Basically I feel cuckolding as people exploring and experiencing their hidden/ unnatural desires and fantasies. It's a matter of choice rather than "normal or not". Few people make it happen in real life and few don't. Ultimately what matters is the consent of both husband and wife, privacy, and sexual wellness.
And as previous users mentioned, it is not something that's quite common in India but it's gaining momentum due to multiple factors (western influence, internet, fantasies, sex chat forums, etc....)
