Unlike old days girls nowadays wear panties so either they need to pull it down before peeing and pee standing with their dress positioned around their knees or else deal with wet panties. Earlier there was no concept of wearing panties so depending on the situation most ladies would either pee standing with their saris around their knees but invariably during festivities when ladies would pee outside they would lift it all the way up to protect their expensive attires.
