This course, which follows up on SIL102, consists of seven classes, five 16 bit EXR sequences and four diverse and complex shots that explore various manual and procedural painting techniques and workflows.

In this course, you will learn how to complete a paint task from start to finish - from shot approach to the finishing touches. Part 2 is taught using the newly released version of Silhouette, v2021.0.1 and the Mocha Pro plugin v8.0.3. These two industry-standard programs provide refined and in-depth tools that create the highest quality results for Visual Effects and Post Production work. Incorporating the Mocha Pro plugin into Silhouette workflows exemplifies how complimentary these two programs are.

SIL103 jumps right in with a multi-step painting, roto and compositing class that folds in a Mega Plate created in Mocha to serve as an oversize clean plate. A beauty paint shot follows, revealing two unique ways to paint frequency separation. Next up is a shot incorporating Mocha's PowerMesh feature to facilitate an alternate method for paint patching. The course closes out with a task that teaches how to approach and accomplish a shot that benefits from both frame-by-frame paint animating and creative procedural processes.

An overall focus of this course is to combine hand painting and automated methods as it's rare to complete a task with just one solution. Thanks to Damien Vergez of FastFokus for the beautiful footage used in this course.

Katie Morris is a VFX digital paint and roto artist, supervisor and consultant with extensive experience in the visual effects film industry. She has worked on over 82 visual effects feature films including Star Wars Episodes I, II, and III, all five Transformers films, Avengers: Endgame, Black Widow and most recently on season 2 of The Mandalorian. Katie has also collaborated on KMFX Scripts, a collection of Open Source custom scripts for Silhouette.

CLASS 3: BEAUTY PAINT WITH DETAIL SEPARATION, PART 2
In Part 2, dive into learning the two methods for painting SilhouetteÕs Detail Separation workflow and use auto paint to complete paintwork here with 95% of it procedural. Discover how the Depth node is so useful to create roto shapes with gradient alphas for enhancing facial features.

CLASS 4: POWERMESH AND PAINT, PART 1
In Part 1, learn how to make a mesh and perform a sub-surface track on an organic object using the new PowerMesh feature in the Mocha Pro plugin. See how to configure the results into a reverse stabilization workflow inside of Silhouette.

CLASS 5: POWERMESH AND PAINT, PART 2
In Part 2, learn how to decide when to combine procedural, targeted mattes and painting methods for efficient shot finishing. Experiment with the dual clone brush and other painting techniques.

CLASS 6: COMPLEX PAINTWORK, PART 1
In Part 1, discover the non-destructive workflow in the Viewer to set up your shot in Silhouette to make it easier to work on using an ROI and stabilization. You can track, paint and edit the footage and then undo the stabilization with no hit to quality. Learn how to breakdown a complex paint task and start practising on how to animate your paint frame-by-frame.

CLASS 7: COMPLEX PAINTWORK, PART 2
In Part 2, composite your hand paint with procedural methods and perfect your shot finishing. Then use the new Alpha Nodes so you can learn alpha management to adhere to best practices for delivering finished paint tasks.

What can be said about vellum? So, After the vellum was implemented in Houdini, it has become a much more powerful and self-contained program, as it expanded the list of Houdini's capabilities to perform many types of simulations, namely cloth, hair, soft-body, and grains.

Of course, before that, it was also possible to perform such kinds of tasks, but vellum has revolutionized these areas, and introduced a new approach to solving such tasks, and brought enormous potential.

Well, now let's talk about this lesson.

Firstly, I want to point out that this tutorial is completely based on documentation.

So, Throughout this lesson, We will fully reveal all the properties of the vellum cloth as it is done in the documentation, without any exception.

Also, in this process, we will touch on many settings of the solver, and of course, they will also be explored in detail.

We will also manipulate cloth properties in different ways, and all of this can be applied to all types of vellum.

I used 33 simple example files to explain in detail and visually show the meaning of these properties, and since most of these properties are common to other types of vellum constraints, all this will give you a broader outlook.

This lesson can provide a good and solid foundation for an intrusion into the concept of vellum.

Here, I will go over in very detailed and specific ways of showing you what you need to learn to get ready for the new CCNA (200-301) that took effect on February 24th, 2020.
This will be a course like no other I've done before!
In part due to the amount of information that Cisco is now requiring in their new CCNA.
Remember that there will no longer be several CCNA's certifications (i.e.: CCNA R/S, CCNA Wireless, CCNA Voice, etc.)
The new CCNA will replace 10 previous CCNA certifications...let me repeat that - the NEW CCNA will replace 10 CCNA certifications!
This means that as of February 24, 2020, Cisco's new CCNA will combine all previous CCNA certifications into just one!
Please check out the Cisco website for further information on what the new CCNA certification exam will require students to know to be able to pass the Cisco exam to be CCNA certified.
You can log in to cisco and research these new requirements for yourself.
Please note that Cisco has made these changes to make the CCNA certification more valuable.
This will make the CCNA to have as much, if not more, weight than a Bachelors's degree in some cases and depending who the employer is.
This is a good thing, people! ...this means that the new CCNA will be able to compete with those that have a degree in Networking and/or Computer Science.
This, however, does not mean that those that do have a Bachelors's degree in Networking and/or Computer Science or any other technology-related degree are to be underestimated. As a matter of fact, having a Bachelors's degree & the CCNA will make you a better candidate when job hunting.
However, what it does mean, is that those that do not have such degrees can still compete for the same jobs in the IT world if certain other criteria are also met.
The new CCNA is more likely to level the playing field for those with degrees and those with certifications!
Here you are getting "the creme of the creme" when it comes to preparing for your CCNA certification exam.
Always remember that in order to succeed you must have the DESIRE, the DEDICATION, the DETERMINATION, and the DISCIPLINE to lead you to VICTORY!

- Integration - a giant chapter in which we learn many different techniques to integrate increasing advanced functions. We also explore differential equations.
- Parametric Equations - here we learn about a brand new way to represent a curve, and explore how to use calculus with parametric curves.
- Numerical Methods - here we explore various techniques for finding roots of equations, like x = cosx, that are impossible for find exact solutions to.
- Vectors - here we learn how to work with vectors in 3D, extending what was covered in the previous pure course.
