There is no reason for that to happen. This story is built up on feelings and desires. Kavya has expressed regret (it seemed hollow to me) and the author has progressed it further from the first marriage. Having Rahul show up just to fuck her would be a shallow revenge. I get the feeling that the author has no intension to (or perhaps it was never the intension to) have a revenge arc for the ex-husband. 

I am talking about what I want. How the story continues is up to the author. There is no compulsion for the author to listen to me. I'm okay with that.

I don’t think the author wants to write a revenge story. This story started as being narrated by the ex-husband and then he was removed from it. When I started reading it I thought that his role would be more prominent. But the way he was written out didn’t sit right with me and that’s what started the whole conversation from my end. I understand that the story is a work in process and it was fleshed out over time by the author. Perspectives change and story evolves. I get it. Complements to the author for their effort and dedication.

What I don’t want is a karmic revenge or them moving on with life without any consequences. I want a brutal physiological response from the ex-husband that’s driven by cold rage. It’s not like K & D were innocent. D often made fun of R and K knew that she was doing R wrong. Acceptance and forgiveness seems pathetic to me. That’s just my perspective.

Yes right Astro Bro...the story began as narration by R.....soon converted to third person narration and remains so even now....you are again correct that D ridiculed R....yes he did pass few snide remarks while fucking K for the first time...yes it was not in good taste and very much unlike D, for he's been a solid guy throughout, with warm and accommodating attitude....remember him helping K land a job, even after been insulted by her....only bcoz she's is his friend's wife....moreover, such insulting remarks were not needed during that scene...especially becoz K has always had high regard for R as a husband..as a human...as such unlikely R will resort to any brutal act of revenge...think he's moved on leaving this muck behind....(much as I hate to say this)....

The way the story is progressing, yes it seems like R has moved on. That does not sit right with me and that’s my whole gripe with the current direction of the story. I’m raising this issue so that the author may consider that opinion and develops the story accordingly, if they choose to do so.

If D is such an amazing guy then he and K can put together their lives post-revenge.
