Description
Spring Framework 5 is the THE RIGHT TECHNOLOGY STACK FOR THE JOB AT HAND.
This course offers hands-on experience with Spring and its major features, including configuration, data access, web and REST applications, Spring Boot, Spring Security and using Spring Cloud to build a small microservices application. On completion, participants will have a foundation for creating enterprise-ready applications. This Spring training course is the best way to prepare for the Spring Professional certification exam.
Upon completion of this course, participants will understand how to implement the following:
Spring configuration using Java Configuration and Annotations
Aspect oriented programming with Spring
Spring Data Access - JDBC, JPA and Spring Data
Spring Transaction Management
Build a very powerful MVC web application using Spring
Implementing REST with Spring MVC
The Spring Framework 5 provides a comprehensive programming and configuration model for modern Java-based enterprise applications - on any kind of deployment platform.
A key element of Spring is infrastructural support at the application level: Spring focuses on the "plumbing" of enterprise applications so that teams can focus on application-level business logic, without unnecessary ties to specific deployment environments.
Features
Core technologies: dependency injection, events, resources, i18n, validation, data binding, type conversion, SpEL, AOP.
Testing: mock objects, TestContext framework, Spring MVC Test, WebTestClient.
Data Access: transactions, DAO support, JDBC, ORM, Marshalling XML.
Spring MVC and Spring WebFlux web frameworks.
Integration: remoting, JMS, JCA, JMX, email, tasks, scheduling, cache.
Languages: Kotlin, Groovy, dynamic languages. (We will be using Java)
Here are some of the 5-star rated feedbacks given by my students (consolidated from different courses):
-----------------
Passionate Trainer. Very Simple and Insightful course. I will HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this course for tho Who suggest implementing REST through Java-Jersey or love to try a different way of REST implementations.
(Rukmini Vasudev)
-----------------
I am having a fantastic experience so far (~68%). Thanks to Vinod Sir's clear (and simple) explanation, i have a fully functional, visually appealing movie browser app in my PC now and am looking forward to complete the, more exciting, PWA part and hosting it on the internet.
Pros:
* Step-by-step, clear explanation
* Well-prepared, knowledgeable instructor, hence no time wasting and thereby could pack so much content into just 2 hours
* Excellent audio quality and engaging voice and English diction
* Adequate font size and zoom
* Although himself using Mac, makes it a point to tell without fail the corresponding commands for us Windows users
* Full source code provided so that we can compare in case we get stuck while coding along
* Very speedy response in Q&A section
* Learning Angular is considered difficult, but it doesn't seem so with this course :-)
Prospective students considering enrolling, make note: An overall rating of 4.4 for 9 courses (with each having a rating over 4) with over 12,000 students says it all! Besides you will seldom find an instructor so helpful; for example, in his another Angular course, a thread in Q&A section is 34 replies long--that too not for any deficit in his teaching but about NPM INSTALL doubts, which probably other instructors would have not answered at all or asked to google. And he offers to debug the code via TeamViewer, phone call, or receiving the zipped project via email or Google Drive--can you believe it! So, just hit the enroll button!
(Umesh Krishna Jois)

TTC Video - The Pagan World: Ancient Religions Before Christianity
Video: .MP4, AVC, 1150 kbps, 854x480 | Audio: English, AAC, 96 kbps, 2 Ch | Duration: 24x31 mins | 6.72 GB
Course No. 2852 | Lecturer: Hans-Friedrich Mueller, Ph.D. | + PDF Guidebook
At home and on the battlefield, the leaders of ancient Rome knew their world was filled with signs from the gods, messages they needed to obey if they wanted success. Yes, they developed a well-oiled political and military machine, but they never made big decisions or went to battle without their priests and diviners.
Full Description
Quote:As the famous Roman historian Livy put it: "This city was established with auspices. Who does not know that in war or peace at home or on military campaign all our affairs are conducted with auspices?" What were these auspices so crucial to the affairs of an empire? Auspices-from the Latin, meaning "one who looks at birds"-were signs from the gods revealed in the patterns of bird flight, as interpreted by the augur, a priest.
When we think about the Roman Empire, we tend to visualize massive armies conquering and plundering the peoples of the Mediterranean world. In fact, many have attributed the empire's 1,000-year reign directly to their well-organized military might. But that's not what the Romans thought; Roman leaders consistently ascribed the foundation of their success directly to their superior skills in religious practices.
In The Pagan World: Ancient Religions before Christianity, you will meet the fascinating, polytheistic peoples of the ancient Mediterranean and beyond, their many gods and goddesses, and their public and private worship practices, as you come to better understand the foundational role religion played in their lives. Professor Hans-Friedrich Mueller, of Union College in Schenectady, New York, makes this ancient world come alive in 24 lectures brimming with captivating stories and intriguing personalities, as well as artifacts, illustrations, and detailed quotes and descriptions from a treasure trove of original sources.
Fascinating Picture of Ancient Polytheistic Life
In the ancient Mediterranean world, religion was not separate from daily life. To the contrary, religion was daily life. These polytheists believed they had a strict contract with their deities: If they took care of their gods, their gods would take care of them. That meant following numerous rules and regulations that circumscribed almost all aspects of life both inside and outside the home. Consequently, their religion makes a wonderful lens through which to achieve a deeper understanding of their world.
Unlike modern religions that describe and even compel specific behavior between individuals, these gods weren't as interested in policing morality. So, what about care for fellow humans? Or limits on sexual activity? Or even faith itself? Often these were not major concerns. Where the state took an interest, appropriate laws were passed and enforced. But the gods themselves traditionally judged these mortals primarily by the quantity and quality of their worship.
Those rules became the foundation of the state religion because leaders knew they could not be successful if their subjects were displeasing the gods. Consequently, they built extraordinary temples to honor their many deities, brought food and wine to them, sacrificed animals for them, and held sacred meals in the gods' names-anything and everything to keep them happy.
Architecture, particularly remnants of temples, provide one source of our knowledge about these peoples and their practices-from the sanctuaries of Asklepios and Apollo to the Parthenon to the Caves of Mithras, and beyond. Professor Mueller, a scholar of Greek, Latin, and ancient history, is passionate about this period of history. In The Pagan World: Ancient Religions before Christianity, he discusses these extraordinary temple constructions and gives detailed descriptions from primary sources of intriguing personalities, including:
Art-Statuary, friezes, painting, mosaics, and vases throughout the Roman Empire;
Inscriptions-Pyramid texts and coffin texts found in Egypt ; and
Literature-Writings of philosophers, historians, and politicians, such as Cicero, Euripides, Homer, Lucretius, Livy, Ovid, Plato, Sophocles, and the Rigveda (a text that would become an integral part of Hinduism).
The Benefits of Divination
The many gods of this ancient world were everywhere, with spirits inhabiting every crack and crevice of life. Names of the many gods included:
Vesta, goddess of the family hearth;
Venus, goddess of sex;
Mars, god of the agricultural and military fields;
Maia, goddess of nature;
Limentinus, god of the threshold; and
Cardea, goddess of the door hinges.
Who could interpret the signs from all these deities? Even the common person could understand some. For example, did someone sneeze? Did the sacrificial animal walk willingly to the altar? If not, the gods were not interested. Did the altar burn brightly or did the flame sputter, full of smoke? Did the chickens eat greedily before the battle? Did Jupiter cause thunder and lightning in the midst of a political assembly . on a sunny day? These and other portents were viewed as a serious form of communication between humanity and the divine.
In addition, the Roman Empire had a panoply of priests, pontiffs, and augurs to interpret signs and hired Etruscan haruspices who were specially trained to "read" the entrails of sacrificed animals, particularly the livers. This was crucial; knowing how to compare what was seen inside the sacrificial animal to what was seen out in the world brought mortals and their gods into communion.
But the leadership didn't always agree on the interpretation of signs. And at this intersection of religion and politics, there were definite benefits of divination. The difficulty of interpreting portents and signs provided a forum for discussion and debate. Those conversations fostered creative approaches to a range of possible solutions. Rather than divide society, religious debate helped move people toward consensus.
Acceptance of Other Religions
It may feel like the modern, technology-driven world of today invented globalism. But the ancient peoples of the Near East, Greece, Asia Minor, and the entire Mediterranean had already created globalism as they traded with one another, spoke with each other, borrowed (and stole) ideas, and knew each other's cultures well. And nowhere is this more apparent than in religious practices.
For example, Roman leadership took a pragmatic position toward the unfamiliar faiths they incorporated into their territory. The newly conquered were allowed to practice their former religion-as long as their worship did not clash with the state-sanctioned religion or Roman rule. Conquest also led to rich innovations within religion as Roman society incorporated new gods and practices from the religions of their conquered peoples, including:
Worship of the Greek gods (with new Latin names);
The cult of Isis, which originated in Egypt and spread throughout the empire;
The cult of Mithras, which originated in Persia and was particularly popular among the Roman soldiers; and
Manichaeism, which also originated in Persia and addressed the duality of good and evil.
Rome did not accept all religions, however; they would not tolerate practices that went directly against the law of the land. Consequently, problems were bound to arise between the authority of the state and the worshippers of Bacchus, Druids, Jews, and Christians-something history has since proved.
We know that Christianity, Judaism, and ., still exist in the present day-but so do some ancient, polytheistic religions, at least in some forms. Not only has there been some resurgence in the interest and practice of pagan and polytheistic religions in modern times, but the Rigveda, a collection of hymns from this ancient period, eventually became one of the four sacred texts of Hinduism-one of the most populous and influential religions of the world today. Monotheism may have become predominant in much of the world, but ancient practices and beliefs live on in our culture and many others-in stories and myths as well as in practice and faith.

LEARN FROM AN EXPERT DATA SCIENTIST:
My name is Minerva Singh and I am an Oxford University MPhil (Geography and Environment) graduate. I recently finished a PhD at Cambridge University.
I have +5 years of experience in analyzing real life data from different sources using data science related techniques and producing publications for international peer reviewed journals.
Over the course of my research I realized almost all the R data science courses and books out there do not account for the multidimensional nature of the topic .
This course will give you a robust grounding in the main aspects of practical neural networks and deep learning.
Unlike other R instructors, I dig deep into the data science features of R and give you a one-of-a-kind grounding in data science...
You will go all the way from carrying out data reading & cleaning to to finally implementing powerful neural networks and deep learning algorithms and evaluating their performance using R.
Among other things:
You will be introduced to powerful R-based deep learning packages such as h2o and MXNET.
You will be introduced to deep neural networks (DNN), convolution neural networks (CNN) and unsupervised methods.
You will learn how to implement convolutional neural networks (CNN)s on imagery data using the Keras framework
You will learn to apply these frameworks to real life data including credit card fraud data, tumor data, images among others for classification and regression applications.
With this course, you'll have the keys to the entire R Neural Networks and Deep Learning Kingdom!
NO PRIOR R OR STATISTICS/MACHINE LEARNING KNOWLEDGE IS REQUIRED:
You'll start by absorbing the most valuable R Data Science basics and techniques. I use easy-to-understand, hands-on methods to simplify and address even the most difficult concepts in R.
My course will help you implement the methods using real data obtained from different sources. Many courses use made-up data that does not empower students to implement R based data science in real-life.
After taking this course, you'll easily use data science packages like caret, h2o, mxnet, keras to implement novel deep learning techniques in R. You will get your hands dirty with real life data, including real-life imagery data which you will learn to pre-process and model
You'll even understand the underlying concepts to understand what algorithms and methods are best suited for your data.

This Data Science and Machine Learning course has been designed considering all of the above aspects, the true Data Science and Machine Learning A-Z Course. In many Data Science and Machine Learning courses, algorithms are taught without teaching Python or such programming language. However, it is very important to understand the construct of the language in order to implement any discipline including Data Science and Machine Learning.
Also, without understanding the Mathematics and Statistics it's impossible to understand how some of the Data Science and Machine Learning algorithms and techniques work.
Data Science and Machine Learning is a complex set of topics which are interlinked. However, we firmly believe in what Einstein once said,
"If you can not explain it simply, you have not understood it enough."
As an instructor, I always try my level best to live up to this principle. This is one comprehensive course on Data Science and Machine Learning that teaches you everything required to learn Data Science and Machine Learning using the simplest examples with great depth.
As you will see from the preview lectures, some of the most complex topics are explained in a simple language.
Some of the key skills you will learn,
Python Programming
Python has been ranked as the #1 language for Data Science and Machine Learning. It is easy to use and is rich with various libraries and functions required for performing various tasks for Data Science and Machine Learning. Moreover, it is the most preferred and default language of use for many Deep Learning frameworks including Tensorflow and Keras.
Advance Mathematics for Machine Learning
Mathematics is the very basis for Data Science in general and Machine Learning in particular. Without understanding the meanings of Vectors, Matrices, their operations as well as understanding Calculus, it is not possible to understand the foundation of the Data Science and Machine Learning. Gradient Descent which forms the very basis of Neural Network and Machine Learning is built upon the basics of Calculus and Derivatives.
Advance Statistics for Data Science
It is not enough to know only mean, median, mode etc. The advance techniques of Data Science and Machine Learning such as Feature Selection, Dimensionality Reduction using PCA are all based on advance inferential statistics of Distributions and Statistical Significance. It also helps us understanding the data behavior and then apply an appropriate machine learning technique to get the best result from various techniques of Data Science and Machine Learning.
Data Visualization
As they say, picture is worth a thousand words. Data Visualization is one of the key techniques of Data Science and Machine Learning and is used for Exploratory Data Analysis. In that, we visually analyse the data to identify the patterns and trends. We are going to learn how to create various plots and charts as well as how to analyse them for all the practical purposes. Feature Selection plays a key role in Machine Learning and Data Visualisation is key for it.
Data Processing
Data Science require extensive data processing. Data Science and Machine Learning practitioners spend more than 2/3rd of the time processing and analysing the data. Data can be noisy and is never in the best shape and form. Data Processing is one of the key disciplines of Data Science and Machine Learning to get the best results. We will be using Pandas which is the most popular library for data processing in Python and various other libraries to read, analyse, process and clean the data.
Machine Learning
The heart and soul of Data Science is the predictive ability provided by the algorithms from Machine Learning and Deep Learning. Machine Learning takes the overall discipline of Data Science ahead of others. We will combine everything we would learn from the previous sections and build various machine learning models. The key aspects of the Machine Learning is not just about the algorithms but also understanding various parameters used by Machine Learning algorithms. We will understand all the key parameters and how their values impact the outcome so that you can build the best machine learning models.
Feature Selection and Dimensionality Reduction
In case you wonder, what makes a good data scientists, then this section is the answer. A good Data Science and Machine Learning practitioner does not just use libraries and code few lines. She will analyse every feature of the data objectively and choose the most relevant ones based on statistical analysis. We will learn how to reduce the number of features as well as how we can retain the value in the data when we practice and build various machine learning models after applying the principles of Feature Selection and Dimensionality Reduction using PCA.
Deep Learning
You can not become a good Data Science and Machine Learning practitioner, if you do not know how to build powerful neural network. Deep Learning can be said to be another kind of Machine Learning with great power and flexibility. After Learning Machine Learning, we are going to learn some key fundamentals of Deep Learning and build a solid foundation first. We will then use Keras and Tensorflow which are the most popular Deep Learning frameworks in the world.
Kaggle Project

Course No. 8164 | Lecturer: Patrick N. Allitt, Ph.D.
History is filled with surprises, not the least of which, was the fall of the Soviet Union in 1989.
Full Description
Quote:But what about the 30 years following the fall of the Soviet Union? This period of history is still being written. The end of the Cold War is a natural stopping point, but also a natural starting point, an inflection point when one story ends and something new-something unpredictable from what happened before-begins. Nonetheless, events of today have also been profoundly shaped by the past several decades, and we must understand this recent history to understand today's world. Among other things, our world is a product of:
"New world order" that emerged in the 1990s, in which the United States was the sole remaining superpower on the world stage;
International conflicts, particularly driven by non-state actors and terrorists;
Political polarization that simmered during the Clinton administration and came to a rolling boil in the Obama and Trump administrations;
Golden age of science and technology that has profoundly reshaped our understanding of the universe and the way humans interact with each other; and
Business cycle extremes, with longer booms and a bigger bust, from the "great moderation" in the 1990s through the 2008 financial crisis and the years of slow recovery.
Contemporary life is changing so rapidly that it can be breathtaking to take a step back and look at the cohesive "story" from 1990 to 2019, but this is precisely what America after the Cold War: The First Thirty Years offers. Taught by esteemed professor and Great Courses favorite Dr. Patrick Allitt of Emory University, these 12 fascinating lectures tie the threads of contemporary life together to give you a rich understanding of the United States of America after the threat of annihilating war with the Soviet Union had miraculously passed.
After the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989, it seemed the United States was poised for a new era of growth, equality, and peace. America after the Cold War: The First Thirty Years walks you through the promise, achievements, and shortcomings of America at the head of a self-proclaimed "new world order."
Explore America's Role on the World Stage
After the breakup of the Soviet Union, the United States was the sole remaining military superpower; yet, a look back to the 1990s shows a nation sometimes uneasy with this new role. When Saddam Hussein invaded Kuwait in 1990, American political leaders debated isolationism versus being the world's peacekeeper. President George H. W. Bush (the 41st president) chose a middle ground of sending in troops to defend Kuwait but stopping short of regime change in Iraq. And later in the decade, the United States chose not to get involved in conflicts in Bosnia and Rwanda.
Yet after the attack on American soil of 9/11 in 2001, President George W. Bush (the 43rd president) led America in a more active-and at times destructive-role in the world. After reviewing the events, alliances, and sociopolitical background at the time of the attack on September 11th, Professor Allitt walks you through the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.
He takes an objective, historian's approach to recounting facts, and draws threads together to show how Presidents Obama and Trump either continued or rejected military intervention-and how Syria, for example, remains in tumult. In some ways, the story of America is the story of our leadership, for both good and ill.
Witness an Unprecedented Amount of Change
In parallel to America's military interventions abroad, our country was experiencing an astonishing amount of change on the domestic front. Professor Allitt takes you beyond the big headline events-O. J. Simpson, Clinton's impeachment trial, the 2000 election fiasco, the 2008 financial crisis, health care reform, the Mueller investigation-and shows you the significant trends that have shaped our society, such as:
Education: How does our public education system stack up against education systems throughout the world? What policies have we implemented and how have they worked? Consider the following programs: "No Child Left Behind," the "Race to the Top," charter colleges, and more.
Science: From the Hubble Telescope to the human genome to emergent technologies, the past 30 years have seen a remarkable flourishing in STEM fields.
Technology: The smart phone, social media, navigation apps, disruptive online enterprises, and the emerging surveillance state have transformed how we interact with each other and the world.
Energy Independence: The controversial development of shale oil and natural gas has substantially freed the United States from reliance on energy imports from despotic and repressive regimes, while also making fossils fuels harder to resist.
Environment: From the Kyoto Protocol to the Fukushima disaster, and from "cap and trade" policy efforts to policies promoting solar and wind power, the relationship between industry, energy, and climate change is one of the most important themes in contemporary history.
Putting the Story of America Together
Perhaps the most profound change over the past 30 years is the massive amount of change within our American culture. For example, we have been experiencing an artistic golden age, with novelists, filmmakers, artists, architects, and musicians finding new ways to express the self and our time.
America has always been something of a paradox-a colony turned superpower, a productivity dynamo with a widening gulf between rich and poor, and a land of the free that has abetted inequality and racial injustice. One further paradox within our culture is the relationship between opportunity and oppression. Since 1990, the United States has seen an amazing leap in productivity and creativity, and most Americans are living the most enriched lives ever. The same country that elected the first black president to office also witnessed protest movements against security officer brutality and a resurgence of white nationalism. The context and connections you will uncover throughout the 12 lectures of this course can help you to better understand the paradoxes that lie at the heart of modern American history.
History remains full of surprising turns, as America after the Cold War: The First Thirty Years makes clear. The story of the United States is ongoing, but by synthesizing events and illuminating context with insight, Professor Allitt offers a fascinating exploration of the most recent roots of contemporary America.

Video: .MP4, AVC, 1700 kbps, 640x360 | Audio: English, AAC, 96 kbps, 2 Ch | Duration: 1h 18m | 1.02 GB
Course No. 90019
This first-time-ever original narrative documentary is a unique and entertaining retelling of the turbulent yet fascinating events leading up to and through the impeachment of President Andrew Johnson. You'll hear "first-hand" from the characters themselves-including Thaddeus Stevens, Charles Sumner, and others who were involved-as you get an in-depth and evenhanded view of an often-overlooked period in American history. And these characters are probably unlike anyone you have encountered. With back-stabbings, acts of violence, twists and turns, and a cult of personalities, the factual history of this case unfolds like a fictional story.

Instructor: Jon Krohn
An intuitive introduction to the latest superhuman capabilities facilitated by Deep Learning.
Overview
Machine Vision, GANs, Deep Reinforcement Learning LiveLessons is an introduction to three of the most exciting topics in Deep Learning today. Modern machine vision involves automated systems outperforming humans on image recognition, object detection, and image segmentation tasks. Generative Adversarial Networks cast two Deep Learning networks against each other in a "forger-detective" relationship, enabling the fabrication of stunning, photorealistic images with flexible, user-specifiable elements. Deep Reinforcement Learning has produced equally surprising advances, including the bulk of the most widely-publicized "artificial intelligence" breakthroughs. Deep RL involves training an "agent" to become adept in given "environments," enabling algorithms to meet or surpass human-level performance on a diverse range of complex challenges, including Atari video games, the board game Go, and subtle hand-manipulation tasks. Throughout these lessons, essential theory is brought to life with intuitive explanations and interactive, hands-on Jupyter notebook demos. Examples feature Python and straightforward Keras layers in TensorFlow 2, the most popular Deep Learning library.

Data Science and Machine Learning
28% Demand Increase by 2020 || 4,524 Number of Job Openings || $120,931 Average Base Salary || #1 Best Job in America 2016, 2017, 2018
A Big YES, Data Science is a good career option.
The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that the rise of data science needs will create 11.5M job openings by 2026. According to IBM the demand for Data Scientists will increase up to 28% by the year 2020
What is Data Science?
Use of the term Data Science is increasingly common, but what does it exactly mean? What skills do you need to become Data Scientist? What is the difference between BI and Data Science? How are decisions and predictions made in Data Science? These are some of the questions that will be answered further.
First, let's see what is Data Science. Data Science is a blend of various tools, algorithms, and machine learning principles with the goal to discover hidden patterns from the raw data. How is this different from what statisticians have been doing for years?
The answer lies in the difference between explaining and predicting.
Data scientists are analytical data experts who have the technical skills to solve complex problems - and the curiosity to explore what problems need to be solved.
Data science is a multidisciplinary blend of data inference, algorithm development, and technology in order to solve analytically complex problems.
Data science continues to evolve as one of the most promising and in-demand career paths for skilled professionals. Today, successful data professionals understand that they must advance past the traditional skills of analyzing large amounts of data, data mining, and programming skills. In order to uncover useful intelligence for their organizations.
Effective data scientists are able to identify relevant questions, collect data from a multitude of different data sources, organize the information, translate results into solutions, and communicate their findings in a way that positively affects business decisions. These skills are required in almost all industries, causing skilled data scientists to be increasingly valuable to companies.
Glassdoor ranked data scientist as the #1 Best Job in America in 2018 for the third year in a row. As increasing amounts of data become more accessible, large tech companies are no longer the only ones in need of data scientists. The growing demand for data science professionals across industries, big and small, is being challenged by a shortage of qualified candidates available to fill the open positions.
The need for data scientists shows no sign of slowing down in the coming years. LinkedIn listed data scientist as one of the most promising jobs in 2017 and 2018, along with multiple data-science-related skills as the most in-demand by companies.
Unlike some other programming languages, in Python, there is generally a best way of doing something. The three best and most important Python libraries for data science are NumPy, Pandas, and Matplotlib.
NumPy and Pandas are great for exploring and playing with data. Matplotlib is a data visualization library that makes graphs like you'd find in Excel or Google Sheets.
Why learn Python?
Python is an object-orientated language that closely resembles the English language which makes it a great language to learn for beginners as well as seasoned professionals.
Examples sites that use Python are Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, NASA, IBM, Nokia, etc.
Python is one of the most widely used programming languages in the AI field of Artificial Intelligence thanks to its simplicity. It can seamlessly be used with the data structures and other frequently used AI algorithms.
Advantages of Python
GUI based desktop applications
Image processing and graphic design applications
Scientific and computational applications
Games
Web frameworks and web applications
Enterprise and business applications
Operating systems
Language development
Prototyping
Whenever you're faced with a problem and are figuring out how to do it, there will be multiple well-documented ways.
You can become productive in Python fairly quickly even as a beginner, yet it will serve you in industry like a champ too!
1) Python can be used to develop prototypes, and quickly because it is so easy to work with and read.
2) Most automation, data mining, and big data platforms rely on Python. This is because it is the ideal language to work with for general purpose tasks.
3) Python allows for a more productive coding environment than massive languages like C# and Java. Experienced coders tend to stay more organized and productive when working with Python, as well.
4) Python is easy to read, even if you're not a skilled programmer. Anyone can begin working with the language, all it takes is a bit of patience and a lot of practice. Plus, this makes it an ideal candidate for use among multi-programmer and large development teams.
5) Python powers Django, a complete and open source web application framework. Frameworks - like Ruby on Rails - can be used to simplify the development process.
Do you want to become a Data Scientist? Are you willing to learn Machine Learning? Well you're at the right place!!
The average salary for a Machine Learning Engineer is $138,920 per year in the United States by Indeed.
Machine learning is a field of computer science that uses statistical techniques to give computer systems the ability to "learn" (e.g., progressively improve performance on a specific task) with data, without being explicitly programmed ~ by Wikipedia.
Machine learning can easily consume unlimited amounts of data with timely analysis and assessment. This method helps review and adjusts your message based on recent customer interactions and behaviors. Once a model is forged from multiple data sources, it has the ability to pinpoint relevant variables. This prevents complicated integrations, while focusing only on precise and concise data feeds.
Machine learning algorithms tend to operate at expedited levels. In fact, the speed at which machine learning consumes data allows it to tap into burgeoning trends and produce real-time data and predictions
1. Churn analysis - it is imperative to detect which customers will soon abandon your brand or business. Not only should you know them in depth - but you must have the answers for questions like "Who are they? How do they behave? Why are They Leaving and What Can I do to keep them with us?"
2. Customer leads and conversion - you must understand the potential loss or gain of any and all customers. In fact, redirect your priorities and distribute business efforts and resources to prevent losses and refortify gains. A great way to do this is by reiterating the value of customers in direct correspondence or via web and mail-based campaigns.
3. Customer defections - make sure to have personalized retention plans in place to reduce or avoid customer migration. This helps increase reaction times, along with anticipating any non-related defections or leaves.
Many hospitals use this data analysis technique to predict admissions rates. Physicians are also able to predict how long patients with fatal diseases can live.
Insurance agencies across the world are also able to do the following:
Predict the types of insurance and coverage plans new customers will purchase.
Predict existing policy updates, coverage changes and the forms of insurance (such as health, life, property, flooding) that will most likely be dominant.
Predict fraudulent insurance claim volumes while establishing new solutions based on actual and artificial intelligence.
Machine learning is proactive and specifically designed for "action and reaction" industries. In fact, systems are able to quickly act upon the outputs of machine learning - making your marketing message more effective across the board.
So in this course Machine Learning, Data Science and Neural Networks + AI we will discover topics:

By completing this course, you will walk away with a comprehensive view of how to model from the ground up, with a super-fast industry-standard workflow. All this exclusively in Blender 2.8.
Using everything I learned from previous courses, mainly from all your helpful feedback, I was able to make a course that really has the wow-factor; something you will be proud of accomplishing.
My move into the sci-fi scene has been met with remarkable student feedback, such as:
"I found the course great. And the asset is shaping to be something that looks at home in Metroid or Halo- I really think the end asset does look that good. Plus for a little extra spice, you could also bring the asset into Substance Painter and truly make it your own. Overall whether this is your first Blender course or you have been around before, the course is worth it. The instructor does not go too fast or skips about how he did; a, b, c -everything is explained.".
Through my introduction of on-screen tooltips, 3D Tudor courses have become much more beginner-friendly and in-depth. The focus of this new course is to take anyone no matter their level in 3D modeling and teach them how to model a lightsaber from the ground up. The course has nearly 9 hours of content and is a one-stop course to take you on your way to a professional level. By joining this Udemy course you will engage in a journey of in-depth learning focused on the most important aspects of 3D modeling and animation. Blender Procedures will cover modeling, texturing, animation, lighting, and rendering. By the end of the course, you will have created a professional-looking sci-fi asset most commonly known as a lightsaber.
Modeling
We will be creating one of the most famous sci-fi assets - the lightsaber - a contraption reminiscent of popular cinema titles. This course is coming out just a few months before a major game release that will revolutionize the sci-fi genre, Cyberpunk 2077 by Project Red.
'Blender 2.8 Creating a Lightsaber for Beginners' has a new learning format that will be relevant to beginners. This course is also relevant to those students who are more familiar with 3D creation and modeling using Blender software, or those who are transitioning into Blender from another piece of software or from the previous older versions of Blender.
This Udemy course aims to teach you from the ground up. It will cover the very basics of modeling and teach you the tips and tricks that the pros use in Blender 2.8. This course explains everything and will include a step-by-step exploration of all the new shortcuts that have come with this new Blender version. You will be able to keep up with the course's pace through having an on-screen visual tooltip. Anything that needs some explanation is explained easily using a small pop-up box, so you will never be lost. My goal here is to not only have students re-create this lightsaber but for them to come away with a comprehensive understanding of how and why. By the end of the course, the knowledge you will have learned can be put to use independent of the direction you take in 3D modeling - following the amateur or the professional path.
Texturing
Texturing is perhaps the most important part of any 3D model. I will show you the most efficient and quickest ways of preparing a mesh for adding materials in Blender. We will be going over how to mark seems, how to correct texture resolutions, and how to UV-unwrap. A new thing in this course will be learning how to mark sharps, so that you can create hard and soft edges for your 3D models within Blender 2.8. You will also be able to keep these edges you create even if you are exporting to Substance Painter or Unreal Engine 4. All these course components would be a course in their own right, so by enrolling, you will be able to develop your skills in a multi-faceted way. To save time on your usual trial and error process, I will show you both the right and the wrong way of doing this. You will be fully prepared and provided with the skills to 'clean' a 3D model mesh to an industry standard.
We will also explore the Blender 2.8 node system in depth, where you will learn not only how to import textures and maps, but also how to change the way materials look.
Animation
Have you ever wanted to learn how to build a full animation cycle? The learning outcomes of this Udemy course include creating a complete animation cycle in Blender 2.8. The lightsaber we will be creating will be animated with light coming out and in. The animation will be set up in such a way that the light (i.e., blade) will be following the assigned movement consistent with how the lightsaber moves - making it perfect for fight scenes!. You will learn all about armatures and bones, and you will be shown how to keyframe. We will move on to the complex fundamentals of animations, where we learn how to weight and attach bones to meshes. This is exactly the same process as in Hollywood for computer-generated imaging (CGI) or the respective gaming industry. You can apply these skills to any animations you decide to make in the future, and I would be excited to see you upload animations of other models as part of this Udemy course project.
Freebies
You will be glad to know that this Udemy course comes with a small resource pack of five 2k resolution texture maps including all albedo (i.e., color), normal, roughness, metallic, and displacement maps free to download with this course. These are resources that you are free to download and reuse in your other projects. You could also utilize them in your lightsaber course project, which you are encouraged to upload as part of this course. Freebies also include two references, created in Adobe Photoshop, created specifically for this course: a dual lightsaber, and a small lightsaber. I created all these textures and resources using a mix of Substance Painter, and Adobe Photoshop. All textures included for free with this course are custom made specifically for this course.
Lighting
I always feel that lighting is one of the key components that tend to be the most overlooked. To be honest, I learned this the hard way, seeing as lighting is important with regards to making a scene look overwhelmingly beautiful or realistic or tragically bad. I went back to the drawing board and developed my skills in Blender and in lighting. Over time, I learned exactly how to light scenes. This knowledge I now pass on to my students. You will learn all about Blender 2.8 lighting and lighting effects.
Rendering
Finally, after all the preparations for making a realistic sci-fi scene, we will be rendering two stills in one of the best renderers in the industry - Eevee Render. Through this course, you will gain the knowledge to create great-looking scenes in Eevee rendering engine. We will also be setting up studio lighting to create a nice render for a portfolio piece. You will spend a lot of time on getting your emission nodes correct. We will be setting up cameras and I will be going through different techniques to help improve the quality of your renders.
Happy modeling everyone!
Neil, 3D Tudor

We Understand - Networking by its nature is inclined towards being a theoretical subject of study. To arouse the interest of the students ,we elaborate each and every topic of this course through an assignment or project.
This course is thorough. We explain the design, discuss the code flow and then guide the audience how to implement the particular concept design in detail in a step by step manner. All you need is a Linux OS running on your system to do this course.
Who should do this course ?
This course is meant for UG Computer science students, job seekers and professional developers. This is MUST do course for those who want to join MNCs as a developer. The topics covered in this course are of utmost importance from interviews aspects and students graduating in computer science and looking to seek an opportunity in MNCs as a developer should have Networking concepts at his/her finger tips. Better to have done Networking under graduate course, not mandatory. Job seekers trying for the position of Networking developers in product based MNCs System software development including Networking is an evergreen area. Internet will not going to be doomed ever.
Pre-requisite
There is no pre-requisite for this course, however, it shall be advantage if you know a little of C. We designed this course assuming student is a complete beginner in Networking and we raise the level of course gradually as we move from Basic to advance Networking concepts.
Also, Please just do not sit and watch my codes. Write your own codes, even if it is same as mine !
We have a strong reasons to choose C as a language for this course:
1. The entire core networking development work is being done in C in industry. So, this reason alone is good enough that you should learn network development in C if you are aiming to join industry as a network protocol developer.
2. Network equipment need to interact with underlying hardware - the ASIC chips. What could be a better language other than C when it comes to interact and program the hardware.
3. C is middle level language - not as low as assembly, neither as high as Java/Python. In C, its the programmer's responsibility to write every line of code to get the task done, unlike Java/Python which provides rich rest of libraries to do the most tasks for you. Using High Level Languages for learning network programming would obscure the low level details of networking - that is what is going behind the scenes. If you are are beginner in network programming, you must learn things from scratch and only C provides you the opportunity to do that. So, you must do all your assignments in C.
4. Networking is all about cooking up the packets and sending it out of wire. C will allow you to cook packets exactly the same way as you would like them to appear on wire. Lot of Bit level programming.
5. If you are a beginner in Networking, pls refrain from learning network programming in High Level Languages such as Java Or Python. It is not job oriented thing to do in networking domain.
No Third Party libraries
Whatever logic you implement, you need to implement it from scratch. This course do not suggest taking help of any third party library to get the jobs done. Use of external libraries completely defeats the purpose of the course. However, it is recommended to use third party libraries for commonly used data structures such as linked lists/Trees/Queues etc which saves a lot of time implementing these data structures.
What else along with the course ?
If you are aiming to become a developer, then, besides strong in Data structure and Algorithms, you should have clarity of concepts related to other Linux utilities. Networking is all about system programming, and you would be interested in learning other linux concepts of prime importance such as Inter Process Communication, Remote Procedure Calls etc. Please take a look at my other courses in this regard. These courses will summed you up as a more competitive developer in Networking & System Programming domain.

***** What a Fantastic Course!!! I really appreciate the efforts Abhishek has put in this course. He has put his sweat and heart into it. The way he explains things keeps you hooked on to this course. He directly gets TO THE POINT without beating around the bush. No author of any networking book can explain things like Abhishek is doing. What Abhishek is doing is that he is explaining the Meat of the subject. One would have to read 10 books to understand this. or perhaps more. There was a hunch in my heart that dont know networking clearly. This course meets my expectations with respect to content, clarity and teaching style with proper presentations. This course improves your understanding and removes the fear of not knowing...not only that, it injects a good amount of confidence about your knowledge of Networking...Thanks for coming up with such a course. Thanks Again.
***** Come across right course at right time. This course seems cover all important areas of networking. Author explains the topics in good detail and with good pace. This course looks like designed to beat technical interviews.
***** Great Course, instructor is very thorough and provide quick guidance and clear any doubts promptly with high availability. I really enjoyed this course. Networking has been a tough subject for me to learn, but this course has made it quite easy. I now have my concepts thoroughly clear ! Thanks Abhishek, and Udemy.
***** I am working as Firmware/Embedded engineer, and the courses from this guys are goddamn blessing. In the real industry, as he mentioned earlier, all network programming or Linux system programming must be implemented with C cuz C is a perfect language for accessing memory spaces and customizing serial communication with other chips. In the real industrial fields, no one is gonna teach you. You are the only one who needs to figure it out by yourself cuz everyone wishes you not to excel in workplace. Only one person can be a manager or supervisor. Take this guy's courses. Needless to say, quality guaranteed. If I could do hacking on this site, i am gonna crash his lectures. I do not want other people to get benefits from his lectures. It would be best if he makes a lecture for "making Operating System from scratch" :)
Warning : This course has auto system-generated subtitles which may not be perfect. Please disable subtitles as per your convenience.

.MP4, AVC, 960x540, 24 fps | English, AAC, 2 Ch | 4.5h | 3.45 GB
Award-winning bartenders Lynnette Marrero and Ryan Chetiyawardana (aka Mr Lyan) bring their unique philosophies and backgrounds together to collaborate in a MasterClass on mixology. They share their insider tips and techniques to teach you how to create the perfect cocktail for any mood or occasion. From developing your palate and mastering classic cocktail structures to building your home bar and pairing drinks with food, you'll learn everything you need to delight and impress your friends and family with delicious, original concoctions.
Lynnette Marrero is a proud Nuyorican who draws on her Puerto Rican roots for flavor inspiration and a dedication to hospitality. She's been at the forefront of the New York City-based craft cocktail movement, and she was recognized as one of "America's Leading Female Mixologists" by the James Beard Foundation in 2009. Lynnette was also named one of Food and Wine with Fortune Magazine's "Most Innovative Women in Food and Drink" in 2015 and Wine Enthusiast's Mixologist/Brand Ambassador of the Year in 2016. She is currently bar director at Llama Inn and Llama San in New York City and is a cofounder of Speed Rack, an all-female high-speed bartending competition designed to highlight up-and-coming women in the cocktail industry and give back to those impacted by breast cancer.
Better known as Mr Lyan, Ryan Chetiyawardana opened his first bar, White Lyan, in London in 2013 as the first cocktail bar in the world to use no perishables. He went on to found Dandelyan, named the world's best bar in 2018, Silver Lyan in Washington, D.C., Super Lyan in Amsterdam, and Lyaness and Cub in London. He was named Person of the Decade by Time Out in 2020, Spirits Communicator of the Year in 2019, and Personality of the Decade in 2017. Ryan is the author of Good Together: Drink & Feast with Mr Lyan & Friends, and he's a founding member of P(our), which organizes an annual symposium that brings together bartenders, baristas, sommeliers, brewers, winemakers, distillers, and drinks manufacturers, as well as people of other disciplines, to discuss the past, present, and future of drink.
In their online class, you'll learn about:
• Craft cocktail culture
• World-class cocktails
• Getting behind the bar
• Exploring the palate
• Solo starters: Mojito and Whiskey Smash
• Intimate classics: the Old Fashioned
• Shared sours: Clara Bow, Margarita, Siesta, and Cosmopolitan

Lesson Plan
01. Meet Your Instructors: Lynnette Marrero & Ryan Chetiyawardana
A leader in the New York City-based craft cocktail movement, Lynnette Marrero is the bar director at the Llama Inn in Brooklyn. Nicknamed "Mr Lyan," Ryan Chetiyawardana has opened award-winning bars around the world.
02. Lynnette's Perspective on Craft Cocktail Culture
Lynnette shares the origins of the craft cocktail movement and how her experience working in the restaurant industry informs her drink-making style. She also discusses the importance of mentorship and empowering women in the industry.
03. Mr Lyan's Philosophy on World Class Cocktails
Ryan believes cocktails can boost your mood by bringing people together. World class cocktails aren't about obscure ingredients or fancy equipment, he says-they're about the people and the occasions you're making them for.
04. Get Behind the Bar
Lynnette and Ryan discuss the essentials for a home bar. Ryan encourages you to work with the spirits you love, Lynnette covers which spirits are the most versatile, and they agree that it's best to make use of what you have.
05. Exploring the Palate
Your individual palate should guide you in building cocktails that balance sour and sweet flavors. Lynnette and Ryan demonstrate their preferred lemonades and then add seasonal ingredients, resulting in perfectly balanced non-alcoholic drinks.
06. Solo Starters: Mojito and Whiskey Smash
Ryan and Lynnette demonstrate some cocktails to relax with on your own after a long day.
07. Intimate Classics: The Old Fashioned
Lynnette teaches you her riff on the Fancy Free, a quicker version of an Old Fashioned. Ryan demonstrates a more advanced version by infusing bourbon with beeswax and bottling it for a fun gift.
08. Shared Sours: Clara Bow, Margarita, Siesta, and Cosmopolitan
Sours are a favorite of Lynnette's, and she explains what they involve and demonstrates three different drinks. Ryan shares his recipe for the often-misunderstood Cosmopolitan.
09. Silky Egg White Sours: Panacea, Pisco Sour, and Morning Glory Fizz
Egg whites make for silky-smooth sours. Lynnette and Ryan show you how to incorporate egg whites into drinks using citrus (which "cooks" the whites), with whiskey and pisco as base spirits.
10. Shared Classics: The Martini
Learn a new take on the vodka Martini from Ryan, who also demonstrates a classic gin Martini. Lynnette makes a Bond-style Vesper and a Martinez, a Manhattan/Martini hybrid that originated in the late 1800s.
11. Dinner Party Classics: The Negroni
Lynnette's riff on the classic Negroni swaps gin for aged rum, resulting in a toffee-flavored cocktail. Ryan shows you how to use the microwave to infuse spirits with fresh herbs and fruit.
12. Dinner Party Refreshments: Sherry Spritz and Queen's Park Swizzle
Ryan creates a savory spritz using basil and bell peppers. Lynnette explains her swizzle technique and how rum can be brightened up with mint and Angostura Bitters.
13. Party Starters: Tiki and DIY Highballs
Lynnette creates an island party in a glass. Ryan teaches you how to keep guests entertained by batching a base and laying out garnishes and mixers so everyone can make their own custom highballs.
14. Celebratory Libations: Pre-Batched Cocktails and Punches
Impress a crowd with a champagne cocktail you can batch ahead of time with Ryan's bottled fizz. Lynnette shares a recipe for a punch called the Llama del Rey, which includes a variation of a traditional Peruvian drink.
15. Raucous Drinks: The Lyan Mary
Ryan demonstrates his signature interpretation of a Bloody Mary. Learn which spices and flavors are ideal and why you shouldn't overload the glass with garnishes.
16. Pairing Cocktails With Food
Lynnette's version of a Barracuda holds up against the savory meat and pungent cheese of a charcuterie board. Ryan's Portland Calling is a refreshing complement to a light berry and custard tart served for dessert.
17. Creativity and Craft
Lynnette and Ryan talk about what they've learned from each other and why they love collaboration. They encourage you to get creative, collaborate with friends at home, and concoct your own original drinks.
