It will introduce you to a modern method for agile data modeling, Data Vault 2.0, and provide you with a detailed, real world case study. At the end we will talk about how the cloud has changed everything and how you can enable your agile data warehouse by using a modern data warehouse as a service (DWaaS) built in the cloud, for the cloud. We will cover these four topics:
Agile Methods and Data Warehousing: How to Deliver Faster. Most people will agree that data warehousing and business intelligence projects take too long to deliver tangible results. Often by the time a solution is in place, the business needs have changed. With all the talk about Agile development methods like SCRUM and Extreme Programming, the question arises as to how these approaches can be used to deliver data warehouse and business intelligence projects faster. This presentation will look at the 12 principles behind the Agile Manifesto and see how they might be applied in the context of a data warehouse project. The goal is to determine a method or methods to get a more rapid (2-4 weeks) delivery of portions of an enterprise data warehouse architecture. Real world examples with metrics will be discussed.

Agile Data Engineering: Introduction to Data Vault 2.0. As we move more and more towards the need for everyone to do Agile Data Warehousing, we need a data modeling method that can be agile with us. Data Vault Data Modeling is an agile data modeling technique for designing highly flexible, scalable, and adaptable data structures for enterprise data warehouse repositories. It is a hybrid approach using the best of 3NF and dimensional modeling. It is not a replacement for star schema data marts (and should not be used as such). This approach has been used in projects around the world (Europe, Australia, USA) for over 15 years but is still not widely known or understood. The purpose of this presentation is to provide attendees with an introduction to the components of the Data Vault Data Model, what they are for and how to build them.
Case Study: Hybrid Data Vault - Data Warehousing in the Real World. At a former health-care client, we were not able to implement a pure Data Vault 2.0 architecture. Instead, we had to evolve a hybrid solution that uses Type 2 persistent stage tables that we tie together using standard Hub and Link structures along with a Key Map table. While we were able to utilize DV 2.0 concepts such as MD5 hash keys, in order to avoid joins in loading the stage tables we had to come up with a way to resolve the Business Keys further into the process. In addition, we were able to build a BI reporting layer using virtual dimensions that were hybrid type 1 and 2 combined. I will show you our solution with examples of real working code.
Agile Data Warehouse in the Cloud (DWaaS). We all know that data warehouses and best practices for them are changing dramatically today. As organizations build new data warehouses and modernize established ones, they are turning to Data Warehousing as a Service (DWaaS) in the cloud, in hopes of taking advantage of the performance, concurrency, simplicity, and lower cost of a SaaS solution or simply to reduce their data center footprint (and the maintenance that goes with that). But what is a DWaaS really? How is it different from traditional on-premises data warehousing? How can a cloud-native data warehouse help enable your agile data warehouse practice?

'that background looks so detailed, how do I even begin!' In this class I'll be showing you easy ways to tackle common obstacles new digital painters face and how to easily achieve the look you want!
There are many resources I'll be making available for you to download to make your digital painting process easier including the free brushes I use in the class, (as well as where to purchase some of my favorite inexpensive ones) textures to overlay on your painting, free reference photos to use for your painting, and other tips along the way!

This class is great for beginner to intermediate artists who have a handle on traditional art but want to take it digital. It's also great for skilled artists that may want to sit back and see another way of working.. there are so many different ways to paint and unique artist workflows!

For this class you will need access to Adobe Photoshop and a general understanding of how it works (I won't be going over how to use the program). If you don't have this yet, you can download a free trial at Adobe.com!

This class will be easier for you if you've dabbled in digital painting before so you have a basic knowledge of it, but feel like you want to refine your digital painting skills.

You will also need a drawing tablet. The one I am using in this class is a Wacom Cintiq 22 HD but don't feel like you need such a huge one! a smaller tablet like an Intuos would do just fine! There are many brands aside from Wacom, like Huion, XP-Pen and Bamboo at a wide range of prices depending on how serious you are about continuing digital art. You can also use something like an iPad with apple pencil, with the app Procreate, but just know that some of the tips, techniques, and brushes i use in the class are only compatable with Photoshop.

• Difference between CAD and CADE (CAD Electrical):-

Tells about the basic advantages of AutoCAD electrical over normal CAD.

• Different types of wires and wire layers:-

This session is the first step for an electrical engineer to get into ACADE.

• Inserting components from CAD library:-

Must know function to set component scale and rotation angle.

• Source and destination arrows:-

This is one of the most useful features in AutoCAD Electrical, which enables to do easy wire cross referencing (From and To).

• Creating intelligent title blocks with ladder cross referencing:-

Many times people do manual editing in each title block individually and with thorough understanding in "title block" function within ACADE one can do the changes in all sheets in one go.

• Component and source destination arrow cross referencing:-

In electrical circuits we use parent and child components (eg. Coil and Contacts of a relay) in different parts of a project. In order to study and read one circuit it is always necessary to trace the locations of all the parts of one component. This automatic cross referencing is another major advantage of ACADE.

• Project Manager functions:-

Managing a project in proper way is as important as creating a set of drawings. This skill makes you a perfect professional design engineer.

• How to create new symbols and user circuits:-

The more and more you use ACADE, you may require more components and circuits which is not there in the standard CAD library. By creating new standard user circuits and symbols you will become master of this art.

• NEMA and IEC electrical circuit:-

These are the two major standards which normally use to design electrical circuits. In this session we will use both the standards to design the same circuit and will spot the difference.

Finally we will do one sample project covering Single Line Diagram, Panel Layouts, Cable tray layouts, Room layouts, Schematic (Wiring) diagram and generating Bill of Materials.
