that time, I had been reading some stories on this site, but not extensively. When that idea struck, I simply signed into the site and began writing Abhi’s Journey. That was the turning point of my life. Before that, none of you knew me, and now, I’m fortunate to have all of you by my side.
Today marks six months since I embarked on this incredible journey of storytelling, and I can’t believe how quickly the time has flown by. From that very first idea, to putting pen to paper, to now, having six stories that I’m so proud of, I’ve learned more than I ever imagined.
There are so many people I want to thank for their encouragement, support, and belief in me. Without you, none of this would have been possible. Every word written, every plot twist crafted, every character developed is, in part, because of the faith and energy you’ve shared with me.
- First Fire in Abhiram's Erotic Journey - Part 1
The first story I wrote was a true leap of faith. I want to thank everyone who gave me feedback and helped me see the potential in it. Your encouragement made it all feel worth it. I will always remember the excitement and nerves I felt finishing this one. I introduced too many characters in that story and could not justify them, so I wrapped it up and moved on to Part 2.
- Antarvasana: The Forbidden Fire
Writing my second story was an entirely different experience. I continued from where I left off in the first story. It picks up momentum with Madhavi, Meghana, and her sister Varnika. I paused this story when Varnika proposed Abhi. They are yet to get close and enjoy the romantic journey. I was amazed by how many of you were there to cheer me on, share your thoughts, and keep me going when it felt like the story was taking unexpected turns. Thank you to each of you for your unwavering support.
- Priya Didi
The third story was an emotional rollercoaster. I’ve received the most feedback on this one, some good, some bad, and some harsh. I was feeling very down and could not write for a few days. I want to thank those of you who reached out with messages of encouragement and helped me heal. Your kindness meant the world to me. I can never forget your help. I want to thank those of you who shared thoughtful feedback, offering constructive suggestions and just being there to listen when I needed to talk things through. This story has been an emotional ride for you and for me as well.
- The Swamiji
This one was a real turning point for me. I started this story thinking I wanted to write a novel. It wasn’t just another erotic story, it was something more. However, I didn’t get much engagement despite the time I spent on it. Each scene in this story took a lot of my time, but I haven’t written much beyond what’s already posted. I’ve put it on pause for now, but I hope to pick it up soon. I got some great initial feedback, but the momentum quickly faded.
- The Nine Nights
The concept was simple: two people stranded on a remote island in Kerala after a tsunami wave. They spend nine days waiting for rescue. This story is about how they survived and how they grew closer to each other emotionally, and then physically. This story touches on every tiny bit of emotion. Thank you to everyone who kept believing in me, whether it was a quick message, a thoughtful comment, or simply asking me how the story was coming along. You made all the difference. This story is nearing its conclusion, and I hope to complete it very soon.
- Shhh... by Shailu
And now, we arrive at my sixth story. I had this beautiful concept one night, and I put the plot together. But I need to spend more time to truly expand it into a complete story. I hope you’ll all enjoy it. I feel like this story is a culmination of all the growth I’ve experienced over these past six months. I want to make it exciting and naughty, and I can’t wait to share more with you.
Throughout this entire journey, one thing has remained constant: the support I’ve received from all of you. Whether you’ve offered a kind word, a helpful suggestion, or simply been a sounding board when I needed to bounce ideas around, I am endlessly grateful for your encouragement.
As I reflect on these past six months, I realize that my writing isn’t just about me, it’s about all of you who’ve helped me get here. You've given me the confidence to keep pushing forward, to take risks, and to explore new ideas. Every single person who has been part of this journey, in whatever way, holds a special place in my heart.
Thank you for believing in me, for being a part of my story, and for helping me bring these stories to life. I can't wait to see what the next six months hold, and I’m thrilled to continue sharing this journey with you all.
With deep gratitude and excitement for what’s next,
-- Shailu
