Description
Don t you just love how impressive a well-done ink artwork looks? It is pretty cool how much expression one can put into drawings with just a pen and paper. It is absolutely amazing.My name is Benjamin Aeilkema and I m an Illustrator and Artist from The Netherlands. I love creating Artworks with all kinds of materials, but one of my favorite forms of art for sure is working with ink.Using a pen, fineliner or any media with ink can be very intimidating. The pen is unforgiving, what s on the paper, stays on the paper and a mistake is easily made. Over the past few years I met many people who struggle to get started with ink for a number of reasons. Others get started, but get stuck along the way. Getting stuck like that isn t motivating at all!Some of the struggles people have shared with me.....It definitely looks awesome, but how in the world do I get my pictures to look that way? I mean, I can handle the outlining, but taking it a step further making a picture come alive, is a totally different.When I try to shade with ink, I mess up my whole drawing. Even when I manage to prevent disaster from happening, the outcome just looks very plain and way too simple. Not that impressive at all!I tried following some tutorials to help me out. It went right over my head; it was too complicated. Leaving me more frustrated than when I began. In other videos they only showed just a little part of the techniques needed to make a great looking work. This left me stuck half way through, not knowing how to apply it and actually make it work.So yes, a well-done work with ink looks awesome, but I sure don t know what it takes to get such results. What I do know, is that I m not making it happen! If anything, it just seems very hard, intimidating and complicated to make a nice piece of art with this medium!A number of years ago I found myself facing the same struggles. Nevertheless, I somehow was convinced that I could discover the right techniques to conquer these challenges. Techniques to unlock the mystery of making beautiful, expressive ink artworks. Without it having to be as complicated as it seemed.Guess what? Once I figured out what these very specific techniques are, I developed ways to master them. You will be glad to hear that these ways are actually not that hard at all.Now I greatly enjoy working with ink and with all kinds of different ink-based tools. But just a simple, regular pen and a piece of paper are enough to make a drawing that can WoW people and put a big smile on their face. I love how much you can accomplish with such a simple medium, if you just know the right techniques and the right way to apply them.In this Art Class you will discover exactly what it takes to make ink drawings that have the desired WoW-factor.So, are you ready to unlock your capacity to create beautiful ink drawings?Enjoy this specially designed Mastering-Ink-Method which will take you beyond the places where many get stuckDiscover what the very specific techniques are to create really expressive artworks with just paper and inkStrengthen your basic skills and take your work to the next level with advanced techniquesWe ll work on topics like: sketching, light, shading, shadows, focus and moreGain understanding of the necessary theory with very plain and understandable step-by-step video lessonsDirectly apply your newly gained insights to assignments this course will walk you throughBecome confident in knowing how to apply your newly acquired skills and gained understanding to your very own art piecesThis Inking Art Class is a great addition to your art journey!Enrolling in this Art Class will give you 18 video lessons with clear instructions and examples. In these videos, I will be sharing my ink art secrets with you. You will greatly benefit from my decades long experience as an instructor and teacher.My easy to follow teaching method will help you to understand exactly how to get from point A to point B. The in-depth demos make even the more complicated matters easy to understand and apply.The skill level advancing assignments are all truly focused on helping you grow. They re fun to do, allowing you to keep on discovering new potentials. You will be equipped to explore so many wonderful ways to make amazing ink artworks ALL ON YOUR OWN!While my journey lasted for years, you now get instant access to my secrets. As you gain from my pain , you will be pleased to see how quickly you improve and grow.There's more......Additional PDF s: Great Time Savers in PDF formatTo help you save time, I m providing you with Templates. These templates quickly get you going, without the need of having to redraw the assignments in the videos. Just print out the template you need and you re set. This helps you to stay focused on the lesson, rather than being slowed down by extra work.Once you ve completed an assignment, there s no need to re-watch the video lesson. Instead, all of the answers are in a handy booklet. Just find the lesson you re on and compare your work to the finished assignment in the book. Again, this will save you time and allow you to keep on going.Go even Deeper!On top of that I have added some extra topicsTopic #1: Go Bold. Ink art can be created with various styles. This addition will add an extra style to the Art Class. You will learn to go bold with ink, creating lot s of contrast. A stepping stone to begin creating your own style.Topic #2: Textures and Patterns. This addition will show you how to enhance your ink works with patterns and textures. These will add an extra dimension to your work, making it even more stunning.Pick up your pen and become an inking master today! See you inside

Description
INTERNATIONALLY CERTIFIED & ACCREDITED

In this course you will learn a vast array of things from technical, to site navigation, to the spiritual endurance side of how to become successful in this endeavor and pursuit of teaching to an audience. I started off with zero students and over the course of a few years, have grown my Academy (POBA) of students to well over 9K students and at the point of writing this, almost at 10K students. I have built a community over time and went from no one interacting with me, to daily emails from students sharing their stories and asking questions, to even taking advantage of my services at Place of Bliss Sanctuary (POBS). I went from zero dollars in revenue to thousands per month, and this can be your reality too.

The development of creating content and all it entails can create for yourself more than just great courses, but a way to be part of and lead a community in your industry. We all want a sense of fulfilment in our work and in this way, you can do that. But you must take the time, be patient with the process and yourself, and allow your thinking to be solution oriented instead of turning to a nihilistic approach when things get hard.

This course will encourage you not only in the spiritual pursuit of going after your dreams but share tips and navigation information to get you started and philosophical direction that leads to long-term pursuit and success.

I teach through sharing stories and my experiences. This class will not have pdfs, graphs, charts and pies to examine. We will be examining the reality of being a course & content creator, how to do it and how to enjoy the process. If this sounds good, I'll see you in class! I anticipate I will be adding more to this course as I hear from students with questions, so this course can be a resource of ongoing support. Please see the curriculum for exact course topics.

See you in class! Love Sufi

Description
The DCS and PLC have many powerful features that still remain under-utilized. This course shows you how to tune PIDs and build powerful optimizing controllers inside the DCS or PLC. During the course, we use several industrial process control software products Pitops, Simcet, Process Control CBT and ACSSI.The course assumes that attendees have completed PID100 course (PID100 is a prerequisite for this APC200 course).Attendees use real time-series plant data and identify multivariable closed-loop/open-loop dynamics. Then they build various control schemes all inside Pitops software cascade, constraint override, maximizing and minimizing constraint controllers, selectors, model-based controllers, dead-time compensators and many others.This course is designed more for engineers but also will offer tremendous value to operators, technicians and supervisors. PiControl software products used in this course are so very easy to use that the course can be comfortably followed by even new and inexperienced technicians. This course also covers advanced functions of PID controllers in more detail.Learning outcomes:At the end of the course, attendees will be able to study a process and its P&IDs and talk to the right people in the plant or control room and then design and build powerful controllers in the DCS/PLC. Attendees will become skilled in PID tuning, feedforward implementation, and parameter specification for all types of controllers in the DCS/PLC.Further, using scientific process control methods and software products they will be able to calculate tuning and other DCS parameters precisely, thus eliminating guesswork and generating precise, optimized control action.The course also trains attendees on how to be careful while activating and commissioning new control schemes, avoiding mistakes, and starting up a control chain in the right sequence.This course is all you will ever need to use the full potential of the DCS or PLC and build powerful new controllers to stabilize plant operation and push against economic, market, process, and equipment constraints. Attendees will also learn when to use traditional advanced control and when to use multivariable model- predictive control, a very practical and useful skill. Description
This course is an essential resource for undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral students, as well as anyone else undertaking a qualitative research project. Using practical examples, I take you through what should happen at various stages in the project's schedule, starting with developing your research idea, research aims and research questions, and ending with a discussion of what to put in the Conclusions chapter.I also explain the general research designs (e.g. Quantitative vs Qualitative research) and research methodologies (narrative research, ethnography, case study, grounded theory and phenomenology), as well as methods of data collection and analysis. I discuss a range of other elements of a qualitative research study (have a look at the course structure to explore it further) and provide down-to-earth explanations of the most confusing and complex terminology and issues related to research (e.g. how many participants/research methods are enough in a research study, what is, and how to increase validity, or what are philosophical worldviews and why are they so important).This relaxed, but also clear and professional approach is in fact what my students (both those virtual and real-life) like most about my instruction. Take a minute to explore the course content, and join me in the course - I have a feeling that you will like it!

The John F. Kennedy presidency has an indelible hold on our imaginations. Even more than half a century later, we remain captivated by the charismatic young leader who promised us the moon, who remained steadfast in the face of nuclear catastrophe, who told us to ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country and whose life was cut short by an assassination that remains shrouded in mystery.

Although so much ink has been spilled and so many films have been made about JFK, recent years have seen the public release of documents and interviews with the people who knew him best, shedding new light on a man who perhaps never fully revealed himself to anyone: the courageous soldier, the political neophyte, the stylish leader, the casual playboy. Who was JFK? And what do we know about his presidency now that it, too, has been abridged and romanticized by history?

Reconsidering JFK is your chance to transport yourself back to a more innocent time in America, to a presidency mythologized in the romantic vision of Camelot. In these 12 in-depth lectures, Professor Michael Shelden of Indiana State University brings you the latest research and firsthand accounts to capture a fresh angle on a multifaceted, always fascinating American president.

Unlike most considerations of JFK, Professor Shelden takes you into the story through the eyes of people who experienced it. For instance, it is difficult to reflect on Kennedy s assassination in Dallas without also thinking about Lee Harvey Oswald and Jack Ruby, the CIA and the mob, the Zapruder film, and the grassy knoll.

But when you look at that fateful day through the eyes of those who lived it, a more fundamental question emerges: Why was JFK in Dallas to begin with? As you will discover through Professor Shelden s telling, political tensions in Texas threatened to split the Democratic Party apart. Here, you ll meet grumpy Lyndon Johnson, forced to go on a reconciliation tour, bickering with colleagues until the shots were fired.

Historians traffic in drama, focusing on the turning points that change the world forever. JFK s presidency certainly was a turning point, but what remains so compelling is the human drama behind events such as the Bay of Pigs or the Cuban Missile Crisis. Reconsidering JFK is a story of the human drama and the heart of the enigmatic man who changed the world.

The Rise of a Star

How did JFK become president? Although he came from a well-to-do and well-connected family, he was not the favored son to go into politics. As Professor Shelden recounts, young Jack in the 1950s was sickly and inexperienced, a war hero but also an unserious playboy. Most of all, he was part of a political establishment that expected young men to pay their dues.

Then, Professor Shelden takes you into the dramatic 1956 Democratic convention, where the young senator makes an astonishing showing, catching everyone off guard with his charisma and political savvy. You will see the wheeling and dealing that prevented him from achieving a place on Adlai Stevenson s ticket but also how this showing set young Jack up for a run at the presidency in 1960.

The human dramas surrounding JFK s rise are many, including

the role of mass media in building a candidate;
the nation s fears of a Catholic president;
the 1960 televised debates between Kennedy and Richard Nixon;
the tensions within the Democratic party between progressive New Englanders and southern segregationists; and
Kennedy s ability to mask his Addison s disease and project a winning image.
The Education of a President

What was the secret to his success as president? Projecting a winning image might get you elected, but once you become president you have to find a way to govern. In three short years, President Kennedy arguably faced more challenges, at home and abroad, than any president in the second half of the 20th century.

His first test came quickly, when the CIA armed a group of Cuban rebels and sent them off to storm a beach at the Bay of Pigs. Perhaps naively, Kennedy approved the invasion but then surprised almost everyone by resisting full-scale war with Cuba and by proxy, the Soviet Union. He may have been set up by hawkish Cold Warriors, but he showed resolve in resisting escalation.

The challenges didn t stop with the Bay of Pigs. Almost immediately, he was hit with problems around the world

rising tension in Vietnam, including a coup of President Diem;
labor negotiations with American corporate giants;
the Cuban Missile Crisis and the threat of nuclear annihilation;
the Civil Rights Movement and the urgent need for social change; and
hostile world leaders set on testing him any chance they could.
Uncover the interviews and documents to go inside the mind of Kennedy and his compatriots as they navigated a world in flux.

The Legacy of Camelot

In the days following Kennedy s assassination, his legacy began to take shape. Jacqueline Kennedy referred to their time in the White House as Camelot, implying JFK was a King Arthur knight errant. As a glamorous first lady, Jackie Kennedy certainly helped to build the mystique around this all-American couple.

But as you will learn, JFK was a master of compartmentalizing so that the range of people who knew him from Irish Catholics in Boston to Harvard friends to fellow sailors in World War II each saw a little something different. Now that 60 years have passed, we are able to examine the multiple shards of his identity and assemble a cohesive picture of a president easy to mythologize. Reconsidering JFK gives you a well-rounded character study of a compelling but flawed American icon.

Requirements
You should come with a good understanding of aerodynamics, guidance and control, and C++ programming

Description
Take your missile or rocket to your virtual test range, that is your computer. Before you do, take my course and learn all about how to model missiles and rockets at fidelities that approach the real world with its six-degrees-of-freedom and uncertainties. Start with my C++ simulations and modify them for your concepts.

I provide you with four prototypes: air-to-ground missile, air-to-air missile, surface-to-air-missile, and surface-to-space rocket. You should come prepared with a solid foundation in aerodynamics, guidance and control, and C++ programming. Then study my 17 lectures and do the 24 exercises, using my four C++ simulations.

The air-to-ground missile with its IR seeker is either locked on the target before launch or is given target coordinates after launch by the aircraft via data link for midcourse guidance. The target can move and maneuver on the ground. The missile s aerodynamics are modeled in aeroballistic axes, and its autopilot consists of roll-, rate- and acceleration controllers. Proportional guidance, driven by the IR seeker, is used to home into the target. You will explore its performance with my AGM6 simulation, plot trajectories and create performance footprints.

With the air-to-air missile you protect the launch aircraft against an incoming missile. Here you study how missiles and aircraft are modeled with different fidelities. The self-protection missile is modeled in 6 DoF, the attacking missile in 5 DoF, and the aircraft in 3 DoF. Aerodynamics and autopilots are structured accordingly. Full 6 DoF aerodynamics in body axes for the self-protection missiles with full-up autopilot, IR seeker, and compensated pro-nav. The 5 DoF attacking missile is provided with trimmed aerodynamics, a simplified autopilot, and a kinematic seeker, while the 3 DoF aircraft is simply described by lift-slope and wing-loading, open-loop maneuvering, and a radar that tracks the incoming missile. You task will be, using my AAM6 simulation, to explore the launch envelope of the self-protection missile and its intercept accuracy.

Now I reverse the scenario and launch surface-to-air missiles against incoming short-range ballistic rockets and aircraft. Their ground radar serves to acquire and track the targets until they are within the acquisition range of the missiles for launch. Either IR or RF seekers will track the targets in the terminal engagement. I demonstrate the multi-object power of C++ by launching three missiles against three targets. Afterwards, you will follow my demonstrations by running the SAM6 simulation.

Finally, the surface-to-space rocket will take us to orbit. Our three-stage solid rocket booster has no control fins and is steered by thrust-vector control and reaction jets. To meet very stringent on-orbital conditions, an elaborate guidance scheme is used, based on the time-honored linear tangent guidance law. A key navigation part is the inertial navigation system updated by GPS and star-trackers, requiring the use of the WGS84 ellipsoidal earth model. You will run my SSR6 simulation with all its noise sources in the Monte Carlo mode to determine the accuracy of the insertion in terms of its mean and bivariate elliptical distribution.

As you diligently attend my 17 lectures, do the exercises, and study the code, you empower yourself to host your own design in my CADAC++ framework and take it to your virtual flight test range.

Module 2 is called In the Groove, because you will now be feeling more confident and will begin to understand the phonetic alphabet and practice your listening with more complex audios and videos. And in Module 3, which is called Riding High, you will be feeling that your knowledge of pronunciation has really come along and will learn about some difficult sounds with lots of practice which helps you to speak more confidently.Each of these 3 modules has 7 lessons, and each lesson has listening and pronunciation content with various videos, audios and exercises. At the end of each module there are review lessons, more practice lessons with techniques such as Shadowing and then a test to see how much you've learnt.I've also made you a schedule that I suggest you follow to get the most out of your course. There are two schedules available depending on how much time you have available to study - the first is at a normal study pace and the other is a little slower. I recommend that you choose one and follow it to provide you with the organisation and discipline needed to study.
