Adultery Knowing My Wife, Knowing Me As Well - part III
(Yesterday, 09:37 AM)a2011 Wrote: A fairytale ending with Meera and Krish together and them kicking Desai out of their life and living happily ever after...feels weird and concocted at this point, even though that's what most readers are suggesting. I hope the ending is more nuanced and the real complexities of love is what's explored in the last chapter. Separation I think is what is needed for Krish and Meera and Desai, to live more fulfiling lives without each other, than living in this turmoil where all are manipulating each other.

I would honestly take a fairytale ending over a realistic one because lets face it nothing in this relationship can be deemed "realistic" for the things they have done. To make the couple go through all the hurdles of life and have them separate is a very condescending ending. I would accept a separation ending only if there is spin off where we will see Krish's next adventure in his life finding love or some other thing rather than end the story with Meera and Krish going separate ways. The separation negates the whole purpose and idea of the story. They set the story up where the couple eventually finds their way to each other and it should be the ideal ending. But there should be change , their way of life and their mindset must change. No more cuckolding , no more kinks. Only kink allowed in their life should be their love for each other thats it. That is the best ending for them , for them to choose each other and forever hold onto each other in this lifetime.

The same ending again is boring and repetitive, even if they kick Desai out of their life...they might be lovey dovey for sometime and then the same insecurities will come back again and the story can go on and on like a loop when another Desai shows up. To begin a new story, the author must end this one with a separation...love isnt a fairy tale for anyone...separation isn't a failure of love, it's just knowing that you have grown out and seeking new horizon instead of being stuck in the same repeating pattern...

It won't be same ending, it will be an ending or some kind of conclusion to Krish's cuckold nature, It will be conclusion to Meera's feelings on things that she is missing in her life and a new beginning. Last time they separated for different reasons and not for things that is making their life miserable. So there won't be a pattern that will repeat again if they were to come together.

I hope the author doesn't take this simplistic and expected route...

Its not about taking expected route nor its about giving an outcome that no one can anticipate. Its about doing justice to the characters. If you read all three parts together then you will understand one simple fact that Krish will only move on from Meera ever only if he believes that she has some one in her life, Here he thinks its Desai but we all know that's not true. If he knew Desai is not in the picture maybe he would give his 100% effort to not be a cuckold for Meera if she insists on it which she never did till now. With out even exploring that option in the story even once, how can we conclude that only logical ending is to split them.

So why would they split and how will Krish survive with out her if he knows she doesn't love Desai? You think that's realistic ending but I think that ending has proven wrong last time. So its not about repeating that ending but give a meaning to their love story at the end.

Irrespective , what we think author knows how to end it. Lets see what is in store for last chapter.

Just because Krish wants the best for Meera doesn't mean he wants to live on with her after the images of betrayal and disrespect have been etched into his mind...he is doing what he can for Meera's happiness, but what about his own happiness. He has to take a stand for his own respect. It isn't in his best interest to stay on...what is left in this relationship for him...? Nothing...just exploitation of his nature by both Meera and Desai...his redemption is to leave with dignity as a man...Let's wait for the author, he has done an incredible job and the ending would be incredible whatever it is...

What happened to his respect when he slept with Maithrei? What happened to his self respect when at one point he had intimate feelings for Parvathi, then he had short misstep with her daughter in last episode. People talk about morals but their fav character doesn't have one to boast about. Krish is the most flawed character in this story, only glorious thing he ever did better than any one in this story is to love Meera unconditionally and you guys want that taken away from him while he keeps all other flaws with him lol
Meera never exploited him and his fantasies, even last episode she could exploit it as planned with Desai but she came back and asked to start a family with Krish knowing only that option will forge them back to their marriage and love. She knows starting family will give them strength and distraction to keep Desai away. So when did she exploit his weakness?

Why doesn't readers get that in this story sleeping with some one is not cheating unless they are betrayed through love. Meera did not love Desai so what's etched in his mind is his misunderstanding and you will see it in last chapter. Standing by his feat and getting away from Meera is not self respect, that's cowardly, Instead of fighting his fantasies, his cuckold nature, he is running away. He needs to be the man, change himself and claim his wife back and prove to Desai that his assumptions about his nature are wrong..that's respect.

Change himself and claim his wife back, for respect? lol...that's kinda absurd. Krish is messed up in his mind but has gotten some clarity about the manipulations playing around him...Meera knows she will not find a wimp like Krish again, so she wants to have a baby with him, so that he can't leave, so that he can't choose what he really wants....this is just another play to screw Krish over...Krish has the chance now to leave and not look back and stop being a pawn in Meera and Desai chess game...

Lol, 70% of the readers here want Krish and Meera back and think its not unrealistic like me, so they are all arrogant know it all cucks in real life :Smile..we can see who is dumbfuck here.

You are saying Meera asked for a child from Krish because she wants to lock a wimp husband so she won't get another wimp, man your comprehension skills are at toddler level at this point on this story so don't embarrass yourself more. Its just a story, do not go personal on other readers. If you can argue amicably do it or leave it.

This would be my last message with you, chill.

You seems to have a lot of misconception about Meera. But anyways since you wanna suggest a more "realistic" ending. There is a much more realistic ending for that. And that is Krish completely abandoning Meera and moving away since he is heartbroken and want to move away from her after hearing the betrayal. But on the storyline stand point that won't work , because the story since part 1 has clearly stated how much of an unconditional love Krish has towards Meera. Which is why I believe separation is not the answer because the sins were committed by both of them not one of them.

As for Meera , she never wanted Krish to be a "wimp". Matter of fact its the opposite of what Meera wants from Krish. Meera wants her old husband back not the one who is still lost in his kink. Yes , she cheated on Krish with Desai  but she was never proud about it , her feelings are still towards Krish. When Desai insisted that Meera should seek permission to Krish about her visit to the resort , Meera didn't tell Krish because she is already feeling guilty of her actions. She cannot stop the advances and cravings for Desai , but at the same time she cannot loose Krish. Just like how Krish was obsessed with his kinks , Meera was obsessed with her cravings of Desai.

But now Krish has overcome his kink because he chose his love over his obsession. Now its Meera's turn to choose her love for Krish over her cravings. That is the only way this story can end , with both of them who have started this game together to end it together. It doesn't make sense for them to fall apart when the whole point of the entire storyline starting from part 1 has been their messed up love for each other.

There is no good or bad people in this story. Its a messed up scenario between messed up individuals , I was the biggest advocator for exploring Krish's character to something bigger , but I realized that is not the point of his character. He was always built as a simple man who fell victim to his fantasies , there is no other trait that exist for that character to explore. You cannot just tell the story of a common man names Surinder Sahni(Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi) and then by the end turn him into Don , that is simply not feasible.

For the basic theme of the story , I can only see Meera and Krish uniting and becoming a couple , separating them for the sake of it beats the whole point of the story.
