Website loading very slow and unresponsive

I'd suggest to change the web server
(may be by taking monetary contributions from members)

if we have 1000 members,
initially each member contributing Rs 150/year can be sufficient

Good idea bhayya...I've been thinking about this when Sarit bhayya started manmadhaleela site...I also suggested him to create a voluntary donation fund...so that willing members can donate whatever amount they are willing to give...

Any small amount can be useful for the maintenance of the site...so the whole pressure on two or three administration members can be reduced...

It is manageable to run the website in initial stage without others contribution...but as we are fastly growing day by day...it will become difficult for one or two persons to bare all the maintenance costs...like in xossip...

So if we don't want to face the situation like xossip we should take donations from the members...
I think reasonable no of members are willing to donate... atleast from our Telugu community...

Let's see what Sarit bhayya is thinking...

EDIT: I strongly think that many people come here only for stories and if pics/videos section server is maintained separately, then I don't think website will have much load. It might be better to have a separate independent sub-domain/forum for stories while home page remains same (i don't know how to express the idea lol)

To be honest, that model may not work for long because today we have access to everything for free and as website grows, it will become a big issue like xossip. Yes, what you said is good solution for resolving all the current issues we are facing. My Opinion is to start getting revenue from Ads (not those annoying shitty popup ads but genuine normal ads) and give premium membership to people who donate to the website voluntarily with extra premium features......and these features should not discourage or cut back any current features but only add things to current features....(similar to reddit)

IMO website also has lot of copyright content having links shared and IMO can bring legal problems to the site as well. Mybb could even ban the forum for that. I think it is time to become serious and think of a business model which can make us survive and sustain on long term basis. If not, we should just stick with telugu users exclusively.......

If one person opens the site and in the browser he opens a link in another tab it will take as another user

that is we are sending another query to the server, like that if we open 3,4 tabs it will put more load on the

server.

Think how many query's we are sending to the server.

Konnisarlu complete ga shutdown aipotundi...
Experts evaranna unte consultant cheyali Inka...

It will reduce server load considerably
