Description
Drawing Nature - Flowers and Rocks EditionNature is such a big source of inspiration for artists. The beauty of creation is simply stunning! No wonder it brings such joy to be able to capture some of this beauty on paper! How about me taking you by the hand in my process of drawing detailed flowers and rocks in their full glory?Drawing flowers or rocks in their full glory, asks for you to zoom in on the details. Adding the RIGHT details to your pen drawing, along with the RIGHT shading is your recipe for success. Guaranteed! But wait What are the RIGHT details? Exactly, that is where so many people get stuck. Once you start zooming in, it is very easy to get lost in the details. How do you move forward from there? How do you escape (or even avoid) the trap of making the drawing process overly complicated? What skills do you actually need to work towards an impressive and very satisfying result? My name is Benjamin Aeilkema and I m an illustrator and Artist from The Netherlands. I love creating Artworks with all kinds of materials. As many, many other artists, I also find great joy in capturing the beauty of nature in artworks. There is just something very special about it!But I can also relate to the challenges and struggles many people have shared with me over the past few years. These very same issues I ve been dealing with in my own works. It can be really frustrating to get stuck along the way and not knowing how to proceed, or how to improve the way you re going about things.Nevertheless, I somehow was convinced that I could discover the right techniques to conquer these challenges. And to develop a method that would provide answers and solutions. You might be surprised to hear that the key I found has everything to do with the way you go about starting a detailed flower drawing. The key is actually in the way you OBSERVE the flower and the choices you make regarding which parts to focus on.The secret to success is in training your eye & brain to only observe the APPROPRIATE details at the RIGHT moment of your drawing process. Eliminating everything else enables you to capture exactly what you need at every step along the way.My method is based upon 3 distinguished steps:Capture the complicated flower or rocks in the simplicity of its basic shapeFocus on the RIGHT details and master translating these to your drawingFinish it with convincing shading (done in an relative easy way)In this Art Class you will discover the key to a transformation of your thinking pattern in where to start and where to end. You will find a new revolutionizing workflow as your eye & brain are trained to make the right choices along the way. You will discover the progression of building beauty enhancing detail upon detail. Ending up with amazing results!Of course you will also be given the necessary tools to:train your muscle memory in drawing the right shapesdevelop simple construction drawings as your springboard to freehand drawinggive compositions your own personal touchWith my method you will become successful in drawing detailed flowers or rocks in their full glory!Enrolling in this Art Class will give you 14 video lessons with clear instructions and examples. In these videos, I will take you by the hand in my process of drawing detailed flowers. We re not limiting ourselves to flowers only, we ll be adding some rocks and grass too. You will greatly benefit from my decades long experience as an instructor and teacher. My easy to follow teaching method will help you to understand exactly how to get from point A to point B. The in-depth demos make even the more complicated matters easy to understand and apply. The skill level advancing assignments are all truly focused on helping you grow. They re fun to do, allowing you to keep on discovering new potentials. You will be equipped to explore so many wonderful ways to make amazing flower drawings ALL ON YOUR OWN!There's more......Additional PDF s: Great Time Savers in PDF formatTo help you save time, I m providing you with a handy book of notes. Once you ve completed an assignment, there s no need to re-watch the video lesson. Instead, all of my finished works are in this booklet. Just find the lesson you re on and compare your work to the finished assignment in the book. Again, this will save you time and allow you to keep on going. That s not all though.I ve also included a booklet with photo references. In this booklet you ll find photos of all the flowers and rocks I ve used in the lessons and even some extra ones for more practice. This addition will help you to work in any season, regardless of which flowers do or don t grow. While I encourage you to get your own reference material, I understand that s not always possible. So with this booklet you have plenty of reference material to get you started and keep you drawing.Enroll now to discover the keys to capture flowers and rocks in all their glory. See you inside! This course is now updated with an extra section, Flowes in a Different Way! In that section we'll be exploring some mixed media projects.

Description
This course explains the fundamental principles of The Trivium system: a system of education which draws upon principles that have been developed since ancient times and were brought together and used for centuries as an effective, all-purpose approach to education and learning.Where other approaches might allow one to gain mastery of a given subject or discipline, The Trivium equips a learning to gain mastery of any subject or discipline by giving them an all-purpose model for learning. The Trivium consists of three parts: Grammar, Logic and Rhetoric and the idea is that if we master the Grammar, Logic and Rhetoric of any subject, we are able to achieve mastery of it. Hence, through learning The Trivium, we are learning about learning as-such, becoming equipped to deal with any and every subject.Grammar refers to the "building blocks" of a subject such as the basic terms, ideas or skills that it builds upon.Logic refers to the "construction" or coherence of a subject; it determines how basic elements should be brought together and ordered. Finally,Rhetoric refers to the "living" or purpose of a subject and it is concerned with how a subjected is effectively conveyed and put to use.

Description
This course will take you to understand about how product is designed, product transfer & validation aspects before commercialisation. After commercialisation further it will focus on how stability study is performed.First of all, we need to learn about product development as per the ICH guideline - ICH Q8. This will explain us about how to design the pharmaceutical products and also how quality by design concept to be followed. After this, main step is about technology transfer in the pharmaceuticals. This technology transfer will focus on transfer of analytial technology as well as manufacturing process technology in the manufacturing unit. Once technology is transferred, the first commerical batches manufactured should be studied in detailed as per the process validation requirements. Furthermore, it is important to note that, there is special care to be taken in case of manufacturing of potent molecules. So, a separate lecture on manufacturing of potent molecules is available in this course. This is still not enough for pharmaceutical products. After process validation, the process validation batches should be subjected for stability study. Furthermore, long term stability study will be continuted for every year. Overall this training session will be very much helpful for all pharmaceutical professionals for learning from design the product to commercialisation.

Description
Are you finding pure mathematics confusing? Are you overwhelmed by complex concepts, intimidating formulae, and mathematical jargon? Are you looking for an easy-to-understand, video-based learning platform to help you ace your exams?Well if so, then this course is perfect for you! I designed this mathematics course combining my years of experience, teaching at one of the most prestigious high colleges in South Africa. Through my teaching methods I helped countless students demystify mathematical concepts; grow in their mathematical confidence; and attain top results in their year-end exams. A-level Pure Mathematics 1 Made Easy is an easy-to-understand video-based learning platform, which is designed to fit hand-in-hand with the prescribed Cambridge Pure Mathematics A-level textbook. The visual-learning based format of the course accelerates learning, and provides an engaging delivery mechanism for the study of mathematics. Many of my previous students have found the use of visual aids or animations to be an invaluable tool in understanding more complex mathematical concepts. As a result I have combined some of the most helpful illustrations and examples into the course material. This course provides a conversational-style and concise learning resource, which acts as an invaluable tool for students studying in full-time learning institutions, and also for students studying via distance learning. This course is recommended for students studying for their A-level mathematics qualification through the Cambridge University syllabus. It is however also applicable to almost all of the coursework contained in the Oxford A-level mathematics syllabus as well.

Language: English | Size: 6.81 GB | Duration: 7h 15m
This course will study the physical, psychosocial and cognitive development of humans from prenatal to end of life.
What you'll learn
Exploring human development from prenatal and throughout the lifespan
Identify the interrelationship between human biology and psychology
Recognize cognitive, physical, and psychosocial developmental stages in human development
Describe human behavior and mental processes from various theoretical perspectives in the field of psychology
Requirements
There are no requirements or prerequisites for taking this course.
Description
Lifespan development explores how we change and grow from conception to death. This field of psychology is studied by developmental psychologists. They view development as a lifelong process that can be studied scientifically across three developmental domains: physical, cognitive development, and psychosocial.Lifespan development can be described as a continuous and active process of coping with developmental tasks, i.e., demands, challenges, and chances that depend on people's environment and life situation in given phases of the aging process. Specific developmental tasks are conceptualized as a consequence of the interaction between biological maturity, normative conceptions of successful aging or development in society and individual plans, aims, needs, and values.Across these three domains physical, cognitive, and psychosocial the normative approach to development is also discussed. This approach asks, What is normal development? In the early decades of the 20th century, normative psychologists studied large numbers of children at various ages to determine norms (i.e., average ages) of when most children reach specific developmental milestones in each of the three domains. Although children develop at slightly different rates, we can use these age-related averages as general guidelines to compare children with same-age peers to determine the approximate ages they should reach specific normative events called developmental milestones (e.g., crawling, walking, writing, dressing, naming colors, speaking in sentences, and starting puberty). There are many different theoretical approaches regarding human development. As we evaluate them in this course, recall that developmental psychology focuses on how people change, and keep in mind that all the approaches that is presented address questions of change: Is the change smooth or uneven (continuous versus discontinuous)? Is this pattern of change the same for everyone, or are there many different patterns of change (one course of development versus many courses)? How do genetics and environment interact to influence development (nature versus nurture)? Are we who we are because of nature (biology and genetics), or are we who we are because of nurture (our environment and culture)? This longstanding question is known in psychology as the nature versus nurture debate. It seeks to understand how our personalities and traits are the product of our genetic makeup and biological factors, and how they are shaped by our environment, including our parents, peers, and culture. For instance, why do biological children sometimes act like their parents is it because of genetics or because of early childhood environment and what the child has learned from the parents? What about children who are adopted are they more like their biological families or more like their adoptive families? And how can siblings from the same family be so different? This course considers basic psychological perspectives on human development. Using the concept of continuing maturation from conception throughout the lifespan.Course Objectives: Describe human behavior and mental processes from various theoretical perspectives in the field of psychology Identify the interrelationship between human biology and psychology Identify the manner in which psychological research relates to human development Demonstrate the skill of identifying information needed to answer questions pertaining to psychological terms and concepts Develop an understanding of psychology as an ever-changing discipline, based on contemporary research data

Description
Are you battling to understand statistics? Are you confused by intimidating formulae and jargon? Are you looking for an easy-to-understand, video-based learning platform to help you ace your exams? Well if so, this course is perfect for you. I designed this statistics course combining years of teaching, investment banking, and entrepreneurial experience. The result is an easy-to-understand and real-world applicable course with detailed explanations and worked examples, which will not only help you to understand statistical concepts; but will also help you to see how statistics is applied in real-world business scenarios. This "learn-by-doing" approach, will empower you to master the concepts being taught quickly, via direct application. The video format of the course accelerates learning, and provides an engaging delivery mechanism for the educational content. Many students who learn more effectively using visual aids or animations will find the content and flow of the course absorbing and non-monotonous. For this reason this course provides an invaluable resource for students studying in full-time learning institutions, and also for students studying via distance learning. This course is recommended for students studying for their A-level mathematics qualification through the Cambridge University syllabus. It is however also applicable to almost all of the coursework contained in the Oxford A-level mathematics syllabus as well.

Learn 300 English Idioms & Phrases with Origins in 30 Days
Published 07/2022
MP4 | Video: h264, 1280x720 | Audio: AAC, 44.1 KHz, 2 Ch
Genre: eLearning | Language: English | Duration: 335 lectures (5h 30m) | Size: 5.4 GB
Learning origins and backstories is the best way to memorise them forever!
What you'll learn
Fascinating origin stories of 380 idioms and phrases in the English language.
Exact context in which these phrases were first used.
All meanings and connotations of every idiom and phrase.
At least one example sentence so that the meaning is etched in your memory forever.
Understand spoken English more clearly.
Requirements
I speak in English (with subtitles of course) so elementary understanding of English is required..
Description
The best way to learn something in Maths is to derive it. Similarly, the best way to learn idioms and phrases is to know their origins and the stories behind them. It gives you the context in which a particular phrase was first used.
For example, the phrase "spill the beans" comes from an ancient Greek voting method in which voters would put beans in opaque jars labeled with the name of their favorite candidate. If a voter unintentionally knocked off a jar and spilled the beans, he would reveal the outcome before the results were announced officially. Thus, this phrase has come to mean "to reveal a secret, especially unintentionally".
Such minute details can be learned and retained only by knowing the backstory behind a phrase. When you know a story, you don't cram, you don't memorize anything. Your brain automatically makes mental pictures, and you learn when to use which phrase without any special effort on your part.
Hi, my name is Gauri Shanker, and I am a self-taught vocabulary enthusiast. I have been actively learning and researching words, idioms, phrases, and their origins for the past 10 years. I have been a Udemy Instructor for more than two years now and have about a thousand students enrolled in my courses.
In this course, you will learn the target English idioms and phrases in 30 days, so that your English sounds more natural when you use it in your conversation and writing.
In this course, you will learn
All meanings and interpretations of every phrase (etched in your memory forever)
Origin and backstories of every idiom and phrase
The exact context in which these phrases were first used
At least one example sentence with every phrase
Relevant pictures and illustrations to drive home the meaning of every phrase
What's more? All related phrases are discussed together in one video for better neural connections. For example, the phrases "Hold water", "Watertight", "Swiss cheese argument" and "Pick holes in something" have been discussed together because they all have a common theme. Similarly, the phrases "off the cuff" and "on the cuff" have been discussed together because their stories are based on 'cuff' a jewelry article worn by men about two hundred years ago.
Furthermore, to learn more than 300 idioms with their origins, you don't have to spend hours. I need only 15 minutes of your time for 30 days.
There are thirty sections containing ten videos each with an average video duration of one minute. Phrases have been covered in bite-sized but comprehensive lessons, so you won't be overwhelmed with information.
This course is extremely detailed, so you can fully master the target English.
If you want to understand written English more clearly, if you want to sound more native-like, or if you simply want to take your English to a higher level, this course can help you achieve your goal of taking your English to the next level.
This course is also perfect for anyone taking CAT, GMAT, SAT, SSC, or any other English-based exam.
Who this course is for
Buy this course if you are curious about the origins of English phrases.
Buy this course if you have a difficulty in remembering the meaning of English idioms.
Buy this course if you don't know how to use idioms and phrases in a sentence.
Take this course if you preparing for any exam (CAT, GMAT, SSC, SAT, IELTS etc).

Description
Power Pre-Algebra is a carefully tailored preparatory course for anyone seeking to gain a firm understanding of Pre-Algebra. This course was designed and created because of the lack of appropriate materials in existence that explain exact problems from a specific textbook. While there are a host of videos and explanations online, I wanted to make something that followed precise problems from a particular and popular textbook.Have you ever understood everything a teacher says during class, but as soon as you try the problems at home, the methodologies seem to escape you? Yes, that's what I figured. This phenomenon is extremely common. I have seen it time and again as both a private tutor and a teacher. This phenomenon was the impetus for this course. Power Pre-Algebra walks through a smattering of practice problems from each part of every lesson so you always have a solid walkthrough to lean on no matter what problems have been assigned. Moreover, this course goes through the even problems only (which are notorious for being the problems in textbooks with no answers). If you need to master the subject to earn a solid grade in your math class or simply have an interest in Pre-Algebra, I hope you use this course to gain the results you want and deserve!
