Adultery Priya Didi
Scene: A Quiet Moment of Healing

The room is dimly lit, with the soft glow of the lamp casting long shadows along the walls. The air is still, yet heavy with the unspoken tension that has hung between Ravi and Priya for what feels like weeks.

Priya is lying back on her bed, her head propped up on a pillow, her injured ankle resting gently on a cushion.

Ravi is sitting beside her, a little too close for comfort, yet not close enough to cross a line. His presence has become a constant comfort, the very act of being near her filling the space with warmth.

She looks up at him through half-lidded eyes, watching the way his features soften in the quiet.

His expression is still, waiting, patiently, for her to speak. There’s a tenderness in the way he watches her, something so genuine that it almost melts her defenses, the walls she’s built around her heart.

Priya sighs softly, a sound barely above a whisper. She shifts on the bed, feeling a soft ache in her ankle from the earlier balm application, but the pain isn’t as sharp as before. It’s different now, dulled, more manageable. She can feel the soothing effect of his touch still lingering, and for the first time in a long while, her chest isn’t tight with anger. There’s just... a quiet peace.

“Ravi...” she speaks softly, her voice barely more than a murmur. He leans forward slightly, his full attention on her, like he's been waiting for these words for what feels like forever.

“Yes, Priya Didi?” He doesn’t move too much, his voice gentle, as if he’s afraid to break this fragile moment.

She swallows, her heart beating in a slow rhythm, the words difficult to form at first. The vulnerability in her chest, the softness that’s begun to bloom, makes her nervous, but she pushes through.

“I... I’ve been thinking,” she starts, her voice quieter than usual. “About everything... everything that happened. And...” She pauses, unsure of how to finish. It feels strange, talking about it, but the air between them has changed in such a subtle way, she knows she has to.

Ravi doesn’t interrupt, his gaze steady, his eyes fixed on her with a quiet understanding that makes her heart flutter.

“I... feel better now,” she says, her voice still low, but this time, there's a softness in it that wasn’t there before. "The pain in my ankle is almost gone, actually. I think all that... massaging you did... it's worked." She smiles faintly, a hint of warmth in her tone.

Ravi smiles too, a small, appreciative smile, and for the first time in a while, something in her heart softens. It’s like he’s been waiting for her to say this, for the small bridge of forgiveness to begin to form.

“I’m glad to hear that,” he replies, his voice deep and sincere. He pauses before continuing. “You know... I would do anything for you, Priya Didi. Anything to make you feel better.”

The way he says it, so earnestly, makes something inside her stir. She tries not to let herself be affected, but it’s difficult when he speaks like that, with such pure devotion in his tone.

Priya takes a slow breath, shifting her gaze down to her ankle, as if the act of looking elsewhere will help her gather her thoughts. "He’s been so kind... too kind. Why does he care so much after everything I said?"

She forces herself to meet his gaze, her eyes softer now, no longer holding the sharpness they once did.

“Ravi... I’ve been so angry with you. So angry, and it’s been hard to see beyond that. But... the way you’ve been with me lately... It’s hard to ignore.”

Ravi’s expression falters for a moment, his brow furrowing slightly, but he doesn’t say anything. He waits for her to continue.

Her voice is quieter now, more vulnerable. “I guess I thought... after everything, you’d just stop caring. But you’ve been so patient with me, even when I haven’t been fair to you.”

Ravi exhales slowly, his gaze intense, filled with emotion. “I’ll never stop caring about you, Priya Didi. No matter what happens. I’m sorry for what I did... I wish I could take it all back, but... I just want to show you, every day, how much I care. You deserve that.”

Priya is quiet for a long moment, letting his words settle inside her. She knows the apology is genuine. She’s heard it from him before, but something about the way he says it now, so raw, so real, stirs something deep inside her.

“How could I not see it?” she wonders, her heart clenching at the thought. He hasn’t stopped trying. He’s been nothing but kind, attentive, and loving. Even through the tension, through the hurt, he’s been there.

“I don’t want to hold on to this anger anymore,” Priya admits, her voice a little more steady now. "I don’t want to keep pushing you away... because, Ravi... you’ve been good to me. More than I deserve."

The words hang in the air for a moment, and Ravi looks at her, his eyes softened with hope and something deeper, something more intimate. He doesn’t say anything right away, but the way he looks at her, like she’s the only person in the world, makes her heart flutter.

His hand moves almost instinctively to her ankle again, his fingers brushing gently against her skin as if to reassure her of his presence, of his care. His touch is warm and comforting, a steady reminder of everything he’s been trying to show her.

Priya doesn’t pull away. She lets his touch linger, letting herself feel the gentle affection in his every movement. She closes her eyes for a moment, letting herself sink into the quiet. She’s still angry, still hurt, but there’s something in the way he’s holding her now, in the way he’s looking at her, that makes her want to believe again.

“I know I haven’t been perfect,” he says softly, his voice full of remorse, but also determination. “But if you’ll let me... I’ll spend every day showing you how much you mean to me. I’ll never take you for granted again.”

Priya lets out a soft breath, a little shakier than she intends. “Ravi... I don’t know if I can ever forget everything that happened, but... I don’t want to fight you anymore. I don’t want to push you away.”

Her words hang between them, a fragile peace settling in the quiet of the room. Ravi’s hand moves to hers, his fingers brushing against her palm, and she doesn’t pull away. Instead, she lets him hold her hand, the warmth of his touch wrapping around her in a way that feels both comforting and intimate.

“Thank you,” she whispers, her voice small but filled with something new. “Thank you for never giving up on me.”

Ravi gives her a soft smile, his heart full. “I’ll never give up on you, Priya Didi. Never.”

For the first time in weeks, Priya feels the heavy weight of her anger starting to lift, replaced by something gentler, something more tender. The walls she’s built around her heart start to crack, just a little, and she lets herself feel that soft, fragile hope.

The space between them, once filled with silence and distance, now feels different, closer, warmer. The unspoken tension has shifted, replaced by a quiet understanding, a quiet promise that things could heal, that maybe, just maybe, they could find their way back to each other.

She looks up at him, her eyes soft, no longer clouded with doubt. “Ravi... I think I might be ready to let go of the past. I think I might be ready to move forward with you.”

His smile deepens, his heart lighter than it has been in days. Slowly, carefully, he leans in closer, his lips just inches from hers, and for a long moment, neither of them speaks.

And then, in the quiet of the room, Ravi leans in just enough to brush his lips gently against her forehead, a soft, loving gesture that says everything neither of them can put into words.

And Priya, for the first time in a long while, allows herself to lean into him, her heart full of something new, a feeling of hope, a feeling of forgiveness, and a feeling that, maybe, love can heal after all.

Hi Venkygeethu

Thank you so much for your compliments and the feedback. I’m really glad you’re enjoying the updates. I’m trying to keep things moving naturally, without rushing, because the moments that come need to feel earned. As for Ravi, he’s definitely on a path toward Priya Didi, and I can’t agree more, she’s absolutely the best he could hope for. She’s more than worth every effort he’s putting in. The next steps will be worth the wait, I promise!

Please Stay tuned, it’s going to be worth the wait.

By the way, on the personal note: I’ve noticed you haven’t been as active on these thread lately, is everything good with you? I really appreciate your thoughts, and I always look forward to hearing from you. Hope all is well on your end.

Once thank you very much for your continued support.

A Quiet Lunch in Bed

The apartment felt unusually still, wrapped in the golden hush of afternoon light. Sunlight pooled across the floorboards, spilling softly over the bed like liquid gold, a warm whisper that made the space feel sacred. The air, thick with the faint scent of sandalwood, softened everything it touched.

Priya Didi lay back against a small fortress of pillows, her injured ankle carefully supported by a folded blanket.

The bed around her was a comforting tangle of softness, holding the traces of their shared laughter and quiet moments, and too many things left unsaid.

There was something fragile in the air, a stillness he seemed to understand.

After a beat, Ravi glanced over at Priya Didi, who had closed her eyes. "What should I order for lunch?" he asked softly, looking at her and then down at his phone. "Anything in particular?"

She shifted slightly, her eyes fluttering open to meet his. "You know what I like," she said with a faint smile. "But surprise me. Just something comforting."

Ravi raised an eyebrow, a playful glint in his eyes. "Comforting, huh? You mean something with butter and spices?" he teased, already scrolling through the menu.

"Maybe just a little butter," she replied with a smile. "Nothing too heavy."

"How about biryani, paneer tikka, dal makhani, and some garlic naan?" Ravi asked, glancing at her. "It’s your favorite, right?"

Priya Didi’s eyes softened. "You remembered." She smiled, warmth in her voice. "That sounds perfect."

"Done," Ravi said, tapping the phone to finalize the order. "It’ll be here soon."

As he placed the phone down, he caught her gaze for a moment, his lips curving into a small smile. The simplicity of the moment felt grounding, as if everything outside had paused, but the time moved forward.

The knock at the door broke the silence. Ravi answered, exchanged a few polite words with the delivery man, and returned with a tray of food. The fragrance of the dishes, spicy paneer tikka, fragrant biryani, and buttery dal makhani, filled the room.

Priya Didi inhaled deeply, the aroma flooding her senses and stirring a deep hunger that wasn’t just for food, but for something more, the presence of Ravi.

Hi Shailu I am really amazed to see your reply immediately really I love the way you proceed the story I too love to see Ravi with Priya Didi very soon but at the same time not in a rush and harsh way. Sorry for not responding you then and there really fed up with the key board problem really stuck with it. Some keys find it difficult to obey my commands but by God's grace and your wish I have a new bluetooth keyboard which makes my work easier and really I felt somewhat guilty in not showing my gratitude to you by sending my feed back now I am really happy to send you my feedback with wholehearted words. Your Nine Nights also moves in the same situation where Naveen is nearing her but at the same time something stops them very soon expecting their unison too but not in a rush as you wish

Hi Venkygeethu

Thank you so much for your heartfelt message! Your words truly made my day. Please don’t worry at all about the delay,  life (and keyboards!) have a funny way of getting in the way sometimes. I’m just happy to know you’re back with a new Bluetooth keyboard that listens to you better than the old one did!

I’m really glad that you’re enjoying the pace and direction of the stories. Hearing that you appreciate both the gradual buildup and the emotional journey means so much to me. I also love that you’re connecting with both pairs of characters and feeling that pull toward their union, even as the story lets things unfold in their own time.

Your sincerity, support, and warmth come through so clearly, and I’m truly grateful for your feedback. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts so wholeheartedly. It encourages me more than you know.

With love and appreciation

Hi Venkygeethu

Thank you for such a beautiful sentiment! You put it perfectly—sharing a meal with people we like and love really does nourish more than just the body. It creates memories, deepens bonds, and fills the heart in a way nothing else quite can. I’m so glad the story made you feel that warmth.

Your words truly brightened my day.

Ravi set the tray on the bedside table, adjusting it carefully. His hands brushed against the cloth, smoothing the edges, before he turned back to her, his expression soft and earnest.

"You thought of everything," Priya Didi said, her smile tugging at her lips. His thoughtfulness, the way he’d ordered her favorites, felt like more than just a meal. It was care. It was him in every choice.

"I wasn’t sure what you’d want, so I ordered a bit of everything," Ravi replied, a small, shy smile tugging at the corners of his lips.

"You didn’t have to," Priya Didi murmured, a quiet ache forming in her chest. The gesture, so simple yet so intentional, felt like more than just food. It was an offering. A piece of him.

"I wanted to," Ravi said simply. His voice was warm, with something deeper hiding just beneath the surface.

"I’ll serve you," he said, reaching for the spoon. There was something gentle in his touch, and the softness in his expression made her heart skip.

Priya Didi opened her mouth to protest, but his eyes, those quiet, soulful eyes, made her pause. He had never looked at her like this before, so tender, so open. She softened under his gaze, warmth blooming in her chest.

Ravi started with the paneer tikka, its golden edges catching the light. The fragrance filled the air as he placed a piece on her plate. It was too beautiful to be real. She could feel the heat of it on her fingertips as she reached for the first bite.

When the paneer hit her tongue, it was a rush of smoky softness, followed by cumin and garlic. Her eyes fluttered closed, a soft sigh escaping her lips before she could stop it. It wasn’t just the food. It was everything, the intimacy of the moment, the way he watched her, the way he cared for her.

Ravi watched her closely, the faintest curve of a smile on his lips. She remembers what she loves, he thought, feeling something shift within him. She’s trusting me again.

"I’m glad you like it," he murmured, his voice low, intimate. It was more than a casual comment; the words felt heavy, filled with unspoken meaning.

"It’s perfect," Priya Didi replied softly, meeting his gaze. She could see it now, the subtle shifts in his expression, the care in every movement. It wasn’t just about food; it was about comfort, about closeness. It was their unspoken language.

"You remembered," she said quietly, glancing at the spread. It wasn’t just the food. It was how he remembered her favorites, how he still thought of her.

Ravi smiled again, the warmth in his eyes deepening. I always do, he thought. I can’t forget her.

She reached for the garlic naan, her fingers brushing the soft bread. The plate shifted, and a few crumbs scattered. She moved to catch them, but Ravi’s hand was already there, steadying hers.

"Let me," he said softly, his voice calm.

His fingers brushed against hers in a light, unhurried way. The touch lingered just long enough to stir something deep inside her, a soft shiver of warmth and vulnerability. The simplicity of the gesture, of him steadying her hand, made her feel held in a way words couldn’t express.

"You’re too careful," she teased, her voice softer than usual. Her heart quickened, the tremor in her words betraying the fluttering in her chest.

"I just want to take care of you," Ravi replied, his voice heavy with meaning. His gaze held hers, searching, as though reaching for something deeper. She saw it there, something they hadn’t shared in a long time, something more than tenderness.

Ravi dipped a small piece of naan into the creamy dal makhani and held it close to her lips. "Here," he said, his voice tender. "Let me feed you."

Priya Didi hesitated, her breath catching, but then she parted her lips instinctively. As the warm piece touched her mouth, she felt the lightest brush of his fingers against her lips. The touch lingered, soft, warm, a fleeting moment that felt like it stretched out forever.

Ravi felt the softness of her lips, the delicate wetness from the dal, and the perfect texture of her skin. The sensation was electric, tender, and profound. He pulled his hand away slowly, his gaze locking with hers as they shared a silent acknowledgment of the intimacy.

Priya Didi swallowed, her heart racing, but she couldn’t look away. The moment had passed, but it lingered in the quiet of the room, both of them aware of the silent connection that had formed.

"You’ve been so good to me," she whispered, her voice catching. "I didn’t expect this. After everything."

Ravi’s expression softened as he adjusted her pillows, his hands gentle. "I know I’ve made mistakes," he said, his voice low, almost raw. "But I’m trying to make up for them. I want you to know I still care. I always have."

Her heart skipped a beat. It wasn’t just the words, it was the weight of them. And for the first time in weeks, the walls around her heart began to crumble.

Priya Didi shifted slightly, testing her ankle. The movement brought them closer, his warmth pressing against her. She felt safe, comforted by his presence.

The room bathed in soft afternoon light, she looked up at him. "I didn’t think I’d be able to get back to this point," she thought, her heart softening. But maybe… maybe it’s not too late.

Ravi continued to serve her with quiet care. There was something more in the way he did it, something that felt like more than just a meal. The small gestures, the tenderness in his touch, showed her that he still cared, that he was still there.

The silence between them was comfortable, broken only by the soft clink of silverware and her shifting in the bed.

"How’s the ankle?" he asked, his voice steady, full of concern.

She shifted carefully, the pain now distant. "Better. Honestly, I think you’ve worked some magic."

He laughed softly, his eyes bright. "Then I’ll keep at it. I’ll do whatever it takes to make sure you’re okay."

Their eyes locked, a quiet intensity hanging in the air. They weren’t where they used to be, but something had shifted. The walls between them were starting to crumble and something new was beginning to take shape ,  something real, fragile, but real.

For a brief moment, they stayed there, their gazes locked, the weight of their unspoken understanding hanging between them. Neither of them spoke, but the silence felt different now. It was no longer heavy or uncomfortable. It was full of possibility, of things not yet said, but somehow understood.

Priya Didi’s heart fluttered, the words she had been holding back finally bubbling to the surface. "Thank you, Ravi," she whispered, her voice barely audible, but the gratitude was unmistakable. "For everything."

The words lingered in the air, and Ravi’s gaze softened, a tenderness in his eyes that made her chest tighten. "I’m just trying to be there for you," he said, his voice low, steady. "In any way I can."

She smiled, a soft, genuine smile, one that reached her eyes. The feeling of being cared for, of not being alone in this quiet, fragile moment, wrapped around her like a warm blanket. She hadn’t realized how much she needed this ,  his presence, his quiet gestures, the way he was tending to her in ways that were more than physical. It was emotional, too.

Priya Didi’s gaze shifted to the tray of food between them, the spread now cold but still inviting. "Do you want some?" she asked softly, her voice teasing. She couldn’t help the small smile that tugged at her lips.

Ravi chuckled, reaching for the plate of biryani. "I thought you were the one who needed feeding," he teased back, his smile full of warmth.

"You’re right," she said, "But I’ve been eating like a queen today."

He glanced at her, his smile lingering, before taking a bite of the biryani. The way he chewed, the unhurried, thoughtful way he ate, made her realize just how much he had changed. There was a stillness in him now ,  a calmness that hadn’t been there before.

They ate in comfortable silence for a while, the only sound the soft clink of utensils and the occasional rustle of the blanket. Ravi made sure to offer her more, keeping an eye on her, making sure she ate enough. His care was quiet, constant, and it was enough to fill her with a warmth that had nothing to do with the food.

As the meal slowed, Ravi wiped his hands on a napkin, then reached over to tuck a stray lock of hair behind her ear. The gesture was simple, but the tenderness with which he did it made her breath catch.

They both fell into a silence that was heavy with everything they hadn’t said yet, everything they were still unsure of. But in that moment, there was no need for words. Just the quiet understanding that things were different now ,  better, maybe, though neither of them dared to say it aloud just yet.

After a long while, Priya Didi turned to him, her voice barely above a whisper. "Ravi," she said, "What are we doing?"

The question hung in the air, fragile and delicate, as if asking it might shatter something they were both afraid to touch.

Ravi looked at her, his expression soft but uncertain. "I don’t know," he admitted quietly. "But I want to keep doing it... this. I want to take care of you, Priya Didi. I... I just want to be here."

Her heart softened at the rawness in his voice. He didn’t have all the answers, and neither did she, but the honesty, the vulnerability, felt like a step forward.

"Maybe we’ll figure it out," she said, her words tentative but full of something she hadn’t felt in a long time ,  hope. "Maybe it’s enough, for now."

"Maybe," he replied, his gaze steady on hers, and for a moment, everything felt possible.

And as the sunlight filtered through the curtains, bathing them in soft, golden light, it was as if the world outside didn’t exist. In that small space, with the lingering scent of incense and the warmth of their shared silence, something fragile and beautiful was taking root.

And maybe, just maybe, that was enough.
