Description
Corazon Bryant always had an artistic bone in her body. When she was only 2 years old, she would make detailed drawings on her mother's wall. Her mother loved the drawings so much, she decided to keep them. With the encouragement of her mother, she continued drawing and she only got better as time went by. When Corazon was in middle and high college, she earned money making portraits for her classmates and even for her teachers. She pursued a college degree in Media Arts & Animation and later worked for architectural and entertainment companies such as Camm Productions, ID DI Design, and PDT International. She also had an opportunity to do some freelance work for Mega Pickle Entertainment. While working as a 3D artist, she had a chance to teach 3D animation classes in an A+ college. This is when she found her true love - which is not only to talk about 3D endlessly but to also inspire greatness in young upcoming artists. Corazon is currently working on a new project called Victory 3D with fellow industry-experienced artists to provide an affordable and effective learning system that will make it easier for students to get a job in the 3D industry.Course InfoIf you are struggling to create a good looking character, that's because you have not yet mastered the human anatomy. If you have tried several times to create a realistic character, but saw very little or no improvements at all, that's because you have not taken the time to truly understand the underlying structure of the human body. Don't worry, my name is Corazon Bryant, professional 3d artist and educator. In this course, I will teach you the human anatomy in depth. We will start out by learning all about the bones of the body. By understanding the bony landmarks, we will be able to track the connections of muscles and understand their form. Gaining knowledge of the skeletal system makes it easier for us to sculpt a realistic looking human body. We will learn all about each individual muscle that appear on the surface of the skin. We will understand where each muscle starts and where it ends, that way when we are sculpting, we are placing the muscles accurately. When you are sculpting a character, whether you are using references or straight from your imagination, it's important to accurately depict their correct attachment points, otherwise you will just end up with a very weird looking character. We will learn about proportions and how the male and female body is different from each other. I will show you how you can study the anatomy the right way so you can achieve great results. By dissecting each surface forms that we see on the real photos, we can get clarity of what we are drawing or sculpting, that way we are not just guessing, but actually sculpting with thought and precision. After we get acclimated with the human anatomy, we will apply what we have learned to create a character from scratch. We start by defining the basic shape and structure of the character. Then we we will add layers of detail like wrinkles and pores to really make our character come to life. To make our character pop out, we will go through the process of texturing. We begin by creating clean UVs for our character so our colors and textures will line up correctly and seamlessly. We will then project our high poly details to our low poly mesh and bake our texture map. We will create realistic skin blemishes to provide depth to our character and construct a skin shader that will really make our character look believable. Using Blender's powerful hair system, we go through the process of creating hair for our character's head and body. We will shape the hair by sculpting and using geometry nodes To give our character mobility and personality, we will go through the process of rigging. We start by setting up the skeletal system where we can adjust individual joints to make our character pose in anyway we can imagine. Last we will take our work into Photoshop or any free 2d software that you like so we can enhance our character and create an appealing background. If you are ready to create a 3d character that actually looks like a human character, then the Anatomy and Character Creation course in Blender in just for you. You will learn everything you need to be able to make incredibly detailed and lifelike characters. Take your character creations skills to the next level, come and join this course at Victory3D.

Utopia and Terror in the 20th Century [TTC Audio]
English | 2003 | 12 hrs and 30 mins | MP3 | 344 MB

by: Vejas Gabriel Liulevicius, The Great Courses
Narrated by: Vejas Gabriel Liulevicius

From the trenches of World War I to Nazi Germany to Saddam Hussein's Iraq, the 20th century was a time of unprecedented violence. Yet while such monumental violence seems senseless, it is not inexplicable. If we can understand the origins of violence, we may prevent even greater horrors in the century to come.

These 24 necessary lectures trace the violent history of the 20th century, beginning with its early roots in the American and, especially, the French revolutions. With each passing lecture, you will see how the 20th century's-violence was the result of specific historical developments that eventually combined, with explosive results.

You'll see how

the French Revolution proved that ideological movements could mobilize the public and, through violence, transform society;
the Industrial Revolution and subsequent technology created vastly more powerful weapons; and
Charles Darwin's theory of natural selection was perverted into Social Darwinism and eugenics.

The most sinister development of all, however, was the notion that utopia was not just a perfect paradise to look forward to in the afterlife. Instead, utopia could be built right now, in this life. Such 20th-century ideologies as Marxism, Nazism, Communism, and Fascism embraced this idea willingly - even enthusiastically - and used terror to implement it.

You'll see how leaders of totalitarian governments act as mobsters, and how regimes create fear and command allegiance through the use of bureaucratic "machines," such as the cult of the leader, secret security officer, and the media. In the final lectures, Professor Liulevicius considers recent figures such as Saddam Hussein and Osama bin Laden and assesses terrorism in the contemporary world.

The Wisdom of History [TTC Audio]
English | 2007 | 18 hrs and 18 mins | MP3 | 759 MB
by: J. Rufus Fears, The Great Courses
Narrated by: J. Rufus Fears

Do the lessons passed down to us by history, lessons whose origins may lie hundreds, even thousands of years in the past, still have value for us today? Is Santayana's oft-repeated saying, "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it", merely a way to offer lip service to history as a teacher - or can we indeed learn from it? And if we can, what is it that we should be learning?

In this unflinching series of 36 lectures, a world-renowned scholar makes the case that we not only can learn from history, but must.

Drawing on decades of experience as a classical historian, Professor Fears explores history's patterns to conclude that ignoring them - whether by choice or because we've never learned to see them - is to risk becoming their prisoner, repeating the mistakes that have toppled leaders, nations, and empires throughout time.

In this personal reflection on history, Professor Fears has taken on the challenge of extracting the past's lessons in ways that speak to us today, showing us how the experience of ancient empires such as those of Rome and Persia have much to teach us about the risks and responsibilities of being a superpower.

He shows how the study of those who left their impact on an earlier world - Caesar Augustus or Genghis Khan, George Washington or Adolf Hitler, Mahatma Gandhi or Josef Stalin - can equip us to make responsible choices as nations, citizens, or individuals in a post-9/11 world where those choices are more crucial than ever.

Science in the Twentieth Century: A Social-Intellectual Survey [TTC Audio]
English | 2004 | 17 hrs and 44 mins | MP3 | 552 MB

by: Steven L. Goldman, The Great Courses
Narrated by: Steven L. Goldman
As the 19th century drew to a close, the age-old quest to understand the physical world appeared to be complete, except for a few minor details. In fact, Albert Michelson, the first American to win a Nobel Prize in the sciences, noted that, "It seems probable that most of the grand underlying principles have been firmly established." And he was far from alone among his peers. Scientists in 1900 had no inkling of the other mind-boggling developments that lay in wait: plate tectonics, genetic engineering, space probes, nanotechnology, big bang theory, electronic computers, nuclear weapons, artificial intelligence, and many other astounding products of the human mind. Indeed, by the end of the 20th century, nearly every 19th-century theory of natural and social phenomena would be overthrown or superseded.

This dynamic transformation has not been a matter of revolution, but of evolution, as you'll learn in this fascinating 36-lecture exploration of scientific growth filled with ideas, anecdotes, and insights. You'll see how 20th-century scientists have built on crucial 19th-century concepts such as energy, natural selection, atoms, fields, and waves to assemble a body of knowledge to stun even the most farsighted scientific thinkers of that not-too-distant past.

You'll come away with a new appreciation of how scientific knowledge expands, as Professor Goldman addresses a tremendous range of scientific and technological topics, including science and society, physics, mathematics, psychology, cosmology, telecommunications, meteorology, and archaeology.

Religions of the Axial Age: An Approach to the World's Religions [TTC Audio]
English | 2007 | 12 hrs and 30 mins | MP3 | 165 MB

by: Mark W. Muesse, The Great Courses
Narrated by: Mark W. Muesse

These 24 extraordinary lectures offer you the rare opportunity to relate your own spiritual questions to a variety of ancient quests for meaning and transcendence. Professor Muesse looks at the historical conditions in which the world religions arose and explores how they answered shared metaphysical and human dilemmas.

The Axial Age - a pivotal era between 800 and 200 B.C.E. - saw the rise of many of the world's religions in Iran, South Asia, and China. On this stirring journey, you'll learn about the rise of Zoroastrianism in Persia (now Iran); Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism on the Indian subcontinent; and Confucianism and Daoism in China. You'll also see how these religions compare, contrast, and contribute to contemporary Judaism, Christianity, and .,.

Through sacred texts, modern scholarship, and thoughts arising from his own personal experiences, Professor Muesse reveals what it meant to be a conscious, morally responsible individual in the Axial Age. You'll enjoy a ringside seat as each founding sage wrestles with moral accountability, the nature of self and ultimate reality, good versus evil, suffering and transcendence - all topics that still puzzle us today.

Science and Religion [TTC Audio]
English | 2006 | 6 hrs and 14 mins | MP3 | 152 MB

by: Lawrence M. Principe, The Great Courses
Narrated by: Lawrence M. Principe

What is the nature of the relationship between science and religion? When do they conflict? And how do they influence each other in the pursuit of knowledge and truth? While conventional wisdom says that science and theology must perpetually clash, they have actually been partners in an age-old adventure.

These 12 engaging lectures cover both the historical sweep and philosophical flashpoints of this epic interaction. You'll encounter a surprisingly cooperative dynamic in which theologians and natural scientists - from St. Augustine to Sir Isaac Newton to contemporary thinkers - share methods, ideas, aspirations, and a tradition of disputational dialogue.

Moving from the early centuries of the Christian era and the Middle Ages to our own day, Professor Principe examines St. Augustine's profound ideas about reason and faith, and he follows St. Thomas Aquinas's exploration of miracles - the need to identify them is one example of how scientific and theological inquiry overlap.

You'll meet a 19th-century writer whose anti-Catholic diatribe spread myths that persist today, and you'll learn about the courage (and stubbornness) of Galileo, the unexpected rationality of his accusers, the inspiration of Darwin's natural selection, and the religious implications of Lema tre's big bang theory.

The solution to modern conflicts is the study of history. Such study will equip you to join that partnership with ideas and a clear, historical perspective on the science/religion relationship. These tools will help you participate more effectively in a dialogue that is as thought-provoking today as it was hundreds of years ago.

Philosophy of Science [TTC Audio]
English | 2006 | 18 hrs and 17 mins | MP3 | 756 MB

by: Jeffrey L. Kasser, The Great Courses
Narrated by: Jeffrey L. Kasser

What makes science science? Why is science so successful? How do we distinguish science from pseudoscience? This exciting inquiry into the vigorous debate over the nature of science covers important philosophers such as Karl Popper, W. V. Quine, Thomas Kuhn, Paul Feyerabend, Imre Lakatos, Carl Hempel, Nelson Goodman, and Bas van Fraassen.

These thinkers responded in one way or another to logical positivism, the dominant movement influencing the philosophy of science during the first half of the 20th century - a movement whose eventual demise is an object lesson in how truly difficult it is to secure the logical foundations of a subject that seems so unassailably logical: science.

The philosophy of science can be abstract and theoretical, but it is also surprisingly practical. Science plays a pivotal role in our society, and a rigorous study of its philosophical foundations sheds light on the ideas, methods, institutions, and habits of mind that have so astonishingly and successfully transformed our world.

In the course of these 36 stimulating lectures, you will investigate a wide range of philosophical approaches to science, including empiricism, constructivism, scientific realism, and Bayesianism. You'll also examine such concepts as natural kinds, bridge laws, Hume's fork, the covering-law model, the hypothetico-deductive model, and inference to the best explanation (mistakenly called "deduction" in the Sherlock Holmes stories).

Professor Kasser shows how these and other tools allow us to take apart scientific arguments and examine their inner workings - all the while remaining an impartial guide as you navigate the arguments among different philosophers during the past 100 years.

Quest for Meaning: Values, Ethics, and the Modern Experience [TTC Audio]
English | 1999 | 12 hrs and 13 mins | MP3 | 167 MB

by: The Great Courses, Robert H. Kane
Narrated by: Robert H. Kane

Is there an ethics that we can all agree on without stifling pluralism and freedom? What would such an ethics look like? Most important, how should you, as a thoughtful person, find your way among the moral puzzles of the modern world and its cacophony of voices and opinions? These are just some of the engaging and perplexing questions you'll tackle as you join Professor Kane for this thought-provoking, 24-lecture examination of the problems surrounding ethics in the modern world.

The contemporary issues you'll consider include conflicts between public and private morality, the degree to which the law should enforce morality, the teaching of values in the colleges, the role of religion in public life, the limits of liberty and privacy, individualism versus community, and the loss of shared values and the resulting discontent about politics and public discourse. Professor Kane's approach is as searching and comprehensive as any you could ask for. His lectures range over a rich array of literary, religious, and philosophical sources representing thousands of years of civilization. Most intriguingly, they spur you to ponder the possibility of recovering the ancient quest for wisdom and virtue in a way that respects the insights of modern thought and the achievements of modern pluralism. Whatever your thinking on such questions, whatever your own personal question for true meaning, you can rest assured that it will be immeasurably enriched by the harvest of reflection you glean from these compelling lectures.

Reason & Faith: Philosophy in the Middle Ages [TTC Audio]
English | 2007 | 12 hrs and 13 mins | MP3 | 1015 MB

by: Thomas Williams, The Great Courses
Narrated by: Thomas Williams

Today we tend to separate questions of logic from questions of belief, philosophy from religion, reason from faith. But for 1,000 years during a pivotal era of Western thought, reason and faith went hand-in-hand in the search for answers to the most profound issues investigated by Christianity's most committed scholars. In 24 ambitious lectures, Professor Williams examines the great Christian philosophers from Augustine to Ockham, following their efforts to illuminate the full scope of Christian doctrine using philosophical tools inherited, in large part, from the ancient Greeks.

Far from being a "dark" age, this was an era when faith was not blind and reason was not godless, when the great philosophers and the great theologians were the very same people, and no one saw anything surprising about that.

Building on the work of Plato and Aristotle, medieval philosophers worked diligently to show how the Christian faith is consistent with what can be demonstrated by reason, asking such questions as: Can God's existence and attributes be established by reason alone? Are there Christian doctrines that are beyond the scope of logical demonstration? How can Christian beliefs be defended and shown to be internally consistent?

During this extraordinarily rich period of intellectual ferment, philosophers participated in a common struggle with transcendent questions, using reasoning in the service of faith. This course serves as a fascinating philosophical backdrop to illuminate the stimulating debates that occupied many of the greatest minds of the era.

Popes and the Papacy: A History [TTC Audio]
English | 2006 | 12 hrs and 15 mins | MP3 | 507 MB

by: Thomas F. X. Noble, The Great Courses
Narrated by: Thomas F. X. Noble

More than a billion Roman Catholics throughout the world today look to the pope for guidance and leadership. Despite the papacy's enormous influence, how much do you really know about this ancient and powerful institution?

Catholics and non-Catholics alike will enjoy these 24 illuminating lectures about this remarkable institution. Professor Noble gives you priceless insights into the dramatic history of the papal office and the lives of the men who represented it.

You'll follow four critical strands of papal history over 2,000 years: the history of the "Petrine" idea; the history of an institution; the history of popes and antipopes; the history of Western civilization; and you'll look inside the Vatican's doors and discover fresh views on the institution's people, ideas, traditions, and routines, as well as the important roles played by organizations like the Curia and the Secretariat of State. You'll investigate the mechanisms by which the church not only ministers to its worldwide flock but also deals with the practical realities of its administration.

Filled with interesting stories and remarkable insights, this course promises to educate, enlighten, and entertain you.

Religion in the Ancient Mediterranean World [TTC Audio]
English | 2005 | 24 hrs and 37 mins | MP3 | 517 MB

by: Glenn S. Holland, The Great Courses
Narrated by: Glenn S. Holland

Step back to a time when the mysteries of the universe could seem overwhelming. Cycles of nature kept predictable time with the sun, the moon, and the stars, yet crops failed, disease struck, storms ravaged, and empires fell without warning. In the region surrounding the Mediterranean Sea, people responded to such tumult with a rich variety of religious beliefs.

From these beliefs, we get some of Western civilization's most powerful texts: the Mesopotamian Epic of Gilgamesh, the Hebrew Bible, the Greek epics of Homer, Ovid's Metamorphoses, and the New Testament, among many others. Composed largely of stories of human interaction with the divine, these narratives gave ordinary people a window into the unfathomable realm of the sacred.

Archaeological remains show that ancient peoples also responded with a complex array of religious rituals, and their temples, cultic statues, funerary goods, and household devotional items are among the world's greatest cultural treasures.

Using such textual and archaeological evidence, these 48 marvelous lectures explore the religious cultures of the ancient Mediterranean world, from the earliest indications of human religious practices during prehistoric times to the conversion of the Roman Empire to Christianity in the 4th century of the Common Era.

You'll discover the religious traditions of a wide range of civilizations, including the ancient kingdom of Egypt; ancient Mesopotamia; ancient Syria-Palestine, including Israel and Judah; Minoan civilization on the island of Crete and the successive civilizations of the Greek mainland; and the city of Rome, whose empire dominated the entire Mediterranean world at the end of the ancient era.

The Operas of Mozart [TTC Audio]
English | 2003 | 18 hrs and 21 mins | MP3 | 756 MB

by: Robert Greenberg, The Great Courses
Narrated by: Robert Greenberg

When Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart died in 1791 at the age of just 35, he nonetheless left behind the defining composition in every available musical genre of his time: symphony, chamber music, masses, and above all - opera. Opera was the prestige genre of the era, and the thought of it, Mozart wrote, made him "beside myself at once." It was a form he loved dearly, depending on it heavily for personal, professional, artistic, and financial reasons of the greatest weight.

Artistically, the world of the operatic stage spoke deeply to his primal instinct for play, his taste for fantasy, and his restless creative imagination. And in this rich series of eight entertaining lectures, you'll learn how his operas vied with one another for the acclaim reserved for the greatest achievements of human artistic striving: Idomeneo, The Abduction from the Harem, The Marriage of Figaro, Cos fan tutte, Don Giovanni, and The Magic Flute, which premiered only ten weeks before his untimely death.

In addition to summarizing Mozart's life and artistic development, the lectures focus on two of his greatest masterpieces, Cos fan tutte and The Magic Flute, to help you understand more fully the height of Mozart's operatic achievement.

Description
This course is designed to train the students for the 200 hours standards of yoga alliance accredition. The curriculum cover the study and practice of necessary subjects of Yoga Philosophy, Yoga Anatomy, Alignment and adjustment, hatha yoga hatha vinyasa & pranayama. On successful completion students will be eligible to obtain the 200 hours yoga ttc certificate. The course is designed to address all aspects of yoga, particularly emphasizing the systematic eight principles of Ashtanga yoga addressed in the Yoga Sutra channeled by Patanjali, at least 5000 years ago, with equal weight on each principle so that the students become familiar with the essence of classical yogic paths. This is a theoretical and experiential course. Theories give understanding conceptually, and experience provides us the meaning to the theories. Swami Sivananda once said, An ounce of practice is equal to a ton of theory. Both, however, are necessary for us to have a thorough understanding of yoga tradition. Tradition keeps teachings alive. You become a part of tradition when you become a teacher and practitioner. You will teach based on your direct experience and direct knowing (wisdom), and the most importantly you directly connect to your teachers, the teachers before your teachers and beyond. It traces all the way back to the ancient yoga masters, the rishis, and the lineage of masters of yoga. You will serve as a conduit to pass down the teaching and knowledge to others. This is the true teaching, teaching without ego. We no longer are the doers but conscious indwellers.

Requirements
Prerequisites are previous experience in Yoga practise and study for atleast a year is an advantage.
If you have had some study before hand, it will be easier for you to understand the concepts deeply. However this does not restrict you from taking up this course.

Who this course is for
This course is for all aspiring yoga teachers, yoga practitioners, and those who are looking for a perfect harmony in their bodies and minds. This course will teach you how to implement yogic principles in your teaching and daily living.
