We know, Desai is also a good manipulator and his manipulation was distinct in last episode. When two manipulators manipulate each other, mutual trust is minimum. Truth normally takes backseats while they communicate each other.

I agree with the assessment of Meera, she is a great manipulator. A more amicable break down would have been better.
