Its beyond doubt about the qualities of present author. So, I expect the story-line ultimately will justify the header.

So, I presume, understanding one character would obviously lead to understanding the other character.

While Meera is selfish and promiscuous, Krish is broad minded and reserved on sexual intimacy with other women. While Krish is multidimensional talented, except good physique and seduction qualities, Meera does not posses any. The difference is very wide if we consider mutual love. If we consider love is sacrifice, mutual respect and well-being for partners, Krish outwits Meera miles. Rather its better to say, Meera is opposite to Krish.

So, either Krish has to sacrifice his qualities to match Meera or Meera character need to be reformed progressively to alleviate to higher level. Any downfall is always easier than achievement. The time taken for downfall is comparatively less compared to time taken for achievement.

Whatever path author chooses, it would be an uphill task, unless he decides  both. I mean Pull Krish down while push Meera along.

However, if author justifies the naming on entirely different account against my thinking, I withdraw my thinking process.

I cross my hands in anticipation!

She is just other side of this coin, if you ask me Krish is the dark one of the two there, with secrets, manipulations and weaknesses and I can definitely say Meera loves him more than he ever can love her.

उत्सवे  व्यसने चैव दुर्भिक्षे राष्ट्रविप्लवे।
राजद्वारे श्मशाने च यतिष्ठति स वान्धवः ।।

A friend in need is a friend indeed!

And a spouse is more than a friend. A loving spouse is one who is your friend, philosopher and guide. She is not merely your sex partner.

If you believe in the above concept, please remember the evening of Meera - Das episode where they kept Krish in astonishing pain while engaging in sexual activities. Whatever be the reason for Meera to engage and showcase into the carnal activity, there was no reason for her to understand the pain she was inflicting on Krish.

After the painful and humiliating showcase, Meera departed with Das. Krish could have committed nuisance out of utter humiliation. For any loving spouse it is expected to extend moral support to partner after debacle. Meera failed to act accordingly what was more demanding out of love. Love is not calculative reaction of brain. Its an emotion.

This one incident is enough to paint Meera character. Meera never loved Krish as she is expressing.

Whereas, Even after Meera deserted him with flimsy reason of Krish sleeping with Salu, Krish did not forget to extend his support to Meera. He offered help in the form of a job, knowing very well that Das had an eye on Meera.

@RCF, You decide where I am wrong in deriving the differences of both the character.
