 I took the phone and walked to the bedroom thinking about how to talk to him. I called Vivek and he picked the phone and anxiously started.


Vivek: Pooja, I was waiting for your call anxiously. How the first-day shoot went? Hope he is happy as he completed his first-day shoot?

Vivek’s voice was with full excitement and cheerfulness. I felt sad to communicate the negative news to him. I quickly told about his whole situation (where he failed in romantic acting). I didn’t tell about my drama of making him act with me. Vivek was totally devastated to hear this sad news.

Vivek: Oh shit? Did he screw up? Is he mad to screw up such a golden opportunity? It is so shaming to call him my brother. What is this issue doing romance acting?

I giggled and teased, “Hey he is not like you, seeing beautiful girls when even you walk with me. He is so reserved, he doesn’t have any girlfriends or female friends. He is a very shy type. Forget about acting romantically, he is not even ready to watch romantic scenes in the movie if family members are around.”

“If something comes up in TV when I watch along with him, he switches the channel. Such a sensitive person he is. Think of what he will do when he is directly put into the scene.”

Vivek: Oh god, it is a very delicate situation. What he is going to do? How he is now? Depressed?

Me: It is so pitiful to look at him. He is devastated, I think he needs some moral support and convincing words. I had to struggle hard to extract all these details from him. He is a bit hesitant to use even the word ‘romance’ to tell today’s failure.

Me: I slowly encouraged him to speak out why he failed, and then he slowly revealed. He badly needs some support now. Vivek why don’t you come here and give some counseling to him?

Vivek: Hey are you kidding? How can I come leaving all this civil project work? I cannot come. Moreover, I don’t have a good relationship with him. He is your pet, you need to counsel him on this.

I felt happy that conversation is heading in the direction that I want. Vivek further continued and asked “Pooja, did he mentioned why he screwed up? What is his problem?”

Me: Vivek I probed him a lot and he opened up saying that shyness is one reason. Another reason is how the family (me and you and your parents) will react seeing him in movie romancing with some girl in the movie.

Vivek: Bull shit, his career is acting. He needs to do romance as part of his acting. Why we are going to judge him for that?

Me: Another problem interacting with him is. He is worried that talking about romance acting to me considering that is inappropriate talking about it. He is worried that you will not take it right if I talk to him on this topic. So he is not willing to talk. I think he needs counseling. You better come here for two days.

Vivek: No way I cannot come. You counsel him.

Me: He is worried that I cannot talk to him on this topic. You better approve him that it is not bad to follow my words.

Vivek: That is simple for me, I can advise him on that.

Me: He is already depressed. So don’t stress him too much. Speak gentle consoling words. Tell him that romancing is not bad as long as it is just acting.

Vivek: Sure I will do that.

Me: Ok I will give the phone to him.

I walked with heavily beating hearts to the living room where he was seated in the sofa. I muted the line and told Kishore, “Hi Kishore, your brother is on phone wants to talk to you.”

Kishore: Ok Anni. (he received the unmuted phone) Anna (brother)

Vivek: Kishore, Anni told everything happened there. Why are you so hesitant in romantic acting da? This is nothing wrong.

Kishore: No Anna, I’m highly worried if you will mistake me.

Vivek: you are so stupid da, Why I’m going to think you bad on this? No, not at all. I and your Anni (Bhabhi) will always think and wish well for you. I cannot come to console you in person. Listen to Anni whatever she says and asks you to do. She will only do it for your good.

You never think I will mistake you or her on this. So please listen to her without any hesitation or guilt.

Kishore: Ok Anna, I got it now.

Vivek: That is true Spirit, Thank you. All the best for your audition.

I quickly got the phone back from him and disconnected the call and said to him.

Me: What Kishore, your fear and concern about your brother is clear now?

Kishore smiled with a bit relaxed mode, “I’m a bit relieved on brother’s concern. But I’m still terribly fearing on how I’m going to act with you. But you know many scenes are…..(struggling to say)…..too intimate.

I said, “Kishore yes I read the complete script. Yes, the scenes start with basic romance, flirty conversation, and progress to hug and kiss. It further progresses with some touch and I see the explicit climax. I think it should be fine for us to do certain scenes.”

“I think romance talk, flirt is fine. Hug and kiss are fine because nothing wrong between BIL and SIL to hug. There are some scenes with bit sensual touches. I think we should just think of them as professional scenes and see ourselves as professional actors and just act. When there a sensitive climax scene we can think about that later.”

I stopped and with surprise expression “Kishore, do you know the Kanada movie named ‘Mussanje Gelathi’?

Kishore: “No Anni, not heard of it? What is in it?”

Me: “It is a Kanada movie, a 45-year-old professor falls in love with a girl student of a 20-year girl. In that movie and they love each other deeply.”

Kishore: “What special in that movie, Anni?”

Me: “Do you know the relationship between the hero and heroine in real life? They are father and daughter. They boldly acted and it came as a film itself. We are not going to act and release the movie to the public. We are just rehearsing for perfection privately. So I think we should take them as a role model and example.”

I gave a gasp and tried to play nice. I didn’t want to show the desperateness that I am ready for anything by accepting that we can do the climax scene. So I stopped there and said, “See Kishore, I think we don’t need to plan everything now. Let us start and see how it progresses and decide as we progress. We can check how comfortable it is for us to act and then decide how to proceed”

Kishore is getting better, confident, and still bit hesitant and said “Anni, Sounds like the best plan. There are some conversations in the script where I have to call heroine without respect in singular like vaa dee, po dee (in Tamil, raa vey, po vey in Telugu).”

I Interrupted, “Kishore, that is fine. During acting, I am that character and not your SIL. So you can scold and call me the way script demands. I won’t mistake you. Moreover, you need to understand that for me also this is new. If you hesitate, I will feel guilty as if I am forcing you for something you don’t like. I will feel morally low. Please understand it.”

Kishore quickly in tensed note tried to console me “Anni, please never ever think like that. You are the goddess of sacrifice. One hour back I was at ground zero without any clue or an idea of how to make it. You have drafted a wonderful plan and I like it. I really appreciate it.”

“My all questions to you is to ensure that you are fine. I do not want to hurt my sacrificing SIL in this process. Hence I am politely bringing all the points. Other than that, you are my savior. Please don’t feel guilty.”

Me: “Thanks Kishore, I would not have proposed it, if I am not comfortable. So please keep in mind a simple thumb rule. Once we get into scene/acting, we are just the characters. There is no room for a BIL-SIL relationship.”

“We need to give what the scene demands. Once the shot is over we are BIL and SIL, just keep this in mind and let us do the scenes. Don’t bring guilt, shy, nervousness, etc in this process.”

Kishore with a happy face and clarity said “Thanks Anni, I completely got it now. Sure I am completely ready, but still, I will have some nervousness and fear initially. Please support me initially until I am comfortable. I will work hard to become normal in acting with you soon”

Me: “Thanks Kishore, that’s the spirit! I appreciate it. Sure, I will encourage you and support you. Similarly, I need your support and encouragement as I am also doing this for the first time. No judgment, no weird/shocking look between each other during this acting process.”

I felt Kishore is comfortable and settled down with all his questions and thoughts. His face appeared a bit clear and no more nervous in this discussion, As he is bit cool now. I thought to extend this conversation to a bit spicy. I laughed and with the smiley face said “Ok Kishore. Let us start our rehearsal practice tomorrow.”

I felt Kishore was comfortable and settled down with all his questions and thoughts. His face appeared a bit clear as he is a bit cool now. I thought to extend this conversation. I laughed and with the smiley face said “Ok Kishore. Let us start our rehearsal practice from tomorrow.”

“One thing you need to remember that, you will not get better by just acting. You need to have a mentality change. You should be always thinking about your character and heroine character. You need to change yourself to that character.”

“You must have heard interviews from successful heroes saying, ‘I followed cops and I mentally lived as a cop to act in that cop movie. It took one month to come out of that character.’ Similarly, you should get into that character 24×7. Think about it feel about it.”

Kishore sincerely listened to my lecture. I stopped and with pretended hesitation asked him, “Kishore, this is a personal question, don’t take it bad. Have you ever thought or imagined romance with any girl? Like having a feeling of ‘Oh I want to hug that girl’, etc, etc?”

Kishore felt a bit shy “Anni, you are ragging me.” With shyness, he said, “Sometimes I get, but I wipe away those thoughts quickly and discourage thinking like that.”

I encouraged, “Kishore, thanks for openly sharing your feeling. This is what we want in our relationship so that I can better guide you. It is fine in the past that you brushed away such thoughts. Now you don’t do that anymore. Indulge in such thoughts when you get, don’t brush it away.”

“These thoughts will bring you romantic hero traits. Having such thoughts will make you have better chemistry during acting. So tonight, go through the scenes in the script and imagine about it. The only thing that does not have any boundary and no one can know or judge is our imagination.”

I laughed, he joined, and I ended, “So, keep imagining.” I looked at the clock, it was ticking at 10 PM. I said “Ok Kishore, time to take rest. Spend tonight some time reading script and sleep well. Let us catch up tomorrow.”

We said goodbye to each other with a happy and smiling face. We headed to our respective bedrooms. Once I entered my bedroom, I danced like anything without sound, with excitement as my long pending desire is coming close to reality. My heart was pounding with excitement for tomorrow.

I was going to start romancing with him. I know eventually how it will progress. I felt this is ‘My day’. Very happy with my performance with Kishore in convincing him.  I thought to spend another 5 minutes of spicy conversation with him. I got an idea.

I picked my saree, churidhar, 1 bra, and 1 panty. I wrapped them and went to his room and knocked his door gently though it is unlocked. Kishore called “Please come in Anni.”  He was lying on his stomach on the bed and reading the script and just sat up seeing me.

I said, “Kishore, as I already mentioned, you need to use your every minute with the focus of succeeding in the next audition. So I thought that you can practice the scene named ‘Lover’s fragrance’ scene number 13 which is in 58th page of the script.”

He smiled at me and quickly flipped to page 58 and the scene was titled with ‘Lover’s fragrance’. Kishore smiled and said, “Yes Anni, the scene is there.” I smiled and said, “See Kishore, you should be very sincere and you should know all the scenes in the script with the page number. I expect that dedication level from you. See I just remember it that thoroughly. I will expect this from you going forward.”

I smiled and said like a strict teacher. He smiled and said in a teasing voice like a kinder student, “Ok Miss, from next time I will follow this miss.” I laughed and said, “Enough pulling my legs. Please read out the scene loud for me.”

He hesitated a bit but quickly came out of it and started reading it out loud as in the script (as given below)

Scene Name: Lover’s Fragrance

Hero Name: Ravi

Heroine Name: Kavya

Scene Background: Ravi and Kavya are divine lovers. Ravi comes to Kavya’s house late in the evening. They had a romantic evening with lots of chats and sweet talks. Kavya’s parents are not in town. Kavya requests Ravi to stay the night in her home, as it is too late for him to leave.

Kavya provides Ravi a separate bedroom to sleep that night. Loneliness and privacy make Ravi a bit tempted on Kavya. Ravi begs Kavya to sleep in the same bedroom. Kavya denies with a smile, pushes Ravi into a separate bedroom, and goes to her bedroom to sleep.

After sometime Kavya feels pity for Ravi. So she decides to give something to Ravi. She heads to Ravi’s bedroom and gives her dress and innerwear to Ravi to feel its fragrance and have a romantic sleep. Ravi feels them like a precious gift from her lover.

He gently gets them and caresses the dress and smells its fragrance. He feels the aroma of his lover in it. And he uses that dress as a pillow, hugs the dress and sleeps. Ravi’s face exhibits a lot of emotions and happiness when he smells the dress. Ravi emotes feeling as if he is directly sniffing the dress over Kavya in person.

He does all this in front of Kavya. Kavya melts with the importance he gives just to her dress. Ravi through the whole night whenever he awakes from sleep, he smells the dress and spreads it like a blanket, wraps on the face, imagining Kavya is on him.

Kishore with hesitation, nervousness and with a bit of excitement he read the content (so far given above). I interrupted, “Kishore, I think that this director is an amazing person. He has put a lot of imagination and creativity showing how real intimate lovers will behave.”

Kishore hesitantly smiled with shyness and agreed, “Yes Anni.” I said, “Ok Kishore, read further.” Kishore further continued reading from the script.

(Script has instruction to hero, heroine, cameraman, the crew like the below).

He started reading the instruction to the heroine.

Instruction to Kavya: Kavya, for this scene we need following props 1 Bra, 1 Churidhar,…

I interrupted him, “Ok Kishore, As this is an instruction to me, I mean heroine character. Let me read it loud and get involved.” I started reading the script

Instruction to Kavya

Kavya, for this scene we need following props 1 Bra, 1 Churidhar, 1 Pantie, 1 Saree, 1 Shawl. Make sure you get your own dress for this scene. It is important that we want the real worn dress to induce chemistry in the scene.

The dress should have your personal fragrance in it (important not washed after you wore it). So Please bring most recently worn and unwashed dresses as mentioned below for the shooting. In the scene, hand it over to Ravi with graceful expression and shyness with dialog “…………”.

While Ravi sniffs your dress, you should emote expression on your face with a feeling as if he is directly sniffing your body. Your face should emote cute and romantic expressions.

I stopped reading and said to Kishore, “Kishore, I got my points and it is clear for me. As the scene demand, I’ve brought my dresses with the requested specimens,” I counted aloud in front of him “1 Pantie, 1 Bra, 1 Saree, 1 Shawl, 1 Churidhar. Ok, all the props are ready and I am ready. You continue to read the instruction given to you.”

He with bit tense started reading the instruction for him

Instruction to Ravi: Ravi, Please receive the dresses from Kavya with a smile and extreme curiosity. Give expression on your face as if you are receiving a precious lifetime gift.

Once you receive the dress in hands, take each dress and look at it passionately, touch them and feel as if you are touching the dress over Kavya. Sniff the dress and emote the sense of feeling fragrance of Kavya. Caress bra and panty to emote your feeling.

Your act of caressing dress will not be explicitly shown on screen. Your facial expressions will be shown. So don’t hesitate to caress the dress as you like. Involve emotionally in the scene and go creative if you can make the scene better.

He stopped and looked at me and asked “Anni, you said we will start from tomorrow, but you are asking to start now itself? Feeling a bit nervous and it appears a very sensual scene,” with a shy smile.

I laughed, “Hey, I thought this scene is something very basic and you can use your night to practice this. Moreover, this is a non-intense scene, no physical romance or heavy flirty conversation. This is a simple facial expression and dress sniffing scene. I thought it would be an icebreaker for you to start without worry. It appears too much seeing you nervous for this scene.”

He smiled and said,  “Ok Anni let us try.”

Me: Ok I am starting. Camera, Action, Start.

I immediately changed my body language as if I’m a professional actor. I brought love expression in my eyes (not brought, naturally it came as I am looking at him lustfully) and started.

“Ravi, Sorry da I cannot sleep with you in your bedroom. I know what you will do if I do so. But I will give my dresses, just have them with you and sleep with my memories.” I shy fully extended my hands to hand over the dresses to him with a smile on my face.

Kishore is a bit stunned with my expression and acting. He extended his hands to receive the dress with a bit of slight surprise and shock expression on his face. I did wait for 1 minute and started laughing uncontrollably. He interrupted, “What Anni, why are you laughing?”

Me: “Hey you almost forgot acting and just receiving dresses without any expression. Even the laundry person would have received it with a more romantic face. Now I know how your director would be pissed off with your expressions”

Kishore: “Sorry, I missed it as I was observing your action. Let me try once more.”

I repeated the action and he received the dress this time but not 100% perfect acting. Looks Ok improved a bit. He became nervous after receiving my dress. When he held my bra, he was terribly confused regarding what to do. He looked at me and bra and struggled.

I could understand that he is feeling the moral and mental struggle to sniff my own innerwear in front of me. Maybe his inner conscience is not fully cooperating. I happily watched his struggle and reaction. He looked at each cloth separately and started sniffing each cloth one after other mechanically.

I couldn’t see any excitement or emotion in his face sniffing my panty or bra, rather nervousness and caution. I did wait for 3 to 5 more minute to complete his too mechanic acting of sniffing the dress. Then I started commenting. I laughed heavily holding my stomach and leaning on the wall.

I said, “Kishore, you screwed the scene to a great extent.” He looked at me disappointedly for my negative feedback. I continued, “See this is such a sensual scene. You need to passionately handle the cloth and sniff it with feeling and emotion in the eyes. But the way you did it is like.”

I teased him heavily with my laugh and continued, “It appeared like someone doing deep breath yoga. You mechanically took a deep breath in and out for each cloth one after another with zero excitement on the face. Too bad for the scene. I should have shot it in a cell phone to show it to you. From tomorrow we can actually shoot each scene and look into it after the action.”

Kishore got fed up. “Anni, I understand. It is not easy to quickly act. It is for you easy to comment and give feedback. But you don’t know how it will be sensitive to act in this scene. You will realize only if you put into such a scene for acting.”

I laughed and playfully, “Oh my boy, are you challenging me?”

Kishore: “No Anni, not like that..!”

Me: “No worries, It makes sense that it will not have any sense to just give feedback without proving or showing you how to act. I will show it to you. All it needs it is bit involvement and dedication. “

I looked around and I found one of his boxer short was lying on the hanger. I just walked to it and took into my hand. Kishore looked at me curiously. I stood in front as if like a seasoned actress. I said to him, “Give me a minute. I will get into the character.”

I closed and murmured slowly in a low voice for him to hear me. I pretended as if I am entering into the heroine character. But the fact is I have the desire to caress and smell his dress. I started reciting slowly.

“I am Kavya, I am Kavya. I love my Ravi too much. This is my Ravi’s boxer. It is a precious item for me, I am going to enjoy the dress. I will not feel disgusted. I am going to act perfectly…”

I looked at him and said, “ Ok da, I’ve got into the character, the flame is ready. Now I am ready to perform. Watch me.”

I started acting. I held his boxer in both hands like a baby. I romantically called, “Ravi…, I miss you da.” I slowly kissed his boxer and gently applied like kerchief on my face. I slowly rubbed it from my forehead and slowly scratched it on my nose and slowly on my lips.

I started enjoying his manly fragrance on it. I breathed heavily where my boobs went up and down in my deep breath while rubbing down from the face. I rubbed my lips and lip inner flesh revealed as I am brushing it down. I inserted my hands inside two leg openings of his boxer and touched inside of boxer.

I took it to my nose and sniffed, meanwhile I intermittently moaned, “Ravi, Ravi.” I said to myself “Cut..” like a director and pretended as if I am out of the scene. I just threw his boxer into the corner of a room as if I don’t care about it and said, “This is what is called as acting?”

Kishore was stunned with his open mouth looking at me. I said, “Hey how was it? Convinced? Ok, don’t look like that and don’t go with judgments.” Kishore came to reality “Oh Anni, you acted as if it is real.” I said, “Yes, one should not identify if it is acting or real, perfect acting should be like that. This is what I am expecting from you”

Kishore: Anni, It is unbelievable. It was amazing to see your minute expressions, as never seen before. Fantastic acting!

Me: Thanks. I was able to do as I imagined the character and went into it with involvement. You should try that slowly.

In fact, though I am boldly talking to him. I am a bit nervous as I did boldly that explicit scene of sniffing his boxer. I felt a bit nervous and shy. But did not reveal on my face. I felt the urge of leaving that room and head to my room.

I said “Ok Kishore, no worries. Prepare well for tomorrow. I do not want to torture you any further. So please prepare by yourself. Let us continue tomorrow.” I rushed to my room with excitement, happiness and bit shyness of sniffing his boxer in front of him.

This is the happiest day of my life as everything fell in the order for me. I am so happy that God has given me this opportunity. I will take it forward from here and slowly will enjoy with him scene after scene. I thanked the director for creating such an intense love story and clear instruction for hero and heroine.

I had a peaceful sleep that night.

I woke up in morning casually came out of my bedroom rubbing my eyes. I noticed Kishore was just walking across the hall with mixed emotions. I laughed inside. I knew he will be restless with all the things happening since last evening.

He would be a bit stunned with last night episode of dress sniffing stuff. I decided that I should not always exhibit a kind of flirty, lover type of behavior. I should behave as normal SIL at times without showing any excitement. This will prove that I am only flexible during acting.

I want to show him that I act professionally without any lust and interest on him. With this decision, I thought to behave very normally this morning until the need arises. So I just very casually gave a gentle smile to him and started my usual household work.

I started talking to him in a casual serious SIL mode. “Kishore, milk man has not supplied milk for the last two days. Enquire with him. Kishore what is this, last two days you have not vacuumed floors. Please do it when you are free. A lot of dust in the living room,” I complained.

He nodded his head and he will be wondering about my contrasting behavior between last night and now. I pretended as if I forgot everything and asked him “Kishore, what shall I cook for lunch today before I leave for the office?” Kishore was a bit shocked to hear that I’ve planned to go to the office.

He politely asked, “Anni, are you going to the office today?”

Me: “Yes Kishore, it is my regular one right? Is it a holiday today? Did I forget it?”

Kishore (hesitantly) ”No Anni, we decided Movie, audition acting…”

Me: “Ohh god, I totally forgot it this morning and got ready for office. Sorry for it da. I will inform them that  I am on leave for the next 3 weeks.”

I acted as if I totally forgot it. I did it purposefully to indicate to him that I’ve acted professionally yesterday. I am not in just thinking about it. This will bring a bit of respect and fear in him on me. So that I can enjoy the command of SIL though I play romantic with him.

I called my manager and requested 3 weeks of vacation. Kishore was happy to see my commitment and take personal leave for 3 weeks to spend time with him to support for the audition. He quickly said, “Thank you, Anni.”

Me: It’s ok da.

I laughed and said, “That’s fine, but what about your practice? Did you try the last night scene and got any improvement?”

Kishore: I think I got better after I sincerely practiced it for 10 to 15 times. I will act and show and you can provide feedback.

Me: No worries, we will start that after 9 o’clock after completing all household work. Until then let us sincerely complete the household work. Please do the vacuum cleaning and other stuff.

I ordered him as a commanding sister to ensure my dignity and respect. I prepared coffee, completed all morning routines, bathing, etc and had breakfast together. He was looking at the clock with nervousness and curiosity waiting for when we will start acting rehearsal. I felt it is now time to start the fun and spicy stuff.

Me: Kishore, as today is the first official day we are going to start rehearsal. Come let us start this with a small prayer in the Pooja room. I want to make a deal and offer something to god for making this a success. I mean you clearing audition.

Kishore: Ok, Anni.

After the bath, I made myself fresh with a bit more focus on grooming myself to look better. I applied a nice fragrance in my armpit and all over my body to produce a nice fragrance. As eventually, I will be acting physically close to him.  Already I am beautiful, made myself more beautiful by applying eyebrows, non-glossy natural lipstick, etc.

We walked to a small pooja room and stood in front of god and he stood next to me. I prayed aloud audible to him. “Oh God, this audition is very important to Kishore. I want him to be successful in this one. I offer my prayer that if he is successful, I will go for 2 days fasting for you and break 100 coconuts in your temple.”

Kishore was touched with my sacrificing prayer of 2 days fasting and 100 coconuts breaking.

I continued, “Oh god, Kishore is really a gem of a person and he is naturally shy. You should give him all the courage and power to overcome his shyness and be better romantic boy for the audition. At the end of our practice session, Kishore should be very comfortable in acting any scene from the script. “

Kishore shyly fully smiled for my funny prayer request I continued.

Me: Oh God, Personally I’ve not been physically close with any men. Kishore and I are doing it now for a very noble reason for acting practice. You should give both of us enough courage to romantically act together every possible scene. And you should understand our noble cause and forgive us.

Kishore sincerely listened to my prayer. I completed my prayer and showed deepam to god and showed it to Kishore and he touched. We completed our sincere prayer, came to the living room, and sat on the sofa. Kishore sat on the sofa and started looking at me.

Me: Kishore please listen carefully. Let me tell you the protocol and the steps we are following in this acting practice. We will set up 2 to 3 cameras at each angle around us when we act. All the three cameras will shoot our acting. One camera we will set up to focus on our face to capture facial reaction.

Me: One camera we will keep focussing our body reaction and one camera we will keep at bit distance to capture the long shot. Let us read the scene, understand the director’s instruction, and perform the scene. Let us perform for 1 to 3 times.

Me: Once after we complete, we can sit together, play the videos recorded on the camera, and review the video to figure out how we did. I will review your acting based on my common sense and as a spectator. I will give you my feedback, you may agree or not.

Me: If we both agree that the scene did not come well, we need to act repeatedly until the scene comes well. Once the scene comes well, we can wrap it off and move forward with the next scene. Does this sound good?

While I explain this arrangement, I unintentionally imagined the situation of shooting the climax bed scene. I shook my head and thought to come to the present and not think too much.

Kishore: Anni, perfect plan I completely agree. We can do as you said.

We arranged 3 cameras with a tripod and made recording and quick replay arrangements.

Me: Ok Kishore. Once we progress with acting, we may need to wear the costume the story demands. E.g if the story demands that if I need to wear half saree or saree, I will wear the same. Similarly, if the scene demands you to wear dhoti, you should wear it.

Me: That way it will be naturally aligned to the real shooting. For now, let us start with our normal dress as we want to focus on the scenes with dialogs and conversation.

Kishore: Ok Anni, I agree sure we will do that. Anni which scene we should start now?

Me: Do you have any suggestions?

Kishore: Not specific Anni, but prefer to start with some dialog oriented scenes first.

Me: Makes Sense, but you need to remember that we cannot just drag on with dialog only scenes. I know you may do better and you lack in physical romance scenes. With a limited time of 3 weeks, we need to use time effectively. I hope that we should progress soon to bit romantic scenes.

Kishore: Sure Anni, I will try my best to do the scenes well and progress quickly to the next level.

Me: Ok then let us pick up the Scene #3 on Page 8 ‘Love proposal scene’.

Kishore: Sounds good

Me: Read the script/scene before getting into acting.

Scene #: 3


Cast: Kavya (Heroine), Ravi (Hero)



Scene Background:

Ravi and Kavya are friends for a long time and each of them like each other. But not courageous enough to openly show their love. Ravi did not know that Kavya also loves him internally. Ravi finally decided to break the ice by declaring his love on her.

Through years of friendship between Ravi and Kavya, they are physically close in touching each other, hugging politely and wrapping arms on the shoulder. So today, Ravi will stand close in front of Kavya. He will hold her cheeks with his hands like holding a precious item.

He will look deep into her eyes and propose her love deeply, in a lovely way, passionately with the dialogs. (all dialogs here/removed them to keep it simple)



Instruction to hero: This is a very precious moment in your life. You are going to declare your love. So hold her cheeks gently. Your eyes should emote the unlimited love you have for her, give a gentle grip on her cheek with your entire palm.

Keep your face close to her face exactly in front. Your nose and her nose should have 1 inch of a gap in between. When you emotionally speak your love,  the heroine should feel your hot heavy breath. She should melt with your physical closeness and emotional speech.




Instruction to heroine: This is a precious moment for you. Your sweetheart is proposing his love for you first time holding your cheek. You are waiting for your entire life for this moment. Once he holds cheek to speak to you, move a bit forward close to him to receive his warm look and intimacy.

Move generously forward closer to him where your nose and his nose are 1 inch away. Your chest and his chest touch with each other and indulge in his conversation. Once the hero completes his statement. Keep your hands on top of palm holding your cheek and look into his eyes with emotion and bit drop of tears, express your confirmation of love with these dialogs (……)

Kishore stopped reading.

Me:: Wow, a really wonderful scene and the director had detailed it very nicely. Are you ready?

Kishore: (hesitantly) Ok Anni.

We kept the camera in different positions to shoot us. I dressed in tight pink colored T with Jeans today. I just moved closer to him to perform the scene. He struggled to directly and fondly touch my cheeks. I stood in front and said come on Kishore please proceed.

He nervously held my cheeks with slightly shivering hands. He moved his face a bit closer to me. I moved a bit forward. He hesitantly not moved very close to me. He slight kept his body away and looked into my eyes with fear and nervousness and recited the dialog.

I see no emotion, romance or intimacy in the scene and dialog delivery from him. Physically he has not moved very closer (1-inch nose gap) to perform the scene. I kept silent instead of giving frequent annoying instruction and let him be as he is. I reserved to give my feedback later.

He completed the dialog delivery and scene.

Me: Ok, just to say in one simple word, the scene did not come well. Please re-do this scene one more time. He again repeated holding my cheek and etc.

I repeatedly requested for one more time, he did, and I stepped away from him, took a deep breath.

Me: Relax Kishore, are you fine now?

Kishore: Ah Ok Anni.

Me: Do you think you did the scene well?

Kishore: Not sure, I tried my best. I think it can be improved better.

Me: Ok, Thanks for feeling the fact that this scene can be made better. In my view, I will give a score of 0 marks for this scene. You made it terrible.

Kishore was disappointed with my comment.

Me: Hey, not saying this to discourage you. Giving you open feedback so that I don’t give you false hope. Let us watch the scene and I will explain to you each flaw you made. Please make note of the flaw I point you and correct it next time.

I sat on the sofa and asked him to sit next to me. We started watching the scenes on the big TV. I felt a bit different to see myself and him physically close in the scene. It was a different experience watching both of us on the TV, though it did not come well. I played all three takes. I walked and went close to the TV with remote

Me: Look Kishore at this scene

I paused the video with my remote and the screen is showing the scene where he kept his hand on my cheeks. And I pointed his five fingers in the scene and said.

Me: Your fingers show nervousness. You have not kept your fingers wide open to touch the cheek instead you made your fingers on the chin like taking a pinch of salt. You forgot that the scene demands you keep your five fingers open and spread it on the cheek. Do you agree and got my point?

Kishore: (swallowed air with tension) Ah Yes Anni, you are right. Sorry I was nervous.

Me:: Look, don’t need to be nervous. You are not doing anything on your own. Whatever scene demands you need to do that. This is the first flaw. Let me come to the next point

I showed the clip of his face closeup during his dialog delivery and paused the video.

Me:: Look at your face? No excitement in proposing love. No intense look in eyes. Your eyes appear as if you are in the security officer interrogation room. (I laughed here). Moreover, see what is this?

I zoomed and pointed his forehead.

Me:: See three dots of sweat, which completely indicates you are not romantic in the scene. You are in deep nervousness.

Kishore: Anni, I agree I could realize now after you tell all this. I see what you are saying. Sorry, Anni. Let me try to fix them.

Me: That’s a good spirit. Another last thing I want to point. Look at your body language.

I pointed a video in a bit long shot, which shows our full head to foot.

Me: Tell me what this scene demands in terms of our closeness, how close we should stand and what should be the gap. Remember the scene and tell me.

Kishore: (become nervous and hesitant) Ahh Anni, a 1-inch gap between your and my nose.

Me: Good you caught the point. See this video and tell do we have that gap or more?

Kishore: (smiled) Yes Anni, I think the gap is more around one foot

Me: Thanks for accepting. I don’t want to point out further things. Just I would remind you to remember the distance mentioned in the scene and do it. Are you ready for a retake? Kishore, we do not have plenty of time to focus on these smaller things.

Me: We have many many intense scenes pending to do. If we are going kill time on these things like this, our 3 weeks will not be sufficient. See we killed almost 2 hours on this.

Kishore: Yes Anni, I agree. I will do best this time.

We reshot the scene this time. He understood my feedback and courageously held my cheeks. He looked intensely into my eyes and he did 60% better in the first take after feedback. I encouraged him and said he improved tremendously. I asked him to do again and try further better.

He tried with confidence second shot and it came too good with 80% accuracy. As the accuracy is getting increased, I melted in his real emotional love dialog looking at me. I requested for another attempt. He emoted perfectly at 110% accuracy and love with a deep intense look into my eyes.

He held my cheeks with gentle strong grip keeping his nose almost at brushing distance to my nose. Emotionally and slowly revealed the intense love dialogues (I excluded to keep it simple, but dialogs are of very intense and lovely nature.) I started feeling as if he is really conveying his love to me.

His dialog melted me as I was longing for his love all these days. That made me ooze tears in my eyes as he is emoting his dialog. I kept my hands over his foreheads on my cheek and passionately looked at him with moistening eyes. I  delivered my dialog emotionally with real feeling.


Me: Ravi, I was looking for this day for a long time. I was waiting for your bold move waiting for this as I am too shy to open my interest on you. Today I am blessed to be cuddled in your arms. My 21 years of preserved beauty is for you. I submit myself totally to you. I am all yours.

Ended the dialog with a drop of a tear rolling to my cheek. I emoted my real feeling like part of this conversation. To pretend that I acted perfectly I said “Cut,” like a director myself. I quickly acted as if normal and demonstrated bold sisterly body language.

I smiled and said to him with a confident body language, “Kishore, congrats you nailed it. I too tried to act naturally. Hope this time you improved a lot and you made it 200%. I appreciate it. Keep up the good work. I think if you do like this in all scenes, you will rock. How do you feel?

I did wait for his response. His close to real act made me confused, whether he started loving me or acted perfectly? Because it was so natural and emoted it well.

Kishore: (With a heavy relaxation tone) Oh my goodness. It was a very tough and nervous scene. I held all my nerves and brought courage and boldness like before bungee jump. I did it one shot with a heavy heartbeat. Enough Anni.

Kishore: (laughed) Anni, pick light scenes. This is too heavy to handle. Anni, you also did it well. You also perfectly emoted with tears. I was stunned to see how naturally you acted.

Though Kishore acted well he openly exhibited nervousness and shyness. So it doesn’t make good if I appear too bold. I also started acting in the same way and said, “Kishore, I 100% agree with you da. I have never been in this kind of situation. Not even spoke to any guy in college and college in a friendly way.”

Me: Talking such romantic conversation is the first time for me, slight comfort feeling is that I am talking with you like acting and not with a stranger. However, I gained courage and boldly did this scene and it came well.

Me: (laughed) Hey come on, If you are going to get a heavy heartbeat for this scene, man there are lots of scenes where you are going to faint in the shooting spot itself. No way for us to escape. We have to go through this pain and pleasure. Prepare your mind and give your best as you did now.

Me: I will also gain the courage to act the scene with you. We both should support each other to do the scene well. You really did it well. No slowing down as we don’t have much time to prolong the shoot. We will advance with scenes.

I acted perfectly as I am also a shy person like him and not a shameless creature.

I said, “Ok da, let us take a break and view our romance scene on TV (blushed and laughed) and then we will move on to next scene. Let us do one more light romance scene and then move on to big tougher one. What do you say?

Kishore: I am ok with it Anni. I am finally happy that you approved this scene.

We sat together and watched that intimate love proposal scene. Wow, it got rendered beautiful in all angles, close-up, distance and facial expression. Everything is 200% right. I looked at him and said.

Me: Brilliant da, see if you are bold and confident up to this level, I am sure you will be fine with Ahalya in the audition.

Kishore: (nervous and smile) Ok Anni, can we do it a couple of days later. Feeling more nervous. You are picking back to back hot scenes. Can you pick dialog only scenes? Let my heartbeat come down.

Me:: Ok da, I am also nervous and understand that it advances a bit. Let both of us take 15-minute rest, have water, relax, and chill a bit. Let us not be so nervous. Let us be chill and cool to make the scene better.

We drank water and relaxed for 10 minutes to come out of the intimate effect of love proposal scene. He got ready, and we both decided to start. We flipped pages and opened the scene. We sat together keeping the script book on our common lap. It seems he was getting comfortable sitting with me closer

Scene Background:

This is a bit romantic scene. Ravi and Kavya were close friends all these days and they were gentle with each other. Now for the first time, they are meeting in Kavya’s home in privacy after they declared their love for each other.

Last time when they proposed their love, the location was a public park where they cannot display their love openly. Now they are meeting in the privacy of Kavya’s home when parents are not around. As a token of their love, they both hug. They used to hug in the past, but it was a friendly hug.

This time they became deep lovers each of them having complete rights on each other. So their hug this time will be intense and deep. They hug so tightly in a way their ribs will break apart. In the process of hugging, Ravi first time feels Kavya’s bare hip by caressing it with his hands.


Instruction to Ravi:

Ravi, you slowly hug Kavya, wrap your hands on her back, caress her blouse backside, and gently wander your hands on her back. You push yourself against her. She slowly walks back as you push her and finally she leans on the wall.

Me: Ok da, bit intense, let us gain the courage and do it. It seems we can do it. How about you?

Kishore: Ok Anni let us do it.

Me: Ok da, this scene demands saree. I will wear the Saree and come in the next 10 minutes. Oh forgot to ask. Do you have any preference of saree color da?

Kishore: (Kishore appeared a bit blushed and hesitant, as I never asked for his feedback in dress selection) Anni, anything is fine Anni, whichever you are comfortable.

Me: Kishore? See as I already mentioned. All this we are doing it to make you more romantic hero type of person and bring you out of the introvert nature. So, in that case, you should think of something which color will make you happy and engage in the scene.

Me: You should not be so formal. Your involvement as a character is important. Be as Ravi and think which color saree will make Ravi excited when Kavya wears it?

Me: “See you have cried like a baby. What comment did you say? You said that you felt like a baby when I pat? (I stopped and laughed and continued)You idiot you have grown up where you can make a baby and now you are feeling like a baby?

So let us review the video now.”

He smiled and wiped his tears. I sat close to him touching my body to him. I put my hands on his shoulders and pressed remote to play the recorded hug scene. I felt that we become close after we started this acting rehearsal. Whereas in the past I had hesitation feeling what he would think if I sat close to him.

Now because of all the conversation and intimacy, it becomes so natural. I can sit closer to him and wrap my arms on his shoulder and he takes it with ease. The scene started to roll on TV where we both hugged. I switched between the camera and turned the video from the camera that shows my hip side from a side angle.

It is a bit unnatural between lovers to be so formal and hugging like foreign delegates keeping their lower body apart. Scene demands that there should not be any gap between two from top to bottom. Do you got my point and agree with me?

Kishore: Yes Anni, you are right, next time I will note it and correct it.

Me: That’s great, See this scene (I switched the view showing my back). See you kept your hands on Kavya’s bareback. Immediately as if you touched fire you moved it over the cloth area of the back. This looks abnormal in this scene. As you and Kavya love each other there should not be any hesitance in touch and feel.

I further allowed the scene to run for a few minutes, paused the video, skewed his ears, and said to him “Look what an idiotic move/body language you made?” He surprised and asked, “What is that Anni?”

Me: See your fingers, you have folded all your fingers inside as if you are keeping a coin in palm and hugging. What sort of body language is this da? Moreover, you kept your hands static there itself without zero movements. What kind of body language is this?

Me: Any intimate lover, if given a chance he will try to feel the bare skin and caress the body. But you are on other end kept your fingers closed and kept it static. This is not what the scene demands. Very serious error. I think by seeing all this only your director commented that your body language is like hugging a sister.

I giggled and said in serious note “Ok da your last hug is a brotherly hug that is fine, correct the mistakes and go for manly and lover boy type of hug. Are you ready?”

Kishore: I am ready Anni.

We got up from the sofa, arranged the cameras, and got ready for the manly/powerful lover-boy type of hug. He tried to do it really well this time. He hugged me tight especially upper body. He tried to keep close his lower body and still he is not fully comfortable to press his cock on my pussy over my dress.

Me: Please recall the scenes you did and try to emote them virtually in your mind. When free, please feel free to mono act the scenes even if I am not around. Dialog oriented scenes you may try to mono act and prepare for it.

We took a few hours of break and I completed my kitchen work. Kishore helped in cleaning work of the home. I got myself refreshed and came back to the sofa. We started chit-chatting and I started interviewing him.

Me: Ok Kishore, just this is a casual chat with you to find how it is going. We completed two scenes so far. How do you feel? Finding comfortable? Are you getting confidence that you are improving?

Kishore: Yes Anni, feeling better. I see by every scene I’m progressing a bit, still, nervousness and hesitation exist. But It is slowly getting better as scenes progress. I am getting a lot of mixed emotions when acting. I feel happy and better.

Me: Aaah forgot to ask you. During your audition, which scenes he asked you to act? There is a chance he may pick up the same scenes this time to test you. Maybe we can pick those scenes first and practice them.

It has been six months now after Kavya and Ravi become lovers. In all these period, love and trust in each other have grown significantly high. Now Kavya trusts Ravi to the core and she loves him like anything. She is just waiting for marriage to fully surrender her to make him happy sexually.

Kavya knows that it is Ravi’s birthday today. She wants to treat him so special on this auspicious day. She wants to give him something so special that he will cherish it. Kavya makes a romantic decision in a playful mood. She clearly decides what to do.

Kavya wore a yellow colored t-shirt with pockets on both sides of her boobs. She applied mehandi to all fingers on her both hands so that she cannot use her hands. She applied nice perfume with free-flowing air and sat on the sofa waiting for Ravi to come.

Editor: Cut the scenes with lots of nature scene, like bird chipping, waves hitting shores. Lots of visuals that express happiness to express that this is such a big thing for them.

Note to Hero and Heroine: This scene will be shot in privacy except cameraman, director, hero, and heroine and no others will be in the shoot. The room will be dark. We will watch both of your facial reactions without showing any vulgarity in the scene.

So you both act boldly to excite yourself to bring emotions on the face. The scene will be shot for 3 to 6 minutes. But we will take the final perfect emotions worth of 15 seconds in the movie. So act without any guilt.



Continuation of Scene:

Ravi is mesmerized with touching her soft buns. He gently runs fingers all over her boobs softly. Kavya smiles and bites her lips in ecstasy and pleasure. Ravi uses his creativity with his fingers to excite Kavya every bit possible.

Your finger movements and action within her shirt pocket should induce the pleasure to her and make her emote her excitement. Your performance is key to extract the romantic and excitement from Kavya’s face. Do your best natural acting with lots of confidence in mind and excitement in your eyes and face.


Instruction to Kavya:

This scene focuses on the erotic and romantic expression on the face and not intended to show the activity inside the shirt pocket. So the fact that shirt pocket is torn inside is not conveyed to the audience. It will not be known to the audience, only the crew knows it. So please act in the scene without any guilt.

Make yourself mentally comfortable for the scene. Keep your body language in romantic and cooperating mode. When Ravi starts finger action, you lean back and raise your upper body up to indicate you trust him and ready to serve him a special feast for Ravi’s birthday.

Enjoy the pleasure by semi-opened or closed eyes deeply and naturally. Emote the feelings on your face.



Hygiene and Safety instruction to Kavya: Please ensure you don’t wear any neck ornaments like a chain, pearl garland, etc in the neck which interrupts the scene. If you plan to wear any chain/ornament, make sure it is a simple thin chain for the scene.

Ensure no sharp objects like safety pins in the chain, which can hurt Ravi’s hand. Apply jasmine fragrance on boobs. Ensure it is dry and not sticky for optimal scene performance and chemistry.

Safety instruction to Ravi: Please ensure your acting is a bit bold at the same time gentle and soft. Don’t express very violent moves that can cause any pain to Kavya. Hope you understand the situation; we need pleasure to come out of this scene and not pain. So ensure your action just causes pleasure but not pain.

Me: That’s the spirit! But remember there is a high chance that the director will pick this scene to act. I am concerned if you will screw up again. So I think you need to be well prepared for this scene before the audition.

Kishore kept silent for what I said with simple “mm” response. I continued, “Ok this scene is bit sensual. But if you look at this scene from the audience or romance perspective, it is really a romantic. A very natural scene explaining how romantic lovers will behave naughtily among themselves.”

Me: It also gives an opportunity to you(hero) to exhibit himself as chocolate and naughty hero. Most of the young female audience like this trait in the hero and become a fan. So in one way, this is a fantastic scene for you to show the romance, boldness, and emotions.

Me: The good thing is that this scene will not be shown explicitly on screen. Considering all these things, I believe we cannot slip or ignore this scene. I think we need to practice this scene to ensure you are fine with this scene for the audition.

Kishore looked at me with his wide-open eyes, “Ok Anni, how we can?”

Me: I understand your concern. In fact, this is a big concern for me to act in this scene. Never been like this before. But we need to remember this is a ‘do or die’ scene for you. We cannot take the risk. So keeping our personal feelings /reservations aside.

Me: We need to get into our respective characters and get into the scene as lovers and perform the scene. We should not judge each other personally, act following the instructions in the scene book, and do our best.

As this is a bit intimate scene, I need 10 minutes to get myself into the Kavya character by doing meditation and feeling as Kavya. Then only I will be able to cooperate in the scene.

Kishore: (With slightly induced confidence) Ok Anni, what you say makes sense. I will also prepare my mindset to feel myself as my character to act in this scene.

Me: Ok da let me first get ready with the costume required for this scene. Then will get into meditation. After 10 minutes of meditation, I will be ready for the scene you should also get ready for the scene. I will act as if I have mehandi on my fingers, but will not apply mehandi. Dress and other stuff I will do as requested in the script.

Kishore: Ok Anni.

I went into my room and found a t-shirt that was a tight one, which almost cups my boobs and keeps it upright. I took that t-shirt and it had two pockets. I flipped to the inside of the t-shirt and took scissors and cut the inner cloth bottom half of the pockets.

Me: Good, let us set up the camera positions

We set up the camera positions as discussed and sat on the sofa in a Yoga position and started saying loudly with closed eyes.

Me: Ok I am not Pooja anymore. I am Kavya. I am going to do this scene because I am Kavya. The person going to touch my boobs today is Ravi. Ravi is my true divine love, he has all rights on me. I am allowing him to do this because I am Kavya and he is Ravi.

I sat comfortably and laid my back on the sofa and kept my fingers widened in both hands as if I am having mehandi. I gestured to Kishore, “Ok Kishore scene starts now. My hands are with mehandi now. You may start your acting now.”
