Adultery Priya Didi
Sirisha from 401 - Intro

It was almost noon.

Ravi had been staring at his screen for a good twenty minutes,

Barely reading the words.

Lines of code and requirements blurred in his mind

Replaced by Priya’s voice from earlier that morning.

Her eyes. The way she said his name.

A strange silence had lingered between them ever since.

Ravi worked from the second bedroom, the door half-closed.

He hadn’t stepped out since breakfast.

His phone buzzed.

New number. Local.

He answered.

“Hello?”

“Hi! Is this Ravi?”

The voice was youthful, brisk, cheerful, and full of life.

“Yes, speaking.”

“Heyyy! I’m Sirisha. I live in 401. Amit bhayya said you might help me with a small project. My brother spoke to him yesterday?”

“Oh, yes. I was expecting your call,” Ravi said, sitting up a little straighter.

“Whew! Okay, great,” she giggled. “I was nervous calling. My hands were literally sweating, don’t ask me why.”

He laughed. “First project anxiety?”

“Exactly. It’s for my HCI course (Human Computer Interaction), third semester. I already have the layout, I just need help fixing it and making it look like... not a disaster.”

“Sounds like something we can fix.”

“Thank god,” she sighed. “Amit bhayya said you’re cool and won’t make me cry. I’m trusting him.”

Ravi smiled. “I try my best.”

“Oh and by the way,” Sirisha added, “Priya Didi also said you’re very sweet.”

That caught him slightly off guard.

“You spoke to her?”

“Of course! Priya Didi’s the nicest person in this building. And honestly… she’s sooo pretty, I lowkey thought she was some model when we first moved in.”

Ravi felt a warmth spread through him.

“She helped my mom a lot during lockdown,” Sirisha continued. “And whenever we talk, she never acts older or serious. Just very… graceful, no?”

“She is,” Ravi said quietly. “She really is.”

Sirisha didn’t notice the shift in his tone.

“So when should I come bug you?”

“Later this evening?” Ravi said. “After four? I’ll be done by then.”

“Perfect. I’ll message you before I come.”

“Sure.”

“Oh, and I’ll bring snacks. I don’t visit anyone empty-handed.”

Ravi smiled. “You’re full of rules.”

“I’m full of drama,” she laughed. “See you, Ravi!”

She hung up.

Ravi stared at his phone for a moment, still smiling.

She had energy like sunlight, easy, natural, unfiltered.

A complete contrast to Priya’s silent intensity.

And yet, when he stepped out for a glass of water,

He caught sight of Priya sitting at the dining table,

slowly flipping through a magazine without looking at the pages.

Still quiet. Still distant.

But for the first time in days,

A new energy had entered the story.

And it had come from 401.

Hi Pardhu garu

Thank you so much for your compliments and encouragement! ?

I'm so happy you noticed the little twist with Sireesha.

It's always exciting to tap on the emotions and character dynamics like that.

The story is getting a good twist now. I promise there are more surprises in store.

Your support truly means a lot to me and keeps me inspired to write more. Stay tuned for the next updates!

Hi All,

I need your help.

I received a very good suggestion to compare the characters with heroines.

Which would in turn help you all visualize the character and sequences in more realistic way.

We already established Priya Didi as the most elegant and the most beautiful lady.

Each one of you must have your version of Priya Didi in your mind.

I don't want to change that image.

But I am going to Introduce Sirisha, a 2nd year Btech student.  The girl next door.

(I am thinking of starting a new story "The Girl Next Door", after completing one of our stories.  I thought of some plot for that.  But I don't want to start too many parallel stories.  My hands are already very full with these two parallel stories.)

I want you to suggest some heroines with their pictures.

I will give Sirisha's profile I have in my mind.

Maybe that will help you to visualize and suggest some names.

I really appreciate your suggestions in this matter.  Please help me finalize this.

Hi Raj087

Thank you for your quick suggestion.  Please add her best picture you have in mind, so that we all know how she looks and it gives people a perspective when reading the thread.

I also want to listen suggestions from our friends.

Hi All

Another character I am going to introduce is "Neetu".  She will be Sirisha's sister-in-law.  We will also introduce Sirisha's brother as well.  His name is Vamsi.

Please give your heroine suggestions for Neetu

Here is Neetu's profile

Neetu – The Elegant Flame
  • Age: Around 25
  • Relationship: Married to Sirisha’s elder brother, Vamsi (age 26 or 27)
  • Living: In Flat 401 with Vamsi and Sirisha
  • Language/Culture: Telugu-speaking, well-adjusted to Mumbai life
  • Appearance:
    • Exceptionally fair, with a natural radiance that stands out
    • Gracefully built, with generous curves, dignified elegance
    • A balance of sensuous and traditional. Her eyes linger, her smiles feel mischief
    • Prefers elegant outfits: gagras, sarees, or fitted salwars, often dressed to impress
  • Personality:
    • Charming, warm, and talkative
    • Often teasing but always balanced, never crosses the line overtly, especially in Priya’s presence
    • She is flirty, bold, and enjoys other people's attention.
    • Pure at heart.  No ill feelings. But cannot stop flirting with everyone.

Please give your suggestions with pictures.

Warm regards

Introduction of Priya: The Gen Z Spark

It was 4:25 PM when the doorbell rang.

Ravi stretched, saved his work, and walked to the door

A quick glance through the peephole, and there she was

Sirisha, standing with a wide smile and a small box in her hands.

He opened the door and paused for a moment.

Sirisha stood there with a half-teasing, half-innocent smile.

She looked like she had walked straight out of a music reel:

Sleek black leggings,

A slightly oversized white crop top knotted at her waist,

And white sneakers that still somehow looked spotless.

A simple silver chain around her neck,

Apple watch strapped casually,

And those expressive, kohl-lined eyes that danced with casual mischief.

Her skin was porcelain-fair, glowing with the fresh sharpness of college life

And the effortless confidence that came from being loved in every group she walked into.

Her long, wavy hair was clipped up in a casual claw,

Letting loose strands fall over her cheeks just right, clearly unbothered, yet perfectly styled.

“Hi… Ravi bhayya?” she asked, gently.

Ravi smiled. “Yes. And you must be Sirisha?”

Sirisha nodded. “I hope I’m not too early.”

“Not at all. Come in.”

“I, um… brought this,” she said

Handing over the cake box. “It’s banana walnut. My Babhi made it.”

Ravi smiled. “You didn’t have to.”

“I know. But I thought…” she paused,

Brushing a lock of hair behind her ear. “You know, first time… it felt right.”

Her voice was light and a bit fast.

Not nervous—but sweetly self-aware,

like someone who hadn’t yet learned to hide her sincerity.

Just then, Priya walked out from the kitchen.

She was in casual cottons, a oversized peach T-shirt and soft grey track pants.

But she looked like something the afternoon sun had painted softly across the home.

“Sirisha!” she smiled.

“Hi Priya Didi!” Sirisha said, suddenly brighter.

“You came just in time. Tea’s almost ready.”

Sirisha nodded, glancing at Ravi and then back at Priya.

“Amit bhayya told me Ravi will be helping you,” Priya said kindly.

“He’s good with tech. Better than me, that’s for sure.”

“Thank god,” Sirisha giggled.

“I’ve been trying to make my app not crash every time I breathe.”, said Sirisha

Priya laughed, then turned to Ravi. “You two sit. I’ll get chai.”

As she walked away, Sirisha watched her with a small smile.

Then, to Ravi, she whispered almost childishly, “She’s so pretty, no?”

Ravi didn’t answer, he simply smiled.

Inside his room,

Sirisha set up her laptop carefully and took a moment to glance around.

She sat at the edge of the chair, knees together,

back a little straight, prim, but not stiff.

“So, um…” she looked at him shyly, “you really don’t mind helping?”

“Not at all,” Ravi said. “Let’s take a look.”

She leaned over slightly

Showing him the simple UI she had designed.

As Sirisha leaned over the table to show him

Her shoulder lightly brushed his arm.

She didn’t pull back.

She didn’t even blink.

Ravi shifted slightly

Not because he was uncomfortable,

But because he suddenly felt… observed.

He turned his head.

From the hallway, Priya was walking away, slowly, the towel still in her hand

Sirisha's voice became playful again as she showed her code,

Making jokes about how “the page loads like a snail”

And calling her own naming conventions “a national embarrassment.”

A few minutes later, Priya entered with chai and a small bowl of murukku.

She placed them on the desk without interrupting.

Her smile was calm, her footsteps silent.

She didn’t say much, but her presence shifted the room.

Sirisha sat straighter.

Ravi noticed.

“Thank you, Didi,” Sirisha said, almost with reverence.

Priya smiled and left.

Sirisha took her cup and sipped slowly.

Her pinky finger curled unconsciously.

Then she glanced again at Ravi, this time with more ease.

“You know bhayya,” she said softly

“I was actually a little scared before coming.”

“Why?”

“I don’t know,” she shrugged.

“You sounded so… serious on the call. I thought maybe you’d be all techy and formal. But you’re actually… normal.”

Ravi laughed. “You’ll figure out I’m not serious at all.”

“I already did.”

They both smiled.

Her eyes lingered for a second too long.

Then she looked down at her laptop, pretending to scroll.

But Ravi had seen it.

And in that moment,

A new energy quietly slipped into the house,

Gentler than desire, lighter than flirtation.

Just possibility.

But his focus had slipped.

Somewhere between the scent of banana cake,

The warmth of chai,

And Priya’s silent steps down the hallway

Something had shifted again.

Hi everyone

Just a quick reminder:

I’m still waiting to hear your suggestions for the character comparison with heroines!

As I mentioned earlier, this will really help all of us visualize the characters and sequences more vividly.

You’ve all formed your own image of Priya Didi, and I love that. I don’t want to disturb that imagination.

Now, I’m working on introducing Sirisha,  a 2nd year BTech student, the classic girl next door, and I’d love your help in choosing a fitting actress or heroine to represent her, along with a picture if possible.

I truly value your input, and your suggestions will shape how we all experience the story. Please do share your ideas when you get a moment!

Thanks again for being such a supportive and involved group!
