Dear Moderator:

The reasons for request for revival are as follows:

1. We readers choose which story to read based on the star rating. So, it is inconvenient to the readers if there is no rating. Think about Amazon - how difficult it would be for buyers to select a product, if star rating is removed from there

2. Bengali Section has original writers. Just like in Hindi section. In Hindi section rating system is still prevalent. So, it is nonsensical to remove the same from only one section

3. English section do not have as many "committed" original writers, so star rating may not be as relevant there.

I have copied this message to Jupitar10, who is one of my favourite authors. His story is impacted by the recent change of removing the star rating system.
