Tragedy struck Ramya Krishnan after 3 years of her marriage. She and her husband were lovers in college who married each other straight out of college. She was 7 months pregnant and was traveling from Bangalore to Chennai with her husband, who was driving the car.
They were going to her parent’s house. A drunk truck driver rammed the truck into their car from the driver’s side, resulting in her husband’s instant death. Ramya Krishnan ended up seriously injured in hospital with a miscarriage.
