Dear Friends

I hope you're all doing well.

I wanted to give you a quick update on my situation.

For the last few days, I’ve been feeling really under the weather.

What started as a cold turned into a fever, and I’ve been getting regular fevers. Today, I’m completely down.

I went to the doctor’s office, where they ran some tests and prescribed some medication.

I’m hoping to feel better soon and get back to writing and sharing updates with you all.

I just wanted to let you know that I’ve written a few updates today, but honestly, none of them felt right.

Given that I’m not feeling 100% and my mind isn’t fully there, I think it’s better if I take a couple of days to rest and recover properly.

I’m hoping to be back to writing soon and will make sure the updates are worth the wait.

I ask for your patience and understanding during this time, and I apologize for not being able to write much while I recover.

Hopefully, I’ll be back at it soon.

In the meanwhile, please feel free to share your ideas on how the story can unfold and what you think will happen next. I’m really curious to see your guesses and thoughts!

Thank you for your understanding, and I appreciate your patience during this time.

Best regards,

Hi Hotyyhard

Thank you so much for your kind words!

I’ll definitely take it easy and rest up. Still dealing with a bit of fever, but honestly, I’m getting bored just lying around.

I think I’ll try to write something to pass the time. Hopefully, I’ll be back to full strength soon!

Thank you once again for your support.

Warm regards

Hi everyone,

As mentioned earlier, I'm working on writing something, though I’m still not feeling completely back to normal and am dealing with a mild fever.

If you notice any mistakes or inconsistencies, please feel free to point them out, I will fix them.

I might not be fully sharp right now.

Thanks for your understanding!

4:25 PM – The Buzz

Soon after Ravi left the flat, 401, his phone vibrated lightly.

Sirisha:
Just found out you left!!
I thought you would stop by in my room to help me with my project work

Sirisha:
Come on Bhayya, please also help me, not just Neethu Bhabhi!!

He smiled, typing slowly.

Ravi:
That’s not fair. You had me from 8 to 10 already today. You just want to own my full Thursday now

Sirisha:
Obvi
Please come na… I have a few doubts.
Actually I want to show you my room.
Please Bhayya, come back, just for some time.

Ravi:
OK, coming now.  But you have to let me go in an hour,
I have to finish a few things today.

Sirisha:
OK Bhayya
I promise you can go in an hour.
See you soon.

He chuckled, thinking how light she made his world feel.

As he returned to 401, he found Neetu working in the Kitchen. Before he could say anything

Neetu noticed.

So did Sirisha.

Sirisha reached over and gently grabbed his wrist. “Come to my room,  I want to show you the draft slides before I mail them to the professor.”

Ravi nodded, brushing imaginary lint off his shirt as he stood.

Sirisha turned back and smiled at Neetu. “We won’t take long.”

Neetu waved her hand lazily, the golden bangles on her wrist clinking gently. “Go. But don’t try converting him, Sirisha. He’s still under warranty.”

Sirisha laughed, tugging Ravi by the wrist now. “You think I can’t?”

Neetu watched them walk away, the soft smile never leaving her face.

But behind her calm, her eyes followed the curve of Ravi’s back just a moment longer than necessary.

Hi readersp

Thank you so much! Yes, still getting the fever, but once I got into the habit of writing, not writing actually feels boring now!

Can't just take rest.  I will be a bit slow now, with all that typing, but I will continue to write. This makes me feel better.

Really enjoying the process. Appreciate your kind wishes!

Warm regards

The Room with Pink Secrets

Sirisha’s room was a soft riot of colors and energy, just like her.

The moment Ravi stepped in, he paused.

It smelled faintly of rose talc, a hint of shampoo,

And something sweet, like candied musk.

The curtains were floral, pink with soft yellow suns stitched into the edges.

A half-read book lay open on her pillow.

Her mirror was scattered with hair clips, kajal sticks, and an open lip balm, still glistening.

There was a worn plush bunny on the side table and a sleek silver laptop that sat beside a few pages of scrawled notes.

A long mirror stood angled to the right, partly hidden behind a standing laundry basket.

It was a lived-in space.

A girl's space.

Her space.

Ravi swallowed lightly.

“You can sit there,” she pointed to the edge of her bed,

Casually tossing her phone aside and sitting cross-legged on the other side,

The laptop opening with a soft chime between them.

Her jeans hugged her thighs as she shifted forward.

The crop top, though not tight,

Curved around her upper body in ways that Ravi had learned to politely ignore, and yet never quite forget.

He sat down, carefully.

Not too close.

Not too far.

“Why do you look like you just stepped into a temple?” she teased,

Nudging his arm.

“This does feel like… sacred ground,” he said, half joking.

Her eyes sparkled.

“Aww, so respectful! But Bhayya, you’re safe. There’s no alarm that’ll go off if you breathe.”

He smiled, glancing around. “You didn’t warn me you were this… girly.”

“Excuse me!” she mock gasped. “I’m classy. Not just girly.”

She leaned forward a bit and grabbed her diary.

“Look. These are my initial ideas for the intro slide. Don’t judge the handwriting.”

He took the pages from her. Her fingers grazed his just a second longer than necessary.

“Not bad,” he murmured. “Clean. Organized.”

“You sound surprised,” she narrowed her eyes.

“I just didn’t think you would be so… meticulous.”

“I’m full of surprises,” she said quietly, holding his gaze. “You haven’t even seen half of me.”

Ravi blinked.

Sirisha grinned. “I meant my talents, Bhayya! Stop imagining things.”

He chuckled, and she watched the way his lips moved, as if quietly storing away the memory.

“You’re really different here,” he said. “In this room. Like… a bit calmer.”

She looked away, brushing her fingers across her blanket in small circles. “This is my space. I’m always my softest here.”

The silence that followed wasn’t awkward, it was layered.

Thick with a kind of young tension,

Tender curiosity,

And something quietly growing between them.

“Do you always bring boys here?” he asked softly.

She looked up, slightly startled.

Then laughed. “No! You’re the first. And the last, maybe.”

His heart twitched in a strange way.

“That special, huh?” he joked.

Sirisha leaned in, her voice playful but her eyes serious. “You have no idea.”

He turned to face the laptop, suddenly too aware of how close they were now.

But her voice broke the hush again. “Can I ask you something?”

“Sure.”

“Do you think… I’m still childish?”

He looked at her, her cheeks slightly pink,

Her eyes dipped in something softer now.

His gaze moved from her eyes to her lips, bare, pink, bitten—and then quickly away.

“No,” he said. “You’re young. But not childish. There’s a big difference.”

She smiled, relief slipping into her features. “I was hoping you’d say that.”

“And why does it matter what I think?”

Her voice dropped, just a touch. “Because I want to matter to you.”

A pause.

Then she stood up abruptly. “Okay, too many feelings! Back to work.”

He smiled, watching her walk to her dresser and grab a pen.

Her waist curved gently, her top lifting just enough to reveal a strip of skin between denim and cotton.

The smooth line of her back, that soft sway of youthful energy, it was impossible not to notice.

She turned, caught him looking, and raised an eyebrow. “You sure you came to help with slides?”

He lifted his hands in surrender. “Guilty. But I can multitask.”

Sirisha laughed, and it rang through the room like something free and alive.

Then she sat beside him again

Their shoulders nearly touching this time.

Not an accident.

Sirisha's Bedroom and Her Perfume

Ravi was still adjusting to the feel of Sirisha's room, sunlight filtering through the lavender curtains,

The quiet scent of rose talc and something faintly fruity in the air.

Sirisha stood near the mirror, tying her hair into a loose bun.

“You like this place?” she asked casually, catching his eye in the mirror.

Ravi smiled. “It’s… you.”

“What does that mean?” she turned around, mock frowning.

He looked around, shrugging. “A little wild. A little sweet. Very… pink.”

She picked up a small bottle from her table and wiggled it toward him.

“Perfume. Want to try?”

Ravi chuckled, backing a step. “Isn’t that dangerous? Trying a girl’s perfume?”

“Oh come on, Bhayya. It’s not poison. Just try a spray.”

She stepped forward, grinning. Before he could say anything, she lightly sprayed near his wrist.

A soft mist lingered between them.

He sniffed. “Fruity.”

“Fruity good or fruity headache?”

“Fruity tempting,” he said, locking eyes for a heartbeat too long.

She raised her eyebrows and gave a lopsided smile.

Then she said it, casually, but with unmistakable challenge.

“Try it on me then… If you’re not scared.”

His throat dried. “What?”

Sirisha turned around, lifting her hair and exposing the nape of her neck.

A smooth, glowing stretch of skin, framed by the thin strap of her crop top.

Her back arched just a little. She didn’t move.

“Just here. Don’t be shy. I won’t bite.”

The Perfume on Her Neck

Sirisha stood there in front of him,

Her hair lifted casually with one hand,

Exposing the elegant arch of her bare neck and upper back.

The gentle curve of her spine,

The soft glisten of her skin in the afternoon light, all of it quietly stunning.

“Just here,” she said, tipping her chin slightly.

“You can handle that, right?”

Ravi didn’t answer right away.

The small perfume bottle felt strangely heavy in his fingers now, not because of the object, but because of what it meant.

He stepped closer

His eyes dropped to the nape of her neck.

The skin was flawless, a light golden, cream tone, smooth and gently flushed with warmth.

A single mole sat just above her shoulder blade, almost like a mark he wasn’t meant to see, but she had shown it to him.

He raised the bottle slowly.

His other hand instinctively hovered near her back, steadying himself.

But he didn’t touch. Not yet.

He brought the nozzle close, just two inches from her skin.

He could feel the subtle heat of her body, the tension that had crept into the space between them.

He hesitated, eyes fixed on her neck.

Then... pffft   a gentle mist.

The perfume landed like a whisper.

A glistening sheen formed on her skin for just a moment before vanishing.

But it wasn’t the mist that froze him

It was her reaction.

Sirisha exhaled.

A soft, involuntary breath.

Her shoulders dropped slightly, as if surrendering to the sensation.

Still holding her hair up with one hand, she turned her head slightly, eyes closed, as if inviting more.

Ravi stood still, but his eyes wandered, just a little longer.

He noticed the way her skin caught the sunlight from the window.

The shimmer of the mist.

The outline of her delicate back.

The faint outline of her bra strap pressing under the fabric of her top,

So light it looked like it might slip off with a gust of wind.

He lowered the bottle and stood there, still just inches behind her.

“Done?” she asked softly, not moving.

His voice came out lower than usual. “I’m not sure.”

She turned just a little more, glancing over her shoulder, a teasing curve on her lips.

“Need another spray?”

His eyes met hers.

The answer to that question wasn’t about perfume at all.

And they both knew it.

But Ravi smiled, playing along.

“I don’t want to waste it. It smells expensive.”

Sirisha let her hair fall back, brushing lightly against his hand.

She didn’t apologize.

Didn’t move away.

Instead, she turned around slowly to face him, the bottle still between them.

For a second, neither spoke.

She reached out and gently took the bottle from his hand.

Her fingers brushed against his.

Warm. Soft. Lightly trembling.

Then she stepped back.

“Not bad, Bhayya,” she said,

Slipping the bottle back onto her shelf. “You sprayed it like a pro.”

Ravi exhaled, a breath he hadn’t realized he was holding.

“You made it hard,” he said.

“Did I?” She tilted her head. “Or did you just… forget to blink?”

He laughed. A little too late.

Sirisha grinned and turned away, walking toward the speaker in her room as if nothing had happened.

But the faint color in her cheeks, and the way her fingers played with the edge of her top, told him otherwise.

And Ravi, he sat down on her bed, still tasting the scent of her skin in the air,

Realizing this moment would replay in his mind again and again.

Not because he had sprayed a perfume.

But because she had let him.

Hi readersp

Thank you so much!

I'm glad the tension is coming through, it's really fun to build that up. I feel better when I am writing, just sleeping and taking rest was boring.  Hahaha.

Your support means a lot. I'll definitely keep them coming. Take care too!

With warm regards

The Music and the Glance

She suddenly walked to her speaker and connected her phone.

“Let me play something. I always listen to this when I’m alone.”

A soft, slow instrumental filled the room.

Something acoustic, with the gentle rise of strings.

It immediately made the air feel softer, warmer.

“Here. Sit.” She patted a corner of her bed.

“Let’s just listen. No talking.”

He sat, half on the bed, half off.

“Is this your thinking music?” he asked, quietly.

“Hmm.” Her voice had dropped a note. “This is my... feeling music.”

They listened. Just that.

No phones. No notifications.

Breathing close.

The kind of silence that holds more than words.

He turned his head.

She was already looking at him.

Not smiling.

Just… looking.

A second too long.
