bro-sis relationship is a lot common. most of the time, intercourse is not involved. just humping, smooching etc.

mom-son incest is rare. one of the reason is age difference. most moms usually loose their desire for sex when their sons come of age.
And even when mom marries young and have baby early and is quite young when her son is of age, its hard to get sexually attracted to ur mom and vice-versa.

So mom-son incest only occurs if the family is dysfunctional. sometimes when a woman loses her husband early, she gets attached to her son. and since in india still most women dont marry after their husband dies, their son is the only man in their life. so when the son grows, the mother may have sexual desires towards him.

Another case is when husband is abusive towards his wife or son or both. since divorce is still not common, wives are forced to live with their abusive husband. so, mom and son are highly affectionate towards each other as both of them are victims of same abuse. this deep connection may develop in sexual relationship as the son grows older. This usually occurs in rural and suburbs areas and is quite common than most people believe.

Incase of sexually active mothers, her son may develop strong desires towards her if he keep seeing her indulging in sex. The desire may be stronger if he sees her with men other than his father. And any women who has been involved in sexual relationship with many men might get attracted towards her son if she begins to see him as man. This usually occurs in cities where women are modern and independent.

so overall in normal family mom-son incest is extremely rare and might never occur.

father-daughter incest usually occurs incase father forces his daughter. There might be other cases but they are nearly non-existent.

remaining family relationship are called taboo relationship. taboo relationship are not rare like incest. they may occur in some family at some point of time knowingly or unknowingly.
