Pregnancy:
I dont think Meera will have a kid with desai so easily. It is clear that she trusted Desai more than Krish but I dont think she trusts him completely yet to take such a step. She is not that stupid to fall for what all desai's says during their sex. She knows that desai intentionally makes her talk all this when she is at peak during sex. What she wants is very clear in her mind. Starting a family is something she is fond of since long. She has always had upper hand when it comes to Desai or Krish. There have been multiple instances where she has let desai come in her and was never worried or scared after that because she took the pills to prevent pregnancy (she has this in her control).

Money:
Again meera has always maintained her status and kept desai at bay. She strictly rejected desai's proposal when he wanted to do business where meera was employed. She could have easily used this opportunity to grow in her career. She never tried to independently invest; She always discussed with krish about investment/properties/savings and the couple together took decisions in these matters.  She had many opportunities w.r.t making money or growing in her career using her relation be it with Desai/Ashish or others.

I feel there is something else that is in her mind which made her do what she did in last chapter or she has someother plans about her future. We will come to know this in next chapter.
