Bro...i feel sad for you and i also think...what you are saying may be true for many IT lady employees.

but it is time for you to take action and lead your life (both of yours) on frontrun.

Restrict her in spending your money
tell her the truth and reality of life

and tell how she feels insecure without a bit less makeup where as how others feel confident without any makeup etc.

first restrict spending and you will see everything else.
