Duration: 9h 32m | .MP4 1920x1080 30 fps® | AAC, 44100 Hz, 2ch | 2.29 GB
Genre: eLearning | Language: English
If you're an artist, in all likelihood, you will eventually want to or be asked to draw people.
Regardless of your style or artistic sensibility, there are certain fundamental principles of drawing people that apply to most work (at least until you get to a stage of mastery that allows you to break all the rules).
I have tried to structure and organize the lessons and assignments here into bite-sized morsels that I hope you will find easily digestible, engaging, and fun. We will explore shapes, perspective, anatomy, among many of my other techniques. Through this course, I aim to help you get a better understanding of drawing in general, and how to draw the human specifically in order to get the best possible results.
(PLEASE NOTE: This class makes use of artistic nudity. For students under the age of majority, parental discretion is advised.)

Description
The Finite Element Method for Nonlinear Structural Analysis (Introductory Version)This course is a partial version of the complete training The Finite Element Method for Nonlinear Structural Analysis. It is designed for engineers and researchers who already have a solid understanding of linear Finite Element Analysis (FEA). Participants are encouraged to complete the prerequisite course The Finite Element Method for Linear Structural Analysis or have equivalent knowledge of linear FEA concepts and applications. The training combines theoretical depth with hands-on projects, enabling you to confidently analyze complex nonlinear phenomena using Abaqus and BETA CAE tools (ANSA & META).Structured into nine comprehensive modules, the full course explores the entire range of nonlinearities-material, geometric, and contact-while progressively developing the general formulation of nonlinear FEA using tensor notation and variational principles.Modules Included in This Udemy Course:Module 1: IntroductionWe begin with a high-level overview of the main types of nonlinearities: material, large displacements, large deformations, and contact. Though not yet focusing on the full mathematical formulation, this module sets the stage with conceptual insights and introductory simulations in Abaqus. It closes with the first discussion on stiffness matrix updating in nonlinear analysis.Module 2: Solution of Simple Nonlinear ProblemsThis module isolates each nonlinearity through simplified problems that are first solved by hand and then verified in Abaqus. It includes material nonlinearity (plasticity), geometric nonlinearity (large displacements and structural instability), and basic contact modeling (GAP element). The objective is to build intuition and reinforce understanding before moving to the general nonlinear formulation.Module 6: Simulation of Bolted End-Plate ConnectionA complete FEA tutorial covering every stage of the analysis - from geometry creation and meshing to the definition of contact interactions, bolt pretension, boundary conditions, load applications and much more. The study is based on a scientific article that provides experimental data of the physical test, allowing direct validation of the numerical model.Workflow: Pre-processing in ANSA, solving in Abaqus Standard, and post-processing in META Post.Modules Available Only in the Full Course (not available here on Udemy):Module 3: Geometric Nonlinearity - Understanding the Concept from One-DimensionalFocusing on large displacements and deformations, this module explores geometric nonlinearity using a one-dimensional beam model. The coupling between axial and bending effects is addressed through the Geometric Stiffness Matrix, derived via the Principle of Virtual Work. We extend these insights to shell elements. We also apply the geometric stiffness matrix to classical linear buckling problems. The module concludes with a deeper look at large deformations.Module 4: General Formulation of Nonlinear FEAThis core module introduces the full mathematical framework for nonlinear FEA. We begin with a study of stress transformations in one, two, and three dimensions, followed by an introduction to tensors and indicial notation. We then explore the deformation gradient tensor, a central concept in finite strain theory, and its polar decomposition into rotation and stretch components. These concepts provide the foundation for defining various strain and stress measures, such as the Green-Lagrange strain, Almansi strain, Cauchy stress, and the first and second Piola-Kirchhoff stress tensors. The module culminates with the variational formulation of the nonlinear finite element method using the Principle of Virtual Work.Module 5: Advanced Plasticity ModelingA detailed study of plastic behavior in materials is presented, including yield criteria (e.g., von Mises), flow rules (such as the Prandtl-Reuss equations), and advanced hardening laws (isotropic, kinematic, and distortional). The focus is on integrating these models into nonlinear FEA and understanding their impact on structural response under complex loading.Module 7: CrossKart Tutorial - Rear Suspension FEA ModelingComprehensive FEA modeling of the rear suspension of a CrossKart vehicle using advanced techniques commonly applied in the automotive industry. The tutorial covers mesh generation, bolt pretension setup using translator connectors, surface-to-surface and tie contact definitions, multiple connector types, rigid body definitions, step setup, weld modeling and much more.Workflow: Pre-processing in ANSA, solving in Abaqus Standard, and post-processing in META Post.Module 8: CrossKart Tutorial - Front Suspension FEA ModelingA continuation of the previous tutorial, focusing on the front suspension of the same CrossKart vehicle. The same workflow and methodology are applied to ensure consistency and integration with the rear suspension model.Workflow: Pre-processing in ANSA, solving in Abaqus Standard, and post-processing in META Post.Module 9: CrossKart Tutorial - Full Vehicle FEA ModelingIn this module, the front and rear suspension models developed in the previous tutorials are combined, and the remaining vehicle components are modeled to create a complete full-vehicle assembly. This model can be used for various durability and performance analyses, including structural strength, joint integrity, buckling, and explicit dynamic simulations for impact events.Workflow: Pre-processing in ANSA, solving in Abaqus Standard, and post-processing in META Post.By the End of This Udemy Course:You will have a solid conceptual and practical foundation to begin working with nonlinear FEA in Abaqus, including:Understanding the different types of nonlinearities.Solving simple nonlinear problems by hand and in Abaqus.Executing a complete real-world simulation of a bolted end-plate connection, validated with experimental data.

Description
The Complete Guide to Winning Chess Middlegame PlansMaster Botvinnik's Scientific Approach to Middlegame Planning - Build Logical, Winning Strategies from the Opening to VictoryStop Guessing in the Middlegame - Start Planning Like a GrandmasterAre you tired of reaching the middlegame and not knowing what to do next?Do you often develop your pieces well but then drift without a clear plan, hoping tactics will appear by luck?If so, this course will transform how you think about chess. The Complete Guide to Winning Chess Middlegame Plans reveals the timeless planning principles of Mikhail Botvinnik, the "Engineer of Chess." Through detailed explanation, thematic study, and model games, you'll learn how to construct and execute powerful plans that convert opening ideas into real, practical wins.Instead of relying on memorised theory or random tactical tricks, you'll build a deep understanding of how to form, adapt, and execute winning plans - the skill that separates true strategists from casual players.Whether you play online or over-the-board, this 18+ hour course gives you a clear, structured system for thinking through any middlegame with confidence and purpose. What You'll Learn1. The Logic of PlanningWhat a middlegame plan really is - not a dream or a wish, but a sequence of logical, achievable steps. How to evaluate imbalances in material, pawn structure, space, and piece activity. The critical difference between static (stable) and dynamic (fast-changing) positions - and how your plans must fit each. Why "mini-plans" (2-3 moves) and "micro-plans" (single positional moves) are safer and more flexible than grand, rigid plans. How to follow the complete planning loop: Evaluate → Plan → Judge Counterplay → Execute → Re-evaluate.2. Playing to Strengths, Hiding WeaknessesHow to identify your position's natural advantages - bishop without counterpart, strong outpost, pawn majority, central control - and build plans that activate them. How to make your own weaknesses unexploitable by restricting counterplay and keeping the position stable. How to recognise when you can safely allow harmless counterplay rather than wasting time trying to stop it.Why good planning is both offensive and preventive - every improvement of your position limits your opponent's.3. Botvinnik's Scientific MethodHow Botvinnik treated chess as a discipline of analysis, not just inspiration. His step-by-step approach: stable openings → familiar structures → deeply researched plans. How his famous "Bulldozer" style gradually squeezed opponents by accumulating small, stable advantages. The role of long-term pawn structures in guiding your plan from start to finish. Why Botvinnik's consistency made him a model for the entire Soviet chess college - from Karpov and Kasparov to Kramnik.4. Pawn Structures and Planning ThemesHow pawn formations define your strategic directionUsing doubled pawns dynamically - converting so-called weaknesses into open files and attacking channels.Plans based on central pawn breaks (d5, f5, e5) - when to prepare them, when to allow them.Understanding plans in the French Defence, Semi-Slav, English, and Dutch Stonewall, where Botvinnik demonstrated how structure dictates ideas. How to exploit isolated pawns, backward pawns, and bind structures like the Maroczy to restrict counterplay and launch timely attacks.5. Pattern Learning and Neural Network ParallelsWhy modern engines like AlphaZero and Leela often "plan" like Botvinnik - building pressure methodically, valuing structure over tactics. How to train your own pattern library of recurring plans just as neural networks learn evaluation patterns. The human advantage: using understanding and emotion (the "fun filter") to match the right style to the right position.6. Planning Across Time ControlsHow planning depth must adapt to bullet, blitz, rapid, and classical games. In bullet and blitz: rely on pattern recognition and post-game reflection to repair recurring mistakes. In rapid: use short, flexible mini-plans that balance calculation with positional sense. In classical chess: master long-term plans that accumulate advantages patiently.7. Static vs Dynamic PlansRecognising when the position allows stable, long-term planning and when it demands immediate tactical readiness.Static positions (like French or Stonewall structures) reward long-range logic.Dynamic positions (like the Open Sicilian) demand short bursts of calculation and constant adjustment.Learn Botvinnik's principle: plan only when the position allows it; calculate when it demands it.8. Typical Planning Themes (from 120+ Model Games)Attacking with doubled pawns - when structural damage becomes dynamic energy.Queen and Knight coordination - exploiting dark-square weaknesses.Opposite-side castling attacks - when pawn storms race toward the kings.Central binds and domination - how to create "no-counterplay" positions.Exchange sacrifices - when giving material accelerates your plan. The bishop without a counterpart - how this imbalance becomes a long-term winning plan.Exploiting slow or planless play - how Botvinnik punished indecision.Strong outposts and knight pairs - converting positional anchors into concrete pressure.Pawn majorities and passed pawns - when the endgame plan begins in the middlegame.9. How to Think During the GamePractical decision hierarchy:Evaluate - What are the key imbalances?Plan - What does my best piece need? What pawn structure supports it?Judge counterplay - What can the opponent do in return? Is it dangerous or harmless?Execute - Play with confidence once your plan fits the position.Re-evaluate - If the position changes, don't cling to the old plan. How to avoid "paralysis by analysis" - choose a plan, commit, then refine. The importance of joy and flow: when play feels fun, your style and the position are aligned. Why Study Botvinnik's ApproachThe Father of Structured Chess ThinkingBotvinnik revolutionised chess by proving that success comes from preparation, evaluation, and consistency, not endless intuition. He built openings around predictable pawn structures, created middle games he understood better than anyone else, and converted them through steady, logical play.Long-Term Thinking Over Short-Term TricksWhile many players chase tactics, Botvinnik showed that true strength lies in building positions where tactics naturally favour you.His "bulldozer" style - reducing the opponent's options until their position collapses - remains one of the purest demonstrations of controlled strategic play.Pawn Structures as a CompassBotvinnik treated pawn formations as maps. Each structure suggests the right plan:Fixed centres = slow manoeuvring.Mobile centres = dynamic tension.Doubled pawns = open files.Isolated pawns = attacking chances and control of key squares. The Analytical Training LegacyAs mentor to Kasparov and Karpov, Botvinnik formalised the idea of self-analysis and training plans - reviewing your own games, identifying recurring mistakes, and systematically improving. You'll see how his methods still shape modern chess training today. Why This Course Is UniqueBotvinnik at the CoreThis is not a generic strategy course. Every theme connects to how Botvinnik actually played and taught - grounded in real games and his lifelong analytical discipline.Structured by ThemesEach section focuses on one recurring planning idea - from doubled pawns to bishop pairs, pawn breaks, binds, and colour-complex domination - so you can learn by pattern, not by rote.Scientific Meets PracticalYou'll see how abstract concepts translate directly into winning moves. Plans are shown in real games, explained move by move, and reinforced by recurring structures.Static to Dynamic FlowThe course gradually moves from controlled, stable plans to faster, tactical ones - helping you understand when to steer toward structure and when to unleash activity.Learn from Both Humans and MachinesAlongside Botvinnik's games, you'll glimpse modern engine insights - how neural networks like AlphaZero rediscovered principles Botvinnik pioneered decades earlier.18 + Hours of Focused ContentEvery lecture is practical, engaging, and themed for easy reference. Whether you study in order or jump between sections, each game stands alone as a self-contained lesson.Who This Course Is ForImprovers (Rated 0 - 1600) who can develop pieces but struggle to form middlegame plans.Adult learners who want a logical, scientific approach to chess rather than memorising lines.Players fascinated by Botvinnik's method and the legacy of the Soviet chess college.Students seeking structure - a clear progression from simple static plans to complex dynamic ones.Coaches or teachers looking for a complete framework to explain planning concepts through model games.By the End You'll Be Able To Evaluate any position logically and identify key imbalances. Build plans that fit the pawn structure and opening heritage. Play to your strengths and make weaknesses unexploitable. Judge whether counterplay must be stopped or can be ignored. Convert small positional advantages into lasting pressure. Recognise recurring planning patterns across openings. Apply the full planning loop during real games. Learn from your own games the way Botvinnik learned - through annotation and reflection.Course StructureIntroduction & Foundations - Why planning matters, classic quotations, and Botvinnik's influence.Practical Planning Themes - 100 + annotated Botvinnik games grouped by recurring ideas: pawn structures, colour complexes, exchange sacrifices, and more.Static vs Dynamic Planning - How to adapt your thinking as the position changes.Human vs Neural Network Planning - What engines teach us about long-term logic.Time-Control Planning - Bullet to classical, adjusting depth and intuition. Conclusion & Reflection - Building your own planning habits and training structure.PGN Download Section - Follow along with every lecture using your favourite PGN viewer. Why Planning Wins GamesTactics decide how a game is won; planning decides whether you ever get the chance.Without a plan, you drift - reacting instead of creating. With a plan, every move connects, your pieces coordinate, and your opponent's play starts to feel one step too late.Planning turns knowledge into direction. It transforms "good moves" into a coherent narrative that leads from the opening to victory.InstructorTryfon Gavriel (Kingscrusher)Tryfon has taught and played chess for over two decades, inspiring hundreds of thousands of players through courses, videos, and his popular YouTube channel. His teaching blends classical understanding with modern insight, drawing from both historical masters and cutting-edge engine discoveries. In this course, he presents Botvinnik's planning framework in a modern, practical way - giving you not just ideas to admire, but a process you can use in your own games immediately.By Learning Botvinnik's Method, You'll Also Learn:How to think long-term under pressure - patience without passivity. How to transition from opening to middlegame with clarity. How to make your position so cohesive that tactical chances appear naturally. How to train systematically - analysing your games, identifying typical plans, and creating your own "personal openings" linked to your style. How to combine structure and creativity - the mark of every great player. Why Students Love This ApproachStudents consistently report that studying planning themes this way:makes them calmer under pressure, helps them understand why master moves make sense, reduces opening confusion, andcreates measurable rating improvement.Once you internalise these planning patterns, you'll find that even your losses become instructive - each game reinforces a principle.A Timeless Approach - From Botvinnik to TodayBotvinnik's lessons live on in the play of Karpov, Kasparov, and even AlphaZero. The thread is clear: structured planning outlasts memorised moves. By mastering these principles, you'll join that lineage of players who understand chess not as chaos, but as controlled creation.Take Control of Your MiddlegameIf you've ever felt lost after the opening - unsure of which plan to follow, where to attack, or how to convert an advantage - this course is your roadmap. You'll learn to think like a master engineer of the board: evaluating, planning, and executing with confidence.Enroll now, and start building the planning habits that win real games. The Complete Guide to Winning Chess Middlegame Plans -Learn from the Engineer of Chess. Plan with logic. Win with purpose.

Genre: eLearning | Language: English
A course covering the way light reacts on several surfaces. I would highly recommend you check out both Sam Nielson's work and all of the classes collegeism has to offer. I can not describe how beneficial this course has been to my painting and thought process behind an image. If you are not familiar with collegeism, it is an online college with classes being taught by working professionals. Each course consists of nine lessons that are made available to watch every week once you are enrolled in a class. There is a week given to finish the assignment. Once submitted, the teacher will screen record his/her critique, which is typically anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes of highly detailed information where you can watch your teacher paint right on top of your original image explaining what was successful and what needs improvement.

The Economist Audio Edition - October 25, 2025
English | 8 h 1 m | MP3 | 212 MB
"It is not only The Economist's name that people find baffling. Here are some other common questions.
First, why does it call itself a newspaper? Even when The Economist incorporated the Bankers' Gazette and Railway Monitor from 1845 to 1932, it also described itself as "a political, literary and general newspaper".
It still does so because, in addition to offering analysis and opinion, it tries in each issue to cover the main events-business and political-of the week. It goes to press on Thursdays and, printed simultaneously in six countries, is available in most of the world's main cities the following day or soon after. Readers everywhere get the same editorial matter. The advertisements differ. The running order of the sections, and sometimes the cover, also differ. But the words are the same, except that each week readers in Britain get a few extra pages devoted to British news.
Why is it anonymous? Many hands write The Economist, but it speaks with a collective voice. Leaders are discussed, often disputed, each week in meetings that are open to all members of the editorial staff. Journalists often co-operate on articles. And some articles are heavily edited. The main reason for anonymity, however, is a belief that what is written is more important than who writes it. As Geoffrey Crowther, editor from 1938 to 1956, put it, anonymity keeps the editor "not the master but the servant of something far greater than himself. You can call that ancestor-worship if you wish, but it gives to the paper an astonishing momentum of thought and principle."

collegeism - 901 Indigo Bleu with Thomas Fluharty
Duration: 8h 16m | .M4V 1920x1080 30 fps® | AAC, 44100 Hz, 2ch | 8.06 GB
Genre: eLearning | Language: English
As an artist, you are only as good as you can draw. But don't despair, this class will get your drawing skills to the next level!
Think of this as my advanced drawing class. Regardless of how well you can paint, your artistic ceiling is set by your ability to draw. This may be a strong statement but it's one that I hold to be true. As a reasonably accomplished painter, I would insist that my painting skills only complement and build upon my drawing skills, not the other way around.
So with this in mind, I have unpacked my 40-ish years of drawing experience into this class, breaking my techniques and methods down using classical instruction, a hint of caricature and exaggeration, a lot of passion, and a hyper intense love for drawing.
I do a lot of demos in this course and you will be expected to do a LOT of drawing for your assignments. My tool of choice in this class (and in my own work) is a 901 Indigo Bleu pencil, which has its own unique nuances and uses, which I will talk about throughout.
To answer the inevitable question: yes, you CAN choose to do this class using some other pencil (after all, as awesome as a 901 Indigo Bleu pencil is, it won't magically make you draw better) but nevertheless I highly recommend the 901 Indigo Bleu pencil. You'll see why in this class.

MindValley - Amplify with AI
Released 5/2025
By Vishen - Founder and CEO of Mindvalley, Manon Dave - Creative Director and composer, Vykintas Glodenis - Vykintas Glodenis
MP4 | Video: h264, 1920x1080 | Audio: AAC, 44.1 KHz, 2 Ch
Genre: eLearning | Language: English | Duration: 21 Lessons ( 4h 46m ) | Size: 5.91 GB
Create tools that think like you, support your goals, and give you time, clarity, and creative flow in just 21 days - all while quietly placing you among the world's top AI users
Does it feel like the AI revolution started. and you already missed it?
AI isn't here to replace you. It's here to reveal you.
AI is already shaping the world around you - and if you've felt behind, overwhelmed, or unsure where to start, you're not alone.
Most people are stuck in "AI limbo": dabbling with prompts, watching TikToks, trying hacks - but never getting real, lasting results.
Why? Because no one trained you to thrive in this new world. Instead, you're left to figure it out solo - with zero structure, zero confidence, and a growing sense that maybe the ship has already sailed.
The truth? You don't need to code. You don't need to chase prompts. And you're not too late.
You just need the right method - one that works with your brain, your creativity, and your real life.
Imagine designing your own wellness coach. A journaling partner that helps you process emotions. A personal brand writer. A travel planner. A music collaborator. A business assistant that drafts, schedules, and refines your content.
That's what happens inside Amplify with AI - a 21-day journey where you use the world's top tools (like ChatGPT, Midjourney, and Suno) to solve real problems in your real life.
You won't be memorizing prompts or watching dry tutorials. You'll be building things you didn't think were possible - and having fun doing it.
And while you're creating, you'll be absorbing the kind of transferable AI fluency that quietly puts you among the world's most capable users - light years ahead of the dabblers.
No burnout. No overwhelm. Just one tool at a time. One win at a time. Until AI isn't something you try - it's something that amplifies you.
What You'll Learn
Why 'prompt engineering' is completely backwards
How a simple 3-step framework used by top AI researchers gets you 10X clearer results across any tool.
The "Clone Yourself" workflow that lets you train ChatGPT to think like you
Write full blog posts, emails, and DMs that sound uncannily like your best self.
How to build your own custom AI personal assistant in 15 minutes
Take chatGPT out for a spin in the real world, creating powerful assistants from your outputs that automate the 5 tasks you keep avoiding.
A zero-music-experience way to create studio-quality songs
Using a tool called Suno and a strange little exercise borrowed from Pixar screenwriters, you'll create your personal hype-track (you'll finish this one and instantly want to share it.)
The forgotten ChatGPT setting that flips it from generic advice machine to deeply personal strategist
Even therapists and coaches are starting to use this with clients.
Create breathtaking visuals in the blink of an eye
How to use Midjourney and Canva together to design pitch decks, social visuals, or vision boards that look custom - even if you can't draw a stick figure.
Why the "AI fluency elite" don't study tools
What they do instead to stay years ahead of the masses - you'll start doing this naturally by the end of week 1.
