Once when my parents called me on phone, I accidentally told them “Ramya speaking” and corrected it. We both followed a disciplined and systematic lifestyle of being sister while sister and Ramya while Ramya. He too sincerely studied all evening until 9 PM and then only he will come to Ramya. I use to wait as Ramya around 9 PM regularly for him to wrap his studies and come to me.

One fine evening, he was studying even beyond 9 PM curiously. I was happy that he is fully focused on study. I know next day he has an exam. So casually I asked him “Manoj, what happened? It seems you are seriously studying even beyond 9 PM. Is everything ok?”

Manoj realized that he is getting late and said “Ramya, I have a lot of formulas that I need to memorize for tomorrow’s test. I have not done memorizing all of them yet. I am also interested to come and have fun, but these pending formulas are holding me”

I was happy with his commitment to studies, so I encouraged and appreciated him “Ok Manoj, no worries. Please continue memorizing, no rush. Take your time”

Manoj thought for a second and said “Ramya, I got an idea to have fun and also not to interrupt my studies especially memorizing formulas”

I looked at him puzzled, he came to me, and he said his plan in my ears closely. After listening to his plan I got shocked in shy and I said “Chee, no, I won’t agree” and started running away from him. He chased me with his “Please, please” requests and finally he caught me and implemented the plan that he said in my ears.
