CLASS 1: PHOTOGRAMMETRY
This class give us the opportunity to go through the workflow in RealityCapture with our Drone footage from the preparation of the images sequence in Nuke to the render in Maya Arnold and Clarisse.
In Reality-capture we will generate the 3D mesh, align and orient properly the mesh, understand the bounding box concept, create some UVs and UDIM's and export an OBJ and TIF textures. Finally, we will jump in Maya and reconnect everything to get our final Layout asset in Arnold.
CLASS 2: LAYOUT IN CLARISSE
We got from RealityCapture our 3D mesh generated, textures and Camera, it's time to set up everything in Clarisse. We will prepare our 3D asset in Maya and export everything as an Alembic file. In this class we will explore in Clarisse the scattering tool and how quick and efficient Clarisse can be to generate our layout with boats, tent, towers for our shot.
CLASS 3: LOOK DEVELOPMENT IN CLARISSE
In this class we will do a lookDev for each asset. Explore the Standard shader and convert our TIF texture file to TX files for memory efficiency. Without texture optimization, the RAM could quickly overload. We will go through the Material Editor and connect all our maps to get our lookDev for each asset.
CLASS 4: LIGHTING IN CLARISSE
Before jumping straight to the lighting tool in Clarisse, we spend couple of minutes analylzing the plate and understand lighting. Setup of the lightRig with Environment and Directional Lights and explain how the different parameters work to match to the plate and integrate the CG assets.
CLASS 5: RENDERING IN CLARISSE
Creation of the Grey, Beauty and Shadow/Reflection passes and renders. An exploration as to how ShadingLayer and groups work in Clarisse and how it's important to keep the Clarisse scene tight up in the Browser. A CG slap comp of all our renders in Nuke and get a solid version for the next department.
CLASS 6: MATCHMOVE PART 1
This three part section, taught by Environments Generalist TD Michal Skowrow (Dneg London), walks you through the process of recreating a virtual camera based on the DJI Mavic 2 Pro drone footage. The entire matchmove pipeline is covered, starting with an overview and gathering of necessary data, de-noising plates, reconstruction of the drone lens, matchmoving the camera, working with the class three photogrammetry to line-up the camera, creation of distortion plate, and how to use it inMaya to Nuke workflow.
CLASS 7: MATCHMOVE PART 2
The second of three classes covering the matchmove process. Michal Skowron has worked for Framestore, MPC and Dneg and also as a university lecturer. He has contributed to larger and smaller productions both in film and TV, product, automotive and medical visualization. Projects include Gravity, Disney Jungle Book, The Martian and more recently the Black Mirror and Chernobyl TV series.

This course aims to provide basic to intermediate skills on implementing Econometrics/Predictive modelling concepts using Eviews software. Whilst its important to develop understanding of econometrics/quantitative modelling concepts, its equally important to be able to implement it using suitable software packages. This course fills the gap between understanding the concepts and implementing them practically. The course works across multiple software packages such as Eviews, MS Office, PDF writers, and Paint. Econometric modeling course aims to provide quantitative/econometric modelling skills typically/specifically in Finance sector. Quantitative methods and predictive modelling concepts could be extensively used in understanding the financial markets movements, and studying tests and effects. The course picks theoretical and practical datasets for econometrics/quantitative/predictive analysis. Implementations are done using Eviews software. Observations, interpretations, predictions and conclusions are explained then and there on the examples as we proceed through the training. The course also emphasizes on the regression models, and AIMS to also cover Auto-Correlation, Co-Integration and ARCH (Auto Regressive Conditional Heteroscedasticity) models.

Description
React is a Javascript library, developed in 2013 by Jordan Walke of Facebook. You'll find React is both very popular (it's the 5th most starred JS library on GitHub) and used on major sites including on Facebook and Netflix.
What is React JS?
ReactJS is an open-source, component based front end library responsible only for the view layer of the application. It is maintained by Facebook. ReactJS uses virtual DOM based mechanism to fill in data (views) in HTML DOM. The virtual DOM works fast owning to the fact that it only changes individual DOM elements instead of reloading complete DOM every time.
In other words, React JS is a JavaScript library used in web development to build interactive elements on websites.
A React application is made up of multiple components, each responsible for outputting a small, reusable piece of HTML. Components can be nested within other components to allow complex applications to be built out of simple building blocks. A component may also maintain internal state - for example, a TabList component may store a variable corresponding to the currently open tab.
React allows us to write components using a domain-specific language called JSX. JSX allows us to write our components using HTML, whilst mixing in JavaScript events. React will internally convert this into a virtual DOM, and will ultimately output our HTML for us.
React "reacts" to state changes in your components quickly and automatically to rerender the components in the HTML DOM by utilizing the virtual DOM. The virtual DOM is an in-memory representation of an actual DOM. By doing most of the processing inside the virtual DOM rather than directly in the browser's DOM, React can act quickly and only add, update, and remove components which have changed since the last render cycle occurred.
Relationship between JavaScript and ReactJS
To understand the relationship between JavaScript and ReactJS first we need to understand what is JavaScript. JavaScript (or JS) is a scripting language used to create and control dynamic web content. Dynamic web content includes things like animated graphics, photo slideshows, and interactive forms. Anytime you visit a website where things move, refresh, or otherwise change on your screen without requiring you to manually reload a web page, there's a very good chance JS is the language making it happen. Hence, JavaScript is a super important coding language used to add animated and interactive features to websites or web applications (on top of the basic, static structures created by languages like HTML and CSS). From the definition above, we can see how JavaScript plays a critical role in website and web application development. But there are times when you need JavaScript to perform repetitive functions-things like stock animation effects or autocomplete search bar features. Re-coding these functions every time they occur becomes a "reinventing the wheel" situation. This is where JavaScript libraries come in.
JavaScript libraries are collections of pre-written JavaScript code that can be used for common JS tasks, allowing you to bypass the time intensive (and unnecessary) process of coding by hand. If there's a run-of-the-mill JavaScript function that you keep needing to code (and that other developers before you have needed for their own projects) there's probably a JS library to ease your pain.
In simple words, there are a lot of different JS libraries out there and React JS is one of them. React is a JavaScript library that specializes in helping developers build user interfaces, or UIs. In terms of websites and web applications, UIs are the collection of on-screen menus, search bars, buttons, and anything else someone interacts with to USE a website or app. In addition to providing reusable React library code (saving development time and cutting down on the chance for coding errors), React comes with two key features that add to its appeal for JavaScript developers:
JSX - JSX (short for JavaScript eXtension) is a React extension that makes it easy for web developers to modify their DOM by using simple, HTML-style code.
Virtual DOM - DOM is the process that makes things "change" on screen without a user having to manually refresh a page. If a developer uses JSX to manipulate and update its DOM, React JS creates something called a Virtual DOM. The Virtual DOM (like the name implies) is a copy of the site's DOM, and React JS uses this copy to see what parts of the actual DOM need to change when an event happens (like a user clicking a button).

It is a CAD modeling tool, meaning there is no limit to detail.

The export system (.OBJ, .FBX etc.) is very powerful, and allows you to control the density of the geometry from very low to very high poly, and oh, it exports very cool UV automatically as well !

Starting with media management and editing, you'll quickly dive into the rabbit hole of node-based compositing, utilizing many tools unique to Flame.

Introduction to Flame - Part 1 Content
CLASS 1: INTRODUCTION After a brief introduction to mandatory and optional equipment, we take a brief look at the rich history of Flame. Following that, we finally start to dip our toes into Flame by taking a tour of the interface, focusing on both the viewer and the desktop.
CLASS 2: EDITING
Flame offers both gestural and track-based editing. We'll take a look at both techniques and also setup the desktop to resemble a more familiar NLE working enviroment.
CLASS 3: TRACKS, VERSIONS AND CONFORMING
Let's add some more tracks to our timeline and also learn what differentiates Tracks from Versions. A close look into the FX Ribbon is also on the table as is a guide to conforming sequences from third party NLE's
CLASS 4: COLOR CORRECTION AND BATCH FX
An in-depth look at both the classic Colour cCorrector as well as the Colour Warper. After that we transition our effects from the timeline into Batch FX to take full advantage of Flame's node based compositing environment.
CLASS 5: IMPORT, COLOR MANAGEMENT AND ANIMATION
The days of dealing with a single color space are over, so we take a good look on how to manage different colour spaces in your timeline. You'll also learn how to correctly import file formats like PSDs or OpenEXR. Finally, some fun with animating some titles.
CLASS 6: KEYING SHOT, PART 1
Moving to the Batch tab, you'll begin keying a shot using Flame's Master Keyer and also explore the concepts of Batch Groups and BFX Clips.
CLASS 7: KEYING SHOT, PART 2
Refining the edges of the key for a better result. An exploration of the concept of iterations, followed by a deep-dive into tracking inside Action and the GMask Tracer.
CLASS 8: KEYING SHOT, PART 3
With the matte complete, a switch over to dispelling, color correction and edge treatment. After a brief stop in the paint node, we finish things off by adding a subtle light wrap to our talent. Along the way we explore the render node and how Flame manages rendered media.
Introduction to Flame - Part 2 Content
CLASS 1: ROTO AND TRACKING While these two topics may be considered grunt work, they are essential for making good composites. So we return to the GMask Tracer to explore it in even more detail and also look at corner pin tracking.
CLASS 2: 3D COMPOSITING INSIDE ACTION
Starting from scratch, we build a small logo animation. In the process, we'll explore how to intelligently parent different objects in Action, setup lights, animate the camera, and finish off the class with a quick examination of displacement maps.
CLASS 3: MULTI-PASS COMPOSITING AND BATCH GROUPS FROM THE TIMELINE
A node-based compositing system really shines when it is supplied with decent passes from CGI, and Flame is no exception. We take an up-close look at comping CGI in Flame, starting with a proper shader rebuild. From there, we'll utilize both matte passes and the depth pass to further enhance our pack shot. After that, we'll discuss a neat workflow on how to tie your Batch Groups to the Timeline of your project.
CLASS 4: INTRODUCTION TO GRADING AND MASTER GRADE
After a brief introduction of the underlying architecture of the grading environment, we explore the Master Grade tool in all its varieties and flavours.
CLASS 5: THE IMAGE TOOLSET AND THE EFFECTS TAB
Using different keyers and all-new machine learning tools, the Image Toolset is a great way to set up your secondary colour correction. Once we're done mastering this tool inside of batch, we switch over to the Effects Tab, where we learn how to quickly navigate between different shots, tracks and timelines.
CLASS 6: WORKFLOW STRATEGIES, EXPORT AND ARCHIVING
To finish off the course, we examine how to best apply the various tools you learned to master in all the previous classes. After that, a close look at how to properly export your finished work and, of course, archive it off your system for storage and later reuse.

This course is ideally for those who at least know the basic tool set within Blender (scaling, extruding, moving, menus, etc). Master or advanced knowledge of Blender is absolutely not required. In a nutshell, this course is intended to be a shop class for computer science. Young computer science students are taught to "drive" the computer; but where do you go to learn what is under the hood? Trying to understand the operating system is unfortunately not as easy as just opening the bonnet. The current Linux kernel runs into the millions of lines of code, add to that the other critical parts of a modern operating system (the compiler, assembler and system libraries) and your code base becomes unimaginable. Further still, add a University level operating systems course (or four), some good reference manuals, two or three years of C experience and, just maybe, you might be able to figure out where to start looking to make sense of it all.
To keep with the car analogy, the prospective student is starting out trying to work on a Formula One engine without ever knowing how a two stroke motor operates. During their shop class the student should pull apart, twist, turn and put back together that two stroke motor, and consequentially have a pretty good framework for understanding just how the Formula One engine works. Nobody will expect them to be a Formula One engineer, but they are well on their way!

This course, from CG Supervisor Charles Chorein, dives into Clarisse and the power of scattering. The course covers the different aspects of scattering in Clarisse, NVIDIA Optix and denoiser, Cryptomatte and Light Path Expression for multi lights. Charles Chorein is a CG supervisor at Dneg London with 12 years of experience. He has been working in London since 2009 and has worked on movies such as The Hobbit, Prometheus, The Hunger Games 2, Superman: Man of Steel, Harry Potter 7, Pirate of the Caribbean 4, and Despicable Me. For the last four years he has been working on TV and episodics, having recently finished Dark Crystal for Netflix. He is currently involved in more projects for Netflix coming early next year.
course syllabus:
CLASS 1: SCATTER BASICS
A basic setup to scatter objects in Clarisse and how you can use geometry prepared in Maya to create a quick layout in Clarisse.
CLASS 2: POINT CLOUD NODE
Painting particle and scatter objects is useful, but using the Point Cloud node helps generate a random point cloud on a surface.
CLASS 3: LAYOUT CONTINUED
With the particle and point cloud setup complete, we can finish our layout and start creating a quick light rig and camera.
CLASS 4: LIGHT RIG CHANGES
A modification of our HDRI, necessitating a change in the way we have to create our light rig. Creating our shader with displacement and Clip Maps for our truck and leaves.
CLASS 5: LIGHT PATH EXPRESSION, PART 1
An exploration of the fascinating world of Light Path Expression (LPE) and examining how useful it can be. Creation of an atmosphere with a Volume box.
CLASS 6: LIGHT PATH EXPRESSION, PART 2
Let's change our HDRI base on the previously created LPEs.
CLASS 7: CRYPTOMATTE
Creating and setting up IDs with red, green, and blue colours is not the best way to do work nowadays. Cryptomatte is a better and more efficient way to approach it and it's easy to set up in Clarisse and use in Nuke.
CLASS 8: SHADING LAYERS & OPTIX
Shading Layers are a very powerful method in Clarisse to set up the scene and manage the shader on a per object basis. How to use Optix to reduce noise without increasing the samples in the path tracer.
CLASS 9: PREPARATION FOR RENDERING
Setting up render passes, groups, AOVs and cryptomatte before the final render.
CLASS 10: ROUGH COMP
Compositing all passes in Nuke and using exported 3D camera data within the 3D environment of Nuke.
