The real concern for both of them was if they got caught what will happen. So they hatched a plan. They wanted a scapegoat. After observing and eliminating a few junior executives, they zeroed onto ME. To get their plan in place and fool proof, they roped in a hacker who latched on to my email id via an email attachment sent to me by Chaddha. The attachment was a proposal for a new pitch the agency had made for acquiring new business. I downloaded the attachment to work on the proposal, the PUP was installed onto my system without the anti virus detecting it.
Surprisingly the PUP was so powerful that it somehow passed through the internet security firewall of the organization without being detected. The rest of the game was played out as mentioned in the earlier section.
When I came to know about it, I was extremely shocked and angry. But with lack of knowledge and help I couldn't do anything. I discussed with my family, they were shocked to know that such things happen in corporate. My brother told them this happens a lot in India, 99% of the time is undetected and when it is detected, nothing much happens in the form of arbitration for the victim. The matter is handled as what we call "Mutually".
My family advised me not to go ahead with any plan of action if I was even thinking of one, because it will then be a long drawn battle which will most likely end up in courts and no outcomes for a long time. So they advised me to think it over.
Well the question you all might ask while reading this is - how did I come to know about the fact that I was set up?
