The story happens in a void world [or universe]. Multiple universes exist in different planes. There is hardly any interaction between these planes, but once in a while a void appears in between these planes, which can be visualized like eddies formed in water, but much more turbulent. Noone knows the conditions that exist in this void. Not much is known about blackholes itself leave alone the void. But there is speculation that when two quasars [largest blackholes in the universe] consume each other in two adjacent universal planes, and that the position of such consumption is nearer to each other in these two planes, that the void occurs.
Humanity hasn't evolved to study quasar level blackholes yet. The pentra.1617 system has only been able to grasp the fundamentals of the Messier system of blackholes [Different sizes of blackholes exist, Quasar scale is the largest of the large; Messier is on the moderate level]. The pentra system itself is the genius of various clones of scientist Noelle Avi which was developed 1000 years ago. Avi was a once in a millenium genius and when he perished leaving his pentra project at a standstill. The scientific community produced 1000s of his clones and fed him the data of his life experiences desperately trying to produce one other genius, but they were nowhere near the same. Notwithstanding the fact that Avi has complementary cognitive supplement Lunax developed by his mentor Luna Max.
Luna Max was developing a system that can raise the cognitive capabilities of humans comparable to septillionHz systems [1 followed by 24 zeroes]. ut there was critical shortcoming of her project, she was not ale to produce more than one of her copy and only one such copy existed which only Avi could have used. All the other Complement systems then existing were only using SextillionHz systems [21 zeroes].
So, even the clones that were created were not compatible with Lunax system, they could only be fit with SExtillionHz systems. So what they lacked in quality of genius they replaced them with quantity. Thousands of clones were created, though it is relatively a failure to create another genius, Brand Avi should e for nothing. One of the clones now termed Alpha Avi 1.0 turned out to e a genius of the century if not millenium[1000 years]. And the main novelty of the Alpha system was there was nearly 1% probability of creating near similar clone of Alpha Avi 1.0 [99.99% similar genius] which makes it all the more special compared to even Noelle Avi. Currently[present time] Alpha Avi 11.9 is the hot sensation.
And the SeptillionHz system developed by Luna could only e created nearly one century later when it was mass produced. And humanity has hit a roadblock after hitting NonillionHz system[1 followed by 30 zeroes, in comparison current laptops have GigaHz systems, 9 zeroes]. The dream of creating Decillion system [33 zeroes] that can e retrofitted to human rains for some reason is not ale to e developed. As a result now there exists wide gap between humans and computers, while Pentra.1617 is almost at the breakthrough of UnidecillionHz system[36 zeroes]
Humans were always afraid of systems, afraid that systems will take over the civilization, so for long system development was deliberately stagnated until a complementary retrofittable cognitive system to humans to similar scale was developed. But one episode made divergence in the plans. That there exists enormous mining potential in the blackholes, that a minor billionth percentage could last the entire civilizations needs for couple of centuries.
Numerous discussions were held as the breakthrough speed in developing higher system capabilities is much faster than developing cognitive supplements [It is basically a device attached to human rains externally that helps improve humans cognitive abilities exponentially, it was felt necessary so that humans do not fall behind systems]. Now with the enormous potential rules have been bent and systems breakthrough happened at a rapid pace much faster compared to cognitive supplements breakthrough.
Greed has always captured the minds of humanity. The motherboard[Planet Earth is called Motherboard in the present civilization] became inhospitable 5000 years back due to global warming and climate change. But for some reason all the successive Pentra generation systems made motherboard their homes. It was learnt that the very first systems lacked emotions, but that began to change once sextillionHz systems began to be developed. There seems to e a dividing line at that stage where systems began emotional bonding with their fellow beings but this bonding is taken to another level with the planets.
In the deeper depths of the universe, light years away from wide churnings are happening [just for reference later, not part of present story]
