I think a true and intimate friendship with a Desai as a resting and wise pole, would do the
three very well ... flirting (but no more)here and there with puns between Meera and Desai 
will give the story a different level and tear.
But if the author brings Meera and Desai together again in a sexual relationship, everything
would go back to the beginning. That would be in the long run (in my opinion) the end of
Meera, Krish and the mutual respect and belief in each other and trust in life.
Furthermore, it would put Meera in the same relationship position of Ananya, namely a 
will-less sex object and plaything of some older men.

Therefore, the night between Desai and Meera should remain unique and special and not 
be repeated again....

Tejas should play more of an active role, perhaps integrating one or two "new" characters 
his age into the story....

I agree with you in Meera and Desai reconnection     . Your suggessions are very good But Krish knows what he doing and he is master in story building. It's up to him how he drive the story.
