Their reaction can be one of the two. They can make a big hue and cry that their innocent son has been taken advantage of my the shameless older married lady. Confront both Sunthari and Thamotharan thereby bringing everything out in the open and thereby creating a mess.

Or wanting to avoid such an ugly situation they may privately warn Sunthari or maybe both she and her husband to make sure Sunthari stays away from Raja in the future. In any case, they wouldn't want to stay there anymore and would be looking to rent a place elsewhere.
