Adultery Knowing My Wife, Knowing Me As Well - part III
(02-01-2023, 12:26 PM)Vikadakavi Wrote: I was in shy to pen down my opinions for  past two parts of this series. But somewhat at the middle of part 3, I started to write my comments. I am not a fan of Meera or Krish Or Desai. But if you ask me to choose one from above three, I will pick Krish as he is a wonderful character and nice human being except his fantasy ....

Agree with you Vikadakavi.
I started with this series very late and still there are few chapters I've skipped. But one thing that is clear is that Krish is a naive idiot and Meera is equally capable manipulator. I keep maintaining that she is a serial adulteress and promiscuous one. Just count the no of men she had and the circumstances. How she reacted when she found out about the couple of encounters (unlike Meera, Krish never had a long term affair. She was the keep woman for Shekar, Das and Desai) Krish had.
If anyone has any doubt about her manipulation prowess or her own knowledge of it, check Chapter 19 where she gives BJ to Desai in his car. She says this at last:
“I am not going to sleep with you, Desai. I know I can never quench your thirst. You will never have my consent. If you think you can manipulate Krish, then I can also do that. Do you have any doubt in that?”
She's made 2 accurate statements/observations - that she cannot quench Desai's thirst as he is a serial manipulator and womaniser. But she can match Desai in manipulation. The other two observations fell flat midway when she realizes Desai can satisfy her in bed (she may not satisfy him though as he moves to next game after winning one) and take care of her other needs such as financial and other considerations. No other way to put it.

The last chapter Krish updated was in page 126 and now we are about to finish page 136 and the readers covered the 10 pages and still covering with their comments, opinions, analysis, realizations which shows hate also is a factor to make successful things.
As per the saying "all is fair in love & war" what Desai or Meera or Krish did are justifiable. In the recent times Krish gradually got addicted to his fantasies or he was made to believe his fantasies and get addicted to them, and this addiction made him not to analyze or react to the situations properly and that too in time. He should have got alarm bells when he listened Desai saying he read some articles describing about the people of Krish's nature which he carefully used to turn the tide against Krish. We can go on talking endlessly on the character's behavioral patterns.

Anyway, let's see what is in store for Meera, Desai and Krish

I have been reading comments where many are measuring this marriage and its success or failure based on affairs or who crossed lines how many times...That's insane. Its a story of a cuckold...there are bound to be extra marital affairs for a wife whose husband is a cuckold and whether Meera actively participated in Krish's fantasies or she herself influenced him to push her towards other men was never the question until this last episode.
So pulling past history(Part 1 & 2) and showing the encounters there as examples is probably not right..There is a reason for that..we need to look at Meera as Meera before Desai..Meera after Desai...Meera before Desai has always i think enjoyed Krish's fantasies and even actively participated sometimes examples are all those scenarios where she took the first step or followed lead from Krish.

Meera has changed since she met Desai second time....Desai has shown her a new kind of relationship which she has never experienced with Krish...one with more caring, attention all the time, obsession towards her, possessiveness, royalty also great sex even though all these are results of his manipulations and ill intentions to get her behind the scenes , For Meera its a new kind of world filled with love. It portrayed to her that the world that they(Krish and her) have been living so far in their marriage is not filled with  trust and love. Its more filled with Krish's or her dark fantasies than love for each other. She started realizing what they are missing in their marriage..hence she kept going deep into the world Desai has presented before her...she started considering him as her other husband subconsciously, hence all the small details(coffee, paneer, sharing office details, going out with him for social events)  that Krish observed where she started treating Desai as equal. The mistake she did was..taking what she learnt from Desai as a lesson she should have come back to Krish and shown the same kind of love to Krish and using that show him how much they have been deviating from being husband and wife there by repairing her marriage. Instead she selfishly leaving him and chose the mirage presented before her by Desai...she did not realize that the love Desai is showering is as fake as the one she thought she is leaving behind..as Desai's love is built upon lies and manipulations which will not sustain..but the true love is with Krish even though right now it would seem as not as love due his obsession over fantasies..he is the one who truly loved her. By the time she realizes it, it will be too late.

So many comments for last chapter it's 10 pages of only comments. I think it's high time to leave this story on the person who is creater , protector and destroyer of this erotic universe - Author Krish ha ha ha
If we go on discussing there will be no end to it. Each person can imagine each sentence by his own perspective. Each part is written in such a way that if we read again it gives different point of view. That is the main USP of this Author. We should appreciate that. Now we should leave this to author himself. If go on commenting, countering and discussing, author will be in dual frame of mind. He again start to recheck his thinking or story direction. So better stop here, await and find what author has to say.
Krish kindly finish this erotic marathon once for all awaiting for the next part. This is last wait for us now ha ha ha

Hi RCF,

You have mistaken the comments. The success of Krish & Meera's relationship wasnt counted based on the number of affairs. What most are discussing is the general attitude towards one another. It is known that Krish is a cuckold and fancies his wife with many other men. Doesnt Meera too enjoy other mens company? When she is having all the fun, it is inevitable some jealousy creep in. She should have anticipated it, rather acting as if she committed all those transgressions only on the insistence of Krish.

Like any successful relationship Trust is the most essential part - especially for someone who is cuckold - letting his wife to enjoy with others. But Meera wasn't truthful to Krish and has hidden many secrets from him. Similar accusation could be laid on Krish as well as he didnt have open communication, hid his fears & doubts. That lack of honest communication and falling trust was exploited by Desai. In fact he manipulated and manufactured many of those issues and trust reducing situations.

Knowing the cuckold nature of Krish and that she too enjoyed them, Meera could have discussed her encounters with Desai that happened at Krish's back or that Jai and she had sex at the train. She chose to keep quiet. Krish came to know some of the encounters thru listening device - so he cannot confront Meera. If Meera was truthful and has loved Krish she could have spoken about them to Krish on her own.

She was careless on many occasions - like having sex with him in community hall, sex with him at house when there is a guest, excessive PDA's - wasnt she aware of what will they cause to her image with her neighbours and friends?

Mistakes on their life is a two way street - both Krish and Meera had committed many. However, Krish has truly expressed his love and affection towards Meera than the other way round. We touch upon the earlier parts to prove how she was selfish and trampled on his feelings.

Again, we all knew this is a cuckold story. We aren't here to see a romance between Krish and Meera always. But hey - there are stories like Purva in this site which is pure cuckoldry and everyone enjoys it. Remember, there is no jealousy or any mis-communication between the couple because they are open about one another's need. We are here to enjoy the encounters of the couple, but when the main protogonists fall apart and the antagonist walks away with the heroine, then everyone takes side Smile

Cheers

I have not mistaken my friend..Was she really keep woman for Shekar? Das?..or was it the game played by the couple?
Its a known secret that there are trust and communication issues between the couple..we do not even need to discuss that as the couple is at this stage just because of the secrecy they maintain between them....people tend to forget that we are reading Krish's pov so you would know his feelings, thoughts straight away.....but other way round you need to see actions and judge Meera and verdict given so far is that she doesn't love him and never cared for him and all she did was aspire for more powerful men and used Krish as a ladder for that..that's where i differ..you do not know that..there is no clear cut betrayal in part 1 & 2..so without knowing the details why tag her as keep woman....what we see now in part 3 after Desai is a mystery so far..we have seen incoherent details, contradictory statements and final submission in last episode which i felt did not align with her character in earlier parts....All i was saying do not bring the encounters in part 1 & 2 as they bear no resemblance on this story anymore as Meera is different now..may be others feel she is all the same in all 3 parts but i differ so all your points in part 3 are true , they are the same one's i have pointed out earlier as the outliers myself..think we should just wait and not discuss further to know more about the story as keep circling on same points again and again..This would be my last post before next chapter.

I agree i plan to read A Wife's Journey again after the last episode..its a pleasant story with both husband & wife controlling their life in a much matured way with trust and communication when things go wrong while they are in the same path as in this story. Gives the much needed break.

The author has made his decision and announced that he will end the story after one chapter.

However, I believe that the author acted too hastily.
If he had not left so many "unexplained" and "unclear" actions and motives in the dark in the last chapter, this
would have been possible.

With the last chapter, however, he steered the main protagonists (Krish and Meera) and us readers (his fans)
"without navigation" into a labyrinth with many dead ends and uneven terrain.

I am therefore very sceptical whether he will really be able to answer all the open questions, motives and events
in a single remaining chapter.

If so, it will have to be a mammoth chapter ...

Otherwise, there should (and must) be a concluding chapter with a review, flashback and a leap into the future that
briefly chronicles the lives of the main protagonists.

* * *

I have even often imagined (perhaps the author thinks so too) that a fourth chapter "told ONLY from Meera's point of view"
would crown the story.
It does not have to be (like the first three chapters) one long chapter, maybe, 5 - 8 max....

Those who are hoping that Meera and Krish will get back and lead life normally should read last 2 lines of 41 part and few lines of first part. U will realise the destiny unless author changes his mind .

What would have angered Meera to take a call on Krish?
To sleep with Desai or any other man is completely her decision. Woman will decide to give her body to the man of her choice.
Meera had a fear inside that unless someone control her on her sexual urge, she will go on this non stop.
She expected krish to do it for her. when krish did not say anything on Piyush matter, she felt that krish cannot control her and he will push her to any level and end up making her like a prostitute. So she took an immediate decision to stay with her "other" husband SUSHEEL Smile

Still i feel some more loose ends to be tied. Waiting for the last chapter.

First Part:
My name is Krish. Ours was an arranged marriage and I had been in love with Meera since then. This is a story of how our marriage which was the most beautiful thing ever happened to me went on to seem like it wasn't actually there because it seems so gone now. A person often meets his fate on the road he takes to avoid it. Simply put, it's a story of how I messed with it and lost it all

41st Chapter:
Although I didn't realize it at the moment, I was giving up my home for my wife and the man she chose.

Sounds like this is the last we are hearing from Krish. Perhaps the last part will be a summary from Meera's POV and finish off the story.

I also feel the same.. There is no chance of reunion. If you see the couple break up, this time Krish is trapped by Deasi. As we know Krish is not in favor of Piyush and he initially reacted very strongly and finally took a bad step which he thought will work in his favour but backfired. After meera called piyush, Desai was also in a hot water but Meera trusted Desai than her husband ( during the initial stages of affair, we will not see the negatives of the new lover and we will not doubt the new lover much. Our hormone play a big roll during the initial stages of affair). Desai put it as a test on krish and meera believed him. May be latter stages she may realizes the truth and regret it. But by the time every chance of reunion is gone and she may be carrying Desai's child.
As all we know, Desai came to settled his revenge with krish. So he wanted to break his marriage and took meera. But I don't think his love towards meera is fake. I think somewhere in the middle of their unions, Desai really fell in love with meera. I belive it so due to following points.
1. Desai was keeping meera's photo in his wallet. This shows that he is in love with meera. Who will keep another women picture in wallet to see daily. He also put her picture in his bedroom. Who else do that unless and until you fall for her.
2. He was so possessive with meera especially in recent chapters. With mithrei and ananya he was not like that and even he was redy to share them with others.
3. He wanted a baby in meera. He was not looking only for a revenge but a long term relationship with meera. Without love, who wanted another man wife to be the mother of your kid. I don't think out of revenge someone can do so.

As many pointed out, his love was built on lie, cheating and intentional trapping of krish and meera, intentionally making a fight between the couples and big manipulation. Once meera come to know about the truth, she may lose respect towards her hat time husband Desai and she may regret as well. But I don't think she can break way from him like krish owing the kids.

Actually the main problem of our readers we all are mail may be some will be female so mostly views are usually present our male feelings for this story normally but i think the author is not like that because you can't right story' if you are not able to understand woman feelings so we all are still in man dominate mantlty hate Meera

Agree with @RCF completely. last chapter was so disappointing I was not able to complete reading it.. This chapter is so rushed, i guess the author is feeling public pressure to end the saga. The respectful stage presence of Meera is shattered within single chapter.

Atleast for me so many things in p.126 are meaningless. more than Desai's betrayal, Meera had betrayed Krish unlike i had seen her in previous chapters. Meera's betrayal is very unexpected and cuts deep. I would not have expected a take as this from Meera even as an outsider. Only a person convinced beforehad and already decided the way forward could have a reaction as Meera had (she never listened Krish here and blaming the entirety including Indian election results on Krish.)

Meera always shared the ownership and respected Krish - this perspective is lost in this chapter. Whatever came out Meera's mouth in this chapter is utter bullshit, the only way Krish should retaliate let Meera settle with Desai, realize the true Desai experience (pimped to partners), come running back to Krish - but Krish should reject her. Sometimes experience of a saga results in a disappointing ending - so here we are..

The part 1 started with krish becoming friend of Sunny and ended Losing his wife to Sunny.
The part 2 started with Krish becoming friend of Das and ended with Losing his wife to Das
The part 3 started with Krish becoming friend of Desai and ended with Losing his wife to Desai
Going by this... many parts are still on the cards... This lady will go out of krish life for some time have sex with other men and come back again. Krish will accept and plan for new adventure.

Dear RCF,

I'll tell you my POV. We all knew that Desai is a huge X factor in the minds of both Meera and Krish in this part. He was manipulating them both, playing mind games, used the secrets of one against the other. Both Krish and Meera's minds are clouded by an external factor in this Part. The earlier parts (I & II) is where they acted on their own accord, made their own decisions - however wrong it may be. But in this part Meera is fluctuating. That is why we have to refer back to the earlier parts to know how the person was, how much serious they are about the other person, who acted selfishly et al.

Like our friend Vikatakavi observed earlier she has started the Emotional Affair much earlier than we realized and is playing her own mind games with Krish. Take a couple of examples here,

Quote:“I can’t see you being hurt.” Meera’s eyes were wet. She hugged me. “Not matter how small it is. I can’t see you in pain. All I have is you, Krish.”
I saw love in her eyes.
It was again one of those moments that made me realise how much she cared for me and loved me. It made me forget all my worries and hug her with all my love. She was my Meera.
My lovely wife.
I was not going to lose her.
The incident made me confident about myself and our love.

Know what, this was in chapter 19 just before she went out with Desai and gave a BJ in his car. After that she made the statement, "If you think you can manipulate Krish, then I can also do that." Precisely what she is been doing - manipulating Krish in addition to Desai in her own way. Probably at that time she might not have decided on Desai but surely she had formulated plans for her future. Like Desai claims that he conducted tests on Krish, she could be conducting tests on Desai to see if he "fits".

More recently too we heard her showering all lovey dovey dialogues in the morning and completely reversed her course in matter of few hours. All those nonsense she uttered were not something she realized new and were happening for a long time. In fact Krish had given them blessing to have sex at home when he is around and dont show any intimacy in public. But thats exactly what they did and conveniently she blamed it all over Krish.

I hope you get why we have to consider their behaviour from earlier parts. That is the best scenario we could get to assess their characters and most importantly how they treated one another in bad times.

Like most of the readers here, including yourself, I was rooting for Krish and Meera to bury their issue, dump Desai and get together. But the last update made me reassess the whole understanding of the characters and gave new realization.

I dont buy the argument that the author had pressure to end the story and he did this. As much as I could see the author is an expert story teller, a good psycho analyst and had planned this for long. In an earlier update he mentioned that the ending is finalized and he has already written few end chapters. Also he took about 3 weeks for this update and I believe HE WANTED THE STORY TO GO LIKE THIS.

While I have rooted for Krish and Meera getting together earlier, now, after the last update, rooting for Desai and Meera's true colors coming out - they outwitting the other, but the poor soul Krish finding peace in his next phase of life.

BTW, probably she had fewer encounters with Shekar. But wasnt she the keep woman for Das? He had a married life but both consciously hid their affairs to his family hiding behind Krish's back... Could that be something else?
